''Its really nice to meet you Mr...? ''
''Peterson.It's Josh Peterson .But you dont have to be so formal!Just Josh would do.''
Josh said smiling up at him.
''Nice to meet you Mr.Peterson.'' Arnav said ignoring all the no-need to be formal crap.
''Okay then .'' Josh replied with a smirk. As Arnav appeared unfazed.Then suddenly Josh turned around and exclaimed.
''Oh,Honey there you are !I was starting to get worried!Where were you?What took you so long?''
''I'm so sorry Josh!You're not mad are you?I would have left the hotel sooner if I had known what Indian traffic and roads were like!''
''Of course I'm not mad.It's okay I understand .The roads do make people shudder the first time.''
Arnav turned around to see what the cause of this sudden outbreak of emotion from Josh's part was . And as soon as he turned around he saw a long legged beauty complete with flawless blond hair and beautiful eyes.Men would kill to touch her smooth skin but Arnav didnt care..although he should have sensed something amiss in this he didnt look too far into the matter .
''Arnav!'' Josh called out to him again. Ugh,this man was so irritatingly cheerful!
Arnav turned around keeping his irritated expression in check.And as soon as he turned around Josh introduced the lady to Arnav .
''Meet my girfriend Ashley! She's never been to India before and she really loves visiting new places so I thought why not?'' Josh said smiling tenderly while looking at Ashley.
''Nice to meet you.'' Arnav said suddenly in a rush as he realised Khushi wasnt there anymore .Where was she? Had she gone back into the room with Adam?
He didnt know why but the man's interest toward's Khusi irritated him to no end !
He walked back into the room as quick as his legs could carry him and sure enough there she was with him as she sat on the chair talking animatedly about ...jalebis from the looks of it .
Was this man actually listening with utmost interest on how to make jalebis?!
''Khushi!What are you still doing here?Didnt I tell you to go help Di out !You get paid for that ,not for gallivanting across my office and disturbing my client's peace of mind!''
''Actually,Arnav she's not doing anything of the sort.Stop giving her a hard time.And she told me that you're forcing her to go and that she really isnt needed anywhere.So,I was thinking if you wouldnt mind I could take her out for some coffee?'' Adam said flashing a smile .
HOW DARE SHE?! HOW DARE SHE tiitle -tattle to Adam about him?!And how DARE Adam question him?! Who the bloody hell did he think he was?!
Arnav controlled his anger after all Adam was a client .He couldnt afford to lash out on big clients just because of stupid Khushi Kumari Gupta .It would cause bad name for the company and him and Adam was a very important client that would help spread the flag of AR to the west.
He shot Khushi a death glare and then replied to Adam in a voice devoid of any emotion.
''Sure ,Mr,Levine take her wherever you like.''
''That really gracious of you Arnav .You know what?You should join us too!''
''No,Mr.Levine I dont think that that would be such a -''
''Oh come on Arnav!Dont be a spoilsport and loosen up once in a while!It will be great fun!'' Adam said mock punching Arnav .God!What was this man so happy about all the time anyway?!
But now that Arnav thought about it ...he could keep an eye on him and Khushi if he went with them ... .
''Okay ,Mr.Levine .If you insist.''
Adam just smiled at him goodnaturedly and said ''Well lets get going then!We still have work to catch up to and I have got a band practise session shceduled later today.''
They all walked out of the room and Arnav didnt spare the chance of shooting 'I'm going to kill you today' looks at Khushi who for the lack of a better word looked scared.
Unfortunately for them ,they walked in on a very passionate kissing session between Ashley and Josh.
