''Hai devi Mayya !'' Khushi screamed whilst she covered her eyes with her palms;desperately trying to block out the image in front of her .
Ashley and Josh broke away reluctantly both of them petrified and embarrased at the turn of events.
Adam cleared his throat in an attempt to lighten the mood .''So,shall we go for lunch?'' He asked .
''Uh-yeah .Lets go !'' Josh replied awkwardly doing anything he possibly could to get away from the situation.
''Josh,I assume you havent met Khushi?'' Adam asked smiling indulgently at Josh-who shook his head in negative and flashed Khushi a charming smile.
''Khushi meet Josh and Josh meet Khushi!'' Adam said taking the task of introductions upon himself.
''It's really nice to meet you Khushi .'' Josh said with a smile on his face . ''Meet my girfriend Ashley.''
Ashley leaned forward to shake hands with Khushi .As Khushi flashed both of them a polite smile.Her mind going into overdrive -they were not married?! But then why were they..why?
Her expression turned grim as she realized that Josh was Laad Governor Part2 .He was cheating Ashley like Laad Governor Part1 was cheating Lavanya by not being married! Another importance of marriage lecture was needed she thought firmly ,the feminist in her screaming out .
Arnav had been scrutinizing Khushi inorder to witness her reactions ever since they had walked in on Josh and Ashley making out .He watched as the confusion flitted out of her face;replaced by determination and anger.He knew that look!
He had to speak to her before she did something stupid!
He took her hand in his and roughly pulled her away from the rest of the group.
''Stop scheming .'' He told her calmly .
''Kya?!'' She said shocked.
''Khushi,I know what you're thinking .But please for heavens sake do not try to better their life's with your ideals on marriage!''
''Of course! I cant expect anything better from you can I?!You men wont understand what marriage means to a woman! And to have an unnamed relationship with her - a relationship that is as good as nothing to the society-it is the worst way to insult a woman!Who will marry her after ...after what she's been doing with him?!Her name will be ruined in society!'' She replied breathing deeply after her monologue.
''What do you mean by - you cant expect anything better from me?!Why am I being dragged into this? And they don't live in an Indian society Khushi Kumari Gupta !But you wouldn't know any of that being your illiterate self would you?In your ignorant little wor-''
He stopped suddenly as she turned around;her eyes filled with tears and ran away ,back into the hall.
Damn it !What had he done? Why couldn't he be nice to her ?!
Goddamn regret! - he thought as he felt the regret envelop his being at what he had just done .Damn!What he wouldn't do to get away from that for a day.
He composed himself and walked back into the hall only to hear Adam'sslightly raised voice exclaim- ''Khushi!Come on honey,tell me what happened!Are you allright?Did Arnav say something again?''
If this man wasnt such a major client Arnav would sadistically torture him.What he wouldn't give for a chance to grind his big head into pulp!Why was he so worried ,anyway?! Who was Khushi to him?! And what the f***k did he mean by again?!
Khushi composed herself and smiled up at Adam.
''Nothing Adamji.Let it be ,Please?''
''If you say so .'' Adam smiled back at the lady in front of him .She was something else all right!She was gorgeous but also smart and cute and bubbly and ferocious too when needed.Not to mention the fact that she had the guts to piss off ASR-the man with the most formidable temper!He liked her-he decided .More than he had liked any girl for a long-long time .
''Well let's going then.'' Josh said and Khushi instantly looked up and shot him a glare .
Arnav wanted to roll his eyes at her antics.

The drive to the restaurant had been a short and pleasant one ,at least for everyone besides Arnav.
His desire to kill Adam had multiplied tenfold as he watched Khushi and Adam conversing about Jalebis.The man had LOTS of patience -he admitted grudgingly.
''So yeah as I was saying Adamji,- jalebis -you REALLY must try some ! They're my favorite sweets in the world! Actually no...'' She stopped as she scrunched up her nose in concentration;thinking something over with all the seriousness in the world as Adam waited for her to continue.
Oh !How I would love to slit his pretty little neck -Arnav thought seriously.
''No ,they're actually the favorite of all my eatables!I'm sure they'll be you'rs too once you taste them!Of course,they wont be half as good as the ones I make but I'm sure they'll do!''
''You make jalebis?'' Adam asked amused.
Arnav wanted to roll his eyes at them and kill Adam.
''Yes!Of course I do!I make the best Jalebis in the world!Tell you what -why don't you come to my house?Then I'll make you some Jalebis and you can meet my Jiji and Buaji as well!''
''We're here '' Arnav said unenthusiastically ending Khushi's lecture and hopefully ending any chances of Adam's visit as well Arnav thought wryly.

Arnav wanted to slit Adam's throat.But hey!What's new in that he thought dryly.
The man was literally stuck to Khushi and Khushi to him.They managed to talk about almost all the inane things in the world enthusiastically during dinner.
Arnav had been watching them and hearing their inane talk all evening and his eyes felt like they wall fall out due to the amount of rolling he'd been doing lately.It was then that he heard Adam call Khushi citing that he had something important to tell her.Khushi agreed to go with him immediately,of course.
The woman was too trusting! What if Adam had turned out to be a rapist? Arnav thought restlestly .He had a bad feeling about whatever the important thing was that Adam wanted to say ,though he couldn't justify himself.
He followed them silenty making sure to be inconspicuous.
And then watched on horrified as Adam said ''Khushi,I know we dont know each other alot ...but I really like you and I want to get to know you more.If you know what I mean?So I just wanted to ask you if you'd go out with me?''Adam finished and flashed Khushi a hopeful smile.
Unaware of the other man pass by who wanted to rip his intestines out and feed it to the dogs.
