MN House- living room

nupur sitting on the sofa with legs stretched out on the table in front of her. Mayank next to her with a book in his hand. She has her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. He shrugged his shoulder to dislodge her , she held his arm within hers and moved closer, he shrugged with a frown on his face and tried to move her , she didnt budge but with a cute smile on her face , eyes closed settled down more comfortably

"nupuuur" mayank called out in a false sweet voice

"ummm"

"hum pad rahe the"

"ummm"

"utho. Tumhe abhi yeh chapter complete karna hain. Uthooo" he said

"kya hain mayank! Tum pado na, main sun rahin hoon. Sab kuch aise hi dimaakh ke andher gusjaatha hain .Tumhaari awaaz mein na koi jaadu hain mayank " she smiled sleepily

"haan, neend laane ki jaadu. Main lori nahin gaa rahaan hoon. uthoo"

"lori? Hai! Gaona, tumhe practice hojaayega jab bachhe raat ko nahin soyenge tab tum unhe lori sunaa sunaa ke sulaasakhoge" she lifted her head up excitedly and placed it back immediately on his shoulder

He pushed her , She didnt move, he removed his arm from her clutches and said sternly ," ek hi haftha bacha hain nupur..."slight irritation in his voice..

"aur phir sab log waapas aajaayenge! Gunjan dia samrat uday bhaiyaa sab! Main tab dher saara shopping karnewaali hoon, saara din tv dekh..." she Said dreamily

"aaj tumhe yeh chapter ke baad problems bhi complete karna hain. " he cut her short rudely

"tumne mujhe promise kiya tha ki tum mujhe nahin daantoge" she pretended to be hurt

"aur tumne kahaan tha ki tum padogi.Get up. coffee banao aur peeke padho."

"coffee peena achha nahin hota hain pregnancy mein! Kyun tumne net pe nahin padaa?"sarcastically

"pregnancy mein tho wine bhi nahin peena hain, kyun tumhe nahin pata tha?" in the same tone

"teek hain teek hain," she changed the topic," mayank yeh batao hum apne bachhe ka naam kya rakhenge? Waise tho maine soch liya hain par phir bhi tumhaara bhi ismein haq bantha hain tho sochaa poochloon ek baar ki.."

"thanks nupur mere HAQ ke baare mein yaad rakhne ke liye. Par wo baad ki baat hain abhi study time hain "

"subah se pad pad ke thak gayi hoon, main kal se continue karthi hoon. Please mayank, mujhe sona hain" and yawned and brushed her eyes as if she was very sleepy.

"par abhi abhi tho.."

"dekho agar main nahin sooongi tho main thak jaaoongi , kal time nahin uth paaoongi, tho khaana time pe nahin le paaoongi tho phir se thakaan hojaayega -mujhe bhi aur aur in bichaare bachoon ko bhi. Aur phir khaana peena sona nahin karenge tho wo badenge kaise? Waise do do bhi hain tho mujhe double time khaana hain aur double time sona hain. do nahin sochon tho teen baar kyunki mere khudh ka bhi khayaal rakhna..."

"okay!" mayank stopped her and closing the book in his hand with a thud , said," jo chahiye wo karo. Jao"

she grinned at him , pulled his cheeks and got up happily forgetting to pretend to be sleepy went away .

"100% dramabaazi! ...double sleep time! Waise bhi din mein dus ganta sothi rehthi hain!" and shook his head with a smile," pata nahin kya karegi exams mein. agar fail hogayi tho..." his nagging fear came back and shortened his smile. he shook himself and got up," aaj khush hain tho rehne do mayank. kal jo hoga dekhaa jaayega"

MN house morning time- near dining table

" hey bhagwaan is baar bachaalena. Agar is exam main pass nahin hui tho mere bachhon ke saath graduation complete karna padega. Achha nahin lagega na. Aaj pehli baar koi bade nahin hain jisse main aashirwaad lesakhoo. (her face remembering her elders) aur gunjan bhi nahin hain. Tho please jo bhi main lekhnewaali hoon paper mein wo sab teek kardena bas. Waise yeh mayank ..." and turned , bumped into him holding a cup in his hand

"ye lo" and he placed a spoon of curd and sugar into her mouth," ab sabka all the best message aagaya hain tho chale? Dher hojaayega" and placed the cup on the table," kya hua?" she had an odd expression on her face

" kuch nahin"

"nervous ho? Its ok nupur. Bas khatam kardo" and placing one hand on her tummy and another on her arm said," yeh in dono ke taraf se- all the best. ab chalo " grinning he kissed her on the forehead and moved to the door

"thanks (looking up) Kabhi kabhi jo hamaare saath hain paas hain wo humein dikhtha hi nahin" (to self) she smiled and followed him.

Excel college-last exam day

" an hour more"

nupur stood up quickly for to ask for another sheet of paper and felt her head spin. She held the table and tried to call the teacher but her head spinned again and she felt a wave of nausea sweep over and an unknown fear clutched her heart.

Students next to her and the teacher by then saw her but she could hardly register anything as something sharp seemed to pinch her back . all the fear disappeared as she was only conscious of sweat breaking out on her forehead and something twisting her insides , she clutched her tummy, the pen falling on the floor and she heard someone scream ...'maaa'
