I couldn't help look it up. And in dream interpretation, it states that this perhaps could refer to the fact that the person in question is unknown to you.

Now it only makes sense that we see ourselves faceless, when we don't have full knowledge of who we are...😆

But some, which have roots in shows, basically are fan-fiction, can only come from those characters portrayed on screen. I don't see any likeness between Abhinav and Dev, can dissociate him from Dev cause I like the certain shyness and reserve in Abhinav(which came through in some interviews of GEET).. and its that reserve I associate with this Abhinav here.

Ah!...So that explains the mystery behind your liking Abhinav Shukla.

But the pic I put up there has just begun to blur the lines in my mind...and I might fully take him for Abhinav in a short while...

I promised myself I would comment over the weekend but yet I missed out...I have been a bit slow after my vacation...

H, I read the chapters again and again and if possible again... and each time I am left with a sense of sadness at the end of chap-17.

I'll probably comment in parts since I would need to gather my thoughts ! 😕 So dont get suprised if you see my words not having a sane ending at all !

In Chap12 I loved how she wanted to get to know Maan better and took the first step to do that - be it words or touch. I love it how she blushes at every thing related to him - as if this whole thing is a first time for her - maybe it really is after she came out of her mother's shadow. I admire Maan for knowing when she needs that wee bit of space and for giving it to her. How can he be sooo understanding unless he really is concerned about her and wants to take this forward.. (this is in reaction to the sudden kiss in the last chap and a fear that there's something in the background we are waiting to see)

Well the mango bite and eclairs debate was lovely - i love them both !!😆

Chap 13: H, i loved your words :"As nightfall guided the stars out for a waltz" - how romantic is that !

I found their convo over the sleeping arrangements quite dramatic - her declaring openly (!) that she cant sleep when he's near and he most gallantly not wanting to let her sleep alone in the coach ! I wonder if they woke up in the middle of the night and checked each other out - specially Maan ! That she noticed that Maan wasnt taking everything headlong and she being bothered about it kinda made me feel her restlessness. All along the chapters I sometimes see Maan thinking about the future, but Geet is always into the present. As if the question about the longevity of this relationship doesnt come to her mind at all...I wonder how she was apprehensive at first when in her heart she was always so sure about the person that Maan is.But true, doing everything first time takes guts and that in turn takes sometime !

I thought my earlier post is big enough to bore you, so I am writing in a new post !

The restless waiting for the phone to ring in both hearts - that was awesome. It was unexpected given only two hours they separated from the other, but it sure showed how restless their hearts grew in that short time. The Christmas tree shopping was awesome - i loved her childish nature.And it was a pleasant surprise when Maan deciphered that it was her first Christmas tree... The soup was totally unexpected and I loved how she was intent of "bhagaoing" him from her house and he resolutely stayed put. And Wall-E for a movie... you are a gem...i loved this part !

The two phone calls kinda made me apprehensive about all things set to happen in the future. You arent going to make Maan and Abhinav kinda related I hope..nor are you wanting to bring Maan's ex-gf back? I wouldnt at all like it and am sure Maan wouldnt either😆 The kiss was so many emotions entwined - specially care, longing and communication of the restlessness and heartbeats in their own way...

About the call to Mummyji - why did he have to call her mother and not her ? That sounds weird!

I love it how Geet was erased Abhinav to a great extent from her life, mainly because Maan is there in the present. Love how Maan has understood Geet. But would like to see him making some claims now.

Lastly, am pained to read your post on how you will reduce your presencein IF. I know we, as readers sometimes disappear for days and you are entitled to do the same, but still, I cannot stop feeling sad. Dont worry though, you take care of yourself. 😊

I have been writing too much today and bunking too much office ...

I totally loved Geet coming out of her mother's shadow and wanting to take some decisions herself - and she succeeded.

But dont our mothers influence a lot of our decisions unknowingly in our lives?

Your parents teach you how to react to things, distinguish between good or bad or maybe what you want or dont want in your childhood. That is given.

Sometimes these trends continue even in adolescence or maturity when maybe we run to them ourselves to ask for opinion, when we cant do it ourselves...maybe bcoz our minds are not strong enough?

Sometimes our decisions are based on what is right or wrong rather than what we want in our hearts. The reason for that is also family at times.

Maybe a weak mind is also the reason we cant revolt when our parents force their opinions of an ideal son/daughter on us?

I dont know exactly what portrayal of G's mother you are planning. But I would surely want to know the disconnect in the mother-daughter relationship here ..

BTW, who is Vidyut who was mentioned in a prior post?

And now that I have said all that I wanted to say, I want to ask when are you coming back? Its been sooo long...
