Excel samrats cabin

samrat walked in casually and found mayank sitting in front of some papers hurriedly doing some thing

"mayank mujhe laga ki tum ghar pe honge. Nupur ke saath..."

"subah tho amba...matlab maid thi. Afternoon gunjan jaanewaali hain aur shaam tak main chalaajaaonga" he replied without lifting is face up from the papers

"mayank tumhe jaana hain tho jao. Main.."

"nahin mera hi kaam baaki hain. Tumhaara hogaya" mayank still head bent

"tho main kardeta hoon na tumhaara kaam" samrat offered to help

"paper corrections?" he looked up at samrat sarcastically

"wo tho..." samrat grinned sheepishly," kya mayank, bachhe hain kuch achha sa grades dedo aur..." and catching mayanks look," sorry. Maine bas aisa hi kehdiya. Tum karo corrections correctly karna okay? Main ghar chaltha hoon maine abhi tak amba se nahin mila hain"

"kyun tumhe amba se milne ka kya shauk hain?" head bent

"uski haath ka khaana itne din tho khaaya hain ek baar tho uska haath choomke taareef karna allowed hain"

"amba ke haath?" and mayank smiled inspite of himself and imagining the scene first amba and then with nupur and gunjan going livid laughed adding," samrat ye plan tum delivery ke baad ke liye postpone karna please. Agar wo chaligayi tho mere babies ko kaun khilaayega?"

"babies?"

mayank realised his slip of the tongue," haan...ek badiwaali aur ek uski andherwaali" samrat made an oohh face. Mayank thanking himslef went back to working but suddenly looked up-"samrat waise sorry"

'kyun?"

"tum dono ko jaldi waapas..."

"shut up mayank nupur tho nupur tum bhi! Kya nupur aur baby sirf tumhari responsibility hain?" samrat irritated and sat down. Mayank smiled at him and went back to work.

"tum itna worried lagrahe the kal"

"wo ek question tha ya tum mujhse bol rahe ho? " mayank asked back but head still on his papers," waise dono taraf se stupid hi hain"

"very funny mayank, jo bhi hain, main samaj saktha hoon ki tum dono ko kaise lagahoga hospital mein par..."

mayank looked up thoughtfully," humlogon ko hamesha galatfaami hoti hain samrat ki humein doosron ka dard feelings samaj aatha hain. Aisa nahin hota asal mein. Humein kuch nahin pata hota ki doosre ki dil dimaakh mein kya chaltha rehtha hain"

"i dont know mayank. Friends itne bhi ajnabi nahin hote"

"friendship ke baat nahin hain samrat experience ki baat hain. Jispe beeththa hain usiko samaj aatha hain bas"

"ok, tho tumhi boldo ki tum kiskis baat ko lekar worried the kal? Baby ke baare mein ya nupur ke health mein kuch aur problem hain jo tum hide karna chahthe ho? " mayank had stopped his work but kept staring at the papers not meeting samrats eyes.

"ya tum darr gaye the?" samrat persisted,"Ya kuch aur hain jiske baare mein main nahin jaantha ?" he looked keenly at mayank. Mayank didnt answer immediately

"sab kuch itna mixed up hain samrat" mayank got up dropping the pen on the table

"mayank kya baat hain?"

"nupur ko itna dard horahaan tha samrat aur aisa nahin ki is dard se kuch bhi achha honewaala hain. Mera tho dimaakh jaise ...numb hogaya tha. Pehle tho mujhe laga ki nupur ko kuch honewaala hain phir doctor ne kahaan ki bachhe ko ...mujhe samaj mein nahin aarahaan tha ki mujhe khush hona chahiye ya nahin ki nupur ko kuch nahin hoga " he stopped ," aur hum kuch bhi nahin karsakthe" helplessly he continued.

He stopped in front of the table facing samrat and rubbed his eyes as if washing away the images stuck in front of his eyes. Samrat walked next to him and placed his hand on his shoulder, reasurringly," ab sab teek hain mayank"

"pehle bhi kuch galat hone ki reason nahin tha samrat. Mere wajah se hi yeh sab...nupur ko maine force kiya na padne ke liye tho dekho. Yeh saare jo problem hua premature labour ka wo sab uski stress ..."

"cmon mayank kisne kahaan tumse? Doctor ne tho nahin "

"nahin par agar maine usko itna emtional balckmail nahin kiya hota tho wo aur rest lethi.."

"nahin agar wo college nahin jaathi tho meri shaadi ke saare shopping mein saare tayyariyaan karthi bas, rest nahin lethi. Kya tumne itne saalon mein nupur ko rst lethe hue dekha hain ki..."

"shayd par stress tho nahin hota na samrat" mayank s guilt feelings wernt as understanding as samrat

" Mayank,Tumne kuch achha sochke hi nupur ko study complete karne keliye..."

"nahin" mayank cut him short shortly and looked at him. Sudden understanding of all the bad feelings in his mind and heart since he learnt of nupurs pregnancy came forcefully , all at once and samrat shook him as he went quiet. He raised his eyebrows questioningly.

"nahin samrat, maine achha sochke nupur ko padhai ke liye force nahin kiya. Mere dil mein yahin tha ki agar mujhe kuch hojaatha hain mere dad ki tarah tho nupur ko koi problem nahin hona chahiye. Isiliye kuch zyaada hi strict tha uske saath. Jab thoughts galat hote hain tab unke result bhi galat hote hain"

samrat who had had no idea of these things running in his head stared at him for a moment shocked and then said, "Tumhe yeh kyun lagtha hain ki world mein jo bhi hota hain wo tumhaari wajah se hota hain? Relax mayank. Tumne always responsibility ko accept kiya hain -jab nupur ko chodne ki baari aayi thi tab bhi aur jab shaadi karne ki baat aayi thi tab bhi . Aur jab nupur nahin thi tab sab ko , aunty bauji sab ko chashmish ko tumne hi support kiya tha "

he stopped for a second and mayank listened ," tumne aisa kuch nahin kiya hoga jisse tumhe guilty feel karna padein. Aise bohot saare circumsatnces hain jo hamaare hands mein nahin hota. aur uskeliye hum responsible nahin hosakthe hain...nahin mayank tumhare intentions galat nahin the aur ab tho sab teek bhi hain...relax mayank"

maybe he was right, maybe not but mayank feeling lighter smiled at him , samrat returned the smile glad that mayank was looking better

"tumhe apne pregnant wife ki jo bhi wishes hain wo sab fulfill karna hain -uske baare mein socho" he said," waise list tho lambi hogi na?"

mayank grinned and samrat continued, "Yeh sab unncessary baatein mind se nikaalo mayank aur chalo ghar jaake amba ke haath ..."

" samrat, waise bhi main pittha rehtha hoon amba ke baare mein" mayank laughed

"tho chalo , aaj dono saath mein pitthe hain" samrat grinningly placed his arm around mayanks shoulder.

" thanks samrat " mayank smilingly replied. Samrat raised his eyebrows "vote of confidence ke liye. " anytime dude friends kiskeliye hote hain?
