Arnav felt himself falling into an empty space.'what was so terribly wrong with her? composing himself he softly asked her"khushi, calm down..tel me y are u crying..Im right beside you"
Khushi looked into his eyes and in a second fell into his armas.Her hands clutched his back tightly while tears flowed like a river.This was the first time since marriage they had been so close.
"I-I cant see you like this arnav..I can't"..she managed to get out the words.
*FLASHBACK*
Khushi sat in the verandah while the soft sinds carressed her angelic face.Her mind jolted back to the day when Lavanya was leaving.She remembered her last words to her"Take care of ASR khushi.U r a sensible girl.One day you will understand everything." Now she knew what her words had meant. The truth was clear to her.
"I love him" she wispered to herself..as the stars smiled down at her...
The next day...
Khushi stepped into RM to meet payal.Somewhere down in her heart she knew she had come to see arnav.Flushed at this thought she mindlessly kept walking . Suddenly she felt two strong hands pull her backwards.It was arnav.He cornered her against the wall.,pinning her hard.That was when she saw his face displaying anger.
"How-How could u khushi? U kept it from me..didn't u? ", fury overflowing from his eyes.
"I-I dont understand ,Arnav".. Khushi replied..her mind had gone blank.
"The hell u do. Dont pretend in front of me. U were engaged to Shyam.My own sister's husband..werent u.Answer me dammit".
"Arnav listen..its not -
"Let me finish.When the truth came in front of you,u deided to shut up.why? so u could let payal get married to akash. I didnt know u were so selfish.i hate u Khushi kumari Gupta.ii hate u"
The words stung her like poison.Before she could hold herself back,she realised Arnav was gone...
Khushi fell on her knees .There was no strength left in her.The blood flowed from her wrist.It was the same place arnav had held her the night in the warehouse as she let her eyes pour out the salty water
.'Why didnt he give me a chance to explain? Why do i love a man who will never love me back or even attempt to understand her? Why?'
Arnav clenched his fists in an attempt to let go what had just happened.He wanted to believe that khushi had no fault of hers.deciding against his thoughts ,he assured himself

Nani's health had deteriorated over the past few months on account of her age.Except her and arnav ,nobody knew about shyam's truth.The truth brought her days on earth closer.Arnav went inside her room and stood there motionless at what lay in front.Her frail body lying on the deathbed.Arnav bent down next to her slowly taking her hand in his.
"Please dont leave us ..Please" he cried..
"Arnav, i want u to marry khushi" she said in a voice one could barely hear.Arnav turned away from her once lively face ,and released her hand,his face displaying shock.
"Listen to me arnav.khushi has nothing to do with this" she went on" plase don't hold her responsible .She is like my daughter.Can a daughter hurt her mother? Tell me..She decided to hite the truth for our sake.For Anjali's sake Arnav. Your di wouldnt have been able to seep in the truth."
Arnav turned his face to her..trying to comprehend every word she had uttered just now.
" It was so painful for her to b at the same place as where shyam lives.To watch him everyday and gulp down the betrayal,the sorrow he had imparted to his family.khushi cared for our happiness, her sister's haapiness leaving behind her own. she needs your support arnav. i want my anjali and my arnav to b happy" with that she closed her eyes forever.
Three days after she left for the heavenly abode..arnav and Khushi were bound in the pure bond of marriage.a step to safeguard khushi, a step to let haapiness remain in anjali's life.
