Its over...!
Mugdha was on her way to theatre when het phone buzzed,seeing unknown number she rejected it as she have to reach her destination soon,baba must be waiting and worrying about her.She was walking really fast that it was difficult to manage frequency of her breath.!
After a few minutes her ph. again buzzed,she looked in annoyance,the same unknown number was flashing..she picked in annoyance...
"Hello!"she said in between loud puffs.
"Ms.Mugdha?"a masculin voice came.
"yes..who is this?"she said almost irritated.She was puffing hard as walking too speedy to hold her breath.
"I am calling from 'Mehra Arts'...can you come for a screen test tomorrow for our new project..!"
Hearing that her feet freezed suddenly,she was breathing fast and gulped hard to digest what she had just heard,shaking her head in disbelief she blinked her eyes to make sure she was'nt dreaming...no it was not a dream...controlling herself she asked,
"When should I come,Sir"
"Tomorrow at 10 A.M."
"Sure sir!" she said controlling her overexcitment she asked again,"Sir can I know who recommended me?"
"Your face,your grace!btw mail your portfolio on this id..."and he told her his Email-id which mugz noted in her mobile.
A broad smile curved on her lips before she hung up.It was best ever new she heard in last 5 years...yes 5 years...!But soon her smile vanished..."will baba allow me to do all this?He is always being against showbiz and his view are not good for this fraternity...he always worship this art and do not support its commercialization
.Although Mugz agrees with him on many points but she also believes that everyone in this fraternity is not a seller..some are really sincere over here and Mehra Arts is known for their sincerity,the research they did for their historic shows reflects their maturity.More than her own desire,this is also a requisite for their future,the sinking condition of Rajhans,ill-health of baba,his expensive medicines,acting classes expenses,future of many innocent forthcoming actors who are getting training in their academy...all needs fund and if she is getting a source of fund,how can she ignore???
"yes I will do it and somehow I'll convince baba..."she decided in her mind,after all it was her necessity more than desire.
"But portfolio..."It was the main hurdle for her right now..she dint have any portfolio ready in her hand..moreover she dint have any photosession yet.!She was walking and her mind was thinking who would help her in preparing portfolio with each footstep...reaching rajhans door her feet stopped on her own thought,
"Rajat!he can help me...but should I take his help...how can I...no..no..not again.!"she knew very well that since she remember her existence,rajat was always there behind her each success no matter how tiny were they..she was nothing without him...after her parents death...she came to this place...in her father's elder brother's home whom she lovingly call baba...Rajat and his family were their neighbour...
She still remembers that she was jumping from window of her room to run away from this place when rajat caught her in his arms...that was then a new relationship got a life...their friendship...
"Why were you jumping from this window...you would have get countless broken bones if I dint catch you.."said the boy in authorative tone.
Mugz shivered a bit but then shrugging his hand she said,"who are you???and how does it matter to u...I am going.."saying so she started walking but the boy hold her hand
"Where?"he asked
"Who are u to ask me?"said she all annoyed.
"your neighbour!now tell me where are u going?"he said tightning his grip.
"I am running away from here...I don want to live here...its like a cage..."she said
"who said its a cage...you know its rajhans...people are dying to become its part and u r lucky..."said he.
"yes but its not my home..I want to go back home..I am missing it..missing my parents.."said she and her eyes became teary.
"Where are they?"asked he
"they are no more..." a whisper escaped from her mouth.
Boy thought for a while,then he said,"but why are you missing them?"
Mugz looked at him in disbelief,then she said"mum used to prepare food for me...help me in home-work...love me..play with me..papa used to bring toys for me...shop for me...support me when I need.."she said in between sobes.
Boy said,"don miss them...from now my mum will prepare food for u...help u in home-work...and we will share toys and everything which my father bring for me...and I will play with u and support u whenever you need.."he said.
"But why would u do all this for me?"
"Because from now we are friends...I am rajat...and you?"
"Mugdha..."said she.
"so shake hands.."he forwarded his hand but mugz refused to do so..."No!"she said
"Why so?"asked rajat
"One thing is still left..."said she stubbornly as though she will accept frndship when her all demands gets satisfied.
"What?"
"Who will love me?"asked she.
Boy thought for a while if I'll say mum then my own share of mum's love gets cut down,same goes with papa...then who??? suddenly he got an idea,
"Me!!!"he said with glimmed eyes.
"What!!!how would you...we are too little to love.."she said confusedly.
"idiot...I'll love you...you do not need to love me back..ok..now be my frnd.."he forwarded again and this time she shook hand happily.
That was the starting of most innocent relationship which went on...and as promised rajat always supported her...love her..till he met mauli...destiny plays cruel games sometimes..!
Mugdha wiped her tears which unknowingly came out of her eyes and entered in the room where baba was coughing high..she rushed to him,giving him water rubbed his back which made him feel relax.
"how was your day?"he asked
Mugdha could'nt resist herself and chanted the news...in very first reaction his face fell...mugz was noticing his changing expressions...he might be thinking hard...after a few expressive changes he said in weak helpless voice,"As u wish beta...we have no other choice left.!"
His helplessness torned mugz heart but she had to accept it...now next problem was of portfolio...she needed a photoshoot right now...who could help her except rajat...but how could she...there was a time when she happily seeks his help...she loved to tell her even small problems to him...he was her only friend...soon he became her everything..her whole world...but now...!

Rajat was happy that shahi was ready to do stage show on his terms..after shoot he and mauli were sitting in his office facing shahi and his PA.
"So you are ready.."said shahi with a winning smile.
Rajat was a bit surprised on his jestures but he dint pay too much attention,"Yes!"said he.
Shahi handed them file having all related documents,agreement papers and forms.
"I'll sign and send you soon.."said rajat
"Rajat I think we should sign right now..I've read everything..."mauli said
"Yeah..but.."
"C'mon !!!"she said and signed his papers after filling form.Rajat also did the same.
"GREAT!!!" shahi said delighted "so finally we can work out on this stage show...c'mom lets celebrate it.."he opened champagne bottle..."So finally you are ready to do on my terms.."he screamed out in excitement.
His words snatched earth beneath rajat's feet...he was shocked..so shocked to react...!He looked at mauli who was escaping an eye contact..it was clear..very clear that she cheated him...he controlled his anger,his frustation,his rage and behave normal throught out the time they were in shahi's office.
As they came out of it,he burst out in anger,holding her hand tightly he shouted,"HOW.DARE.YOU!!! YOU BITCH!!!I'll KILL YOU!!!"he threw her towards car.
She was totally shocked on his behavior,she never expected such a harsh side of him,she trembled in fear,
"Honey..listen...i am explaining you everything..plz listen to me..."she said in trembling voice.
"Don't YOU DARE!!!"he pointed his finger in anger "I AM PENALIZING FOR I LOVE YOU SO MUCH..YOU...!"he shouted baring his teeth..his jaw line was clear due to his anger...
"BUT YOU KNOW MAULI..ITS OVER NOW..ITS ALL OVER...GO TO HELL!!!"
saying so and leaving her down on car's bonate he left.

Mugdha was thinking about him...she was still confused..should she take his help or not...
She took a deep sigh when her ph.buzzed,his name was flashing on screen..."may you get a long life rajat.."she silently wished...
"Hello..."
"where are you?"he asked
"rajhans"she said
"come to home plz mugdha...I need to talk to you.."he said in a weak voice.
Mugdha got confused.."Okay!"
After half an hour she reached his home.Ritu told her that he is in his room so she went there.He was lying on bed holding his forhead.His eyes were closed and he was looking pale..his face was showing agony...empty wine bottles around his bed showing that he drank so much...mugz knocked door which was already opened.
"Come in"he said without looking.
"Are u fine?"asked she although she had promised to herself that she would never ask about his well-being.
Hearing her voice,he raised his head...mugz saw his eyes which were red and teary...her heart sinked seeing his condition,still she hold her emotions...
"Never believe anyone mugdha..you'll get nothing but betrayal."he said shivering.
Mugz could'nt control herself anymore,she came near to him,cupped his face,"What happened rajat?tell me what happened?"
"i am finished mugdha..i am such a big fool..a looser..."he screamed weakly.
Mugdha hold him tightly,"No rajat..you are not a looser...control urself.."
"Mauli cheated me...I loved her so much and she..."he was trembling with pain and torments.
"It happenes rajat...but you are not a looser..."she said
"Sometimes I feel like dying mugdha..."he broke into tears.
"Rajat...!"a whisper escaped from her mouth...she embraced him ,rubbing his back she tried to give him warmth..warmth of closeness..warmth of love which she always did...after a moment rajat came back in his senses and broke the hug...
"I am..sorry!"he said
Mugz wiped her own tears,"Its fine.."
"But I am sorry mugdha..really sorry.."he said directly looking into her eyes.Mugdha was confused...is he apologizing for now or for breaking her heart 2 years before...!
She was looking into his eyes for finding the truth...but could see anything except his long lasting pain.!
Ek zara hath bara Dey tu pakar lay daman...
Us k seenay mein sama jaye humari dhadkan...
