Nandini was helpless.She did not know how to defend herself.She was very upset.
Maan continued,"Purposefully she invited me for her birthday party.She made my way to Geet's heart easily".
Geet stared at Nandini.
"Nandini...my best friend cheated me.Cheating!
"Geet!I did it for your happiness.I knew that you love Maan".
"You acted very well.Now also you are acting".
"No Geet.Believe me".
Nandini's eyes welled up with tears.
Maan continued,"Later i made her believe that Sameera was my ex-wife and Vipin was her boy friend"
Sameera and Vipin chuckled.
Vipin said,"Actually we are already married and it's been 3 years".
Suddenly Geet raised her voice,"Mr.Maan Singh Khurana!"
Everyone looked at Geet with a shock.
Maan's heart beat fast due to tension.
Dadima came out of her room.
"How could you cheat me like this?"Geet asked.
"Geet..i love you very much and i did this to win your heart".
"Ok..but you could atleast say the truth to me.Instead of that you cooked up a lot of stories.Why did you bring up Sameera and Vipin into the picture and made fool out of me?I can't forgive you for that.You are fake Maan".
Geet's sharp words wounded Maan's heart.
"No Geet".
Dadima became very upset.
"Geet beta..believe Maan's love.He loves you a lot.He did'nt try to cheat you purposefully".
"Stop it.I respected your age.I considered you as my own grand mother.But you.. instead of correcting your grand son you supported him.What kind of a lady you are?"
Dadima was deeply hurt.Her tears flowed down.
Maan lost his control,"Geet!You can't talk like this to my dadima".
"Stop it.I hate fake people".
She cried.She was fully shattered.
"Why did you cheat me Maan?"
Maan had no answer.
Geet went out.Nandini followed her.Dadima was very upset.
Dadima told Maan,"Don't be late Maan.You try to convince her.You should not lose Geet".
Suddenly they heard Nandini's voice,"Geet!"
They ran out.
Nandini was crying.Geet is lying unconscious on her lap.
"Geet fainted".
They were shocked.
Maan rain towards them,"Geet!"
He embraced her.He wept.
"What should not have happened has happened".
Geet got admitted to the hospital.
Kavya cried.He rests his head on Anjali's shoulder.
"I told you Anjali..having a relationship with Maan is not good for Geet".
Anjali felt sad.
Maan looked at them with pain.
"You are misunderstanding me.I have not done anything.Geet realized that Sameera was not my wife..and Nandini has helped me a lot".
"You may not have done anything with a bad intention.But your deeds are having negative effect on my sister".
Maan felt sad.
"Oh God!"
Kavya continued,"Maan..you may not be wrong.But Geet's relationship with you and your family destroys her.So please leave her alone.Please let her live peacefully.Please go away from her life.I beg you".
Maan could not bear that pain.He has to be away from Geet.That was the only thing which he could not imagine.Buthe left the hospital with tears.His heart cried:
'Zindagi mein koi kabhi aaye na rabba
Aaye jo koi to phir jaye na rabba
Dene ho agar mujhe baad mein aansoon
Toh pehele koyi hasaaye na rabba..'{Musafir}.
Maan could not concentrate on his office work.
"My God!Geet has not regained her consciousness.While she is in the hospital also I'm forced to work here".
Aditya entered his room.
"Maan Sir!"
"Yes Adi!"
"You look disturbed".
Maan tried to hide his pain.
"Maan Sir..I am not just an employee.Right?You have always treated me as your close friend.Though i have not been working here for a long time there is a strong bond between us i believe"
"Yes no doubt Adi".
"Ever since i joined here i have been noticing your face.You are charming.But there was no glow on your face.But recently your face changed a lot..after your engagement with Geet Ma'am.But now again...what happened Sir?"
Maan did not answer.
"By the way Adi...i heard that you fought with Sasha and her gang.I never expected it from you.You were always calm.But what happened now?"
Maan asked him to change the topic.
"Maan Sir..our own staffs are gossiping about you.I could not tolerate it.So i shouted at them.That Sasha..her tongue is so sharp".
Maan was embarrassed as his own employees are gossiping about him.
"What were they discussing about me?"
Maan asked him.
"Maan sir..i know that it's not true.."
Adi did not want to hurt Maan by saying that.
"Adi..be frank to me.Tell me.."
"Maan Sir...Sasha says that you were a cruel husband.You tortured your wife.So she left you.You did not give the baby to her just to make her life messy".
"No!"Maan started sweating.
"No..it's not true.Fake..."
"I know that Maan Sir".He comforted him.
"Adi..i loved my wife very much.Still i love her.I never tortured her.I have always tried to make her happy.But she did not understand me".
"I trust you Maan Sir.But then Geet Ma'am...another rumour is that Geet Ma'am was your brother Dev's girl friend".
Maan did not respond.Adi realized that it was true.Otherwise Maan Sir would have reacted.
"If so,why did you get engaged to her?"
"Because i fell in love with Geet".
Maan shed tears.
Maan was lost in his past.Memories covered him.
