In Verma Palace:

Mukti is in her room, lying on her bed. She is thinking all what Moksh said and did. And she has teary eyes.

Mukti (thinking) - Who was he? Why he was talking like this? Do I know him? No... I don't but why he doesn't seem stranger to me?

Then she looks at her arm which Moksh had held firmly leaving red mark of his fingers. She caresses it and...

Mukti (thinks) – Why it is not hurting me? A stranger touched me but I don't feel sad about it.

Her chain of thoughts is interrupted when the door of her room opens.

There stands Mr. Hriday Verma. Mukti quickly hides the mark with the help of her duppatta.

Mr. Verma – Hello princess.

Mukti (smiling) – hello papa.

Mr. Verma – alone?

Mukti – yup.

Mr. Verma – Where is Ayan?

Mukti – I don't know.

Mr. Verma – I have told him to be there with you and...

Mukti – For me he is my friend and...

Mr. Verma – But for me he is your cousin.

Mukti – But papa! What is the need for hiding this fact?

Mr. Verma – It's necessary. He will protect you secretly. He looks as younger as your age group friends. So, I decided to have him as your personal bodyguard (giggles).

Mukti – But from who he will protect me?

Mr. Verma – Don't worry. He will be there for few months.

They hug.

Mr. Verma (thinking) – I know my princess, how you feel. But it is necessary as I don't want to lose you. I have not told you yet that your life is in danger because I don't want to make you worry. I love you my child. I won't allow anything wrong to happen with you.
