I read it on Saturday afternoon and it has been haunting my waking hours and dreams...

Its too difficult to understand Maan, so I'll not even try. Its just that I feel Geet deserves better in her personal life than the f**ked up relationship with Maan. After the volcanic life that she's been through, I would appreciate if you atleast give her a chance to have emotions for a normal guy than complicated Maan. It pains me to say this, because I am a diehard Maaneet fan... but the situation is just not fair...

I read your comment about Maan having to undo many things to get together with Geet.I have certain opinions about this. Maan can only 'try' to undo things that he thinks is enough - it might just not be enough for Geet. Just as Dilip cant undo the last two decades of his behavior with Maan, I would presume that Maan can only undo a certain part of Geet's life with his actions. The choices he is making are his own, but he seemed too confident when he said that he would take Geet home someday and it was a matter of 'when' not 'if' - he has taken Geet granted enough and I dont think his confidence is correct. His actions are too far from his words. He keeps hurting the same person whom he should be trying to save from hurt?

Geet wasnt perturbed by his earlier affairs maybe because she didnt see materiality in them...but seeing affection for Vaidehi in Maan's eyes was really painful ... i mean i am amazed that right when they were having those convos and time together, maan was actually dating someone else? She was right in saying he is his father's son...and Maan cant undo that...nor can he undo his personal life..I am also surprised that Geet still has hope...pls pls make her move forward...i repeat, she deserves much much better...

I have been thinking over the last two days over how to put my thoughts into words and even after spending so much time thinking, I have done a lousy job...

On a light note, whenever I come across a Maan who's a playboy, I pray that he dies of AIDS🤣

Do you really believe that people can really change to that extent ?? Whatever may be the circumstances, and whatever being shown on TV serials, I dont think a person can undo things to this extent in the practical world. Some things, some acts are beyond redemption, cannot be undone.
And here the irrational make-believe comes into force. The use of fantasy world, where anything is possible. Anything.😊

I dont want Maan to do things to the extent that later on I will find it impossible to believe in his changed heart. Please...

So is Vaidehi not liking Maan being indifferent to her. I think every person who underwent so many harsh realities and do not experience the kind of love that they deserve from the family will have many layers in them . They cover up their original personality while in public , they just believe in people after much scrutiny of the person in front of them and sometimes might not even share the inner most secrets that their life -partner should know because they might not be the soul-mate that they deserve. I think Maan's and Geet's indifferent behavior for many things comes from their family background and they are bound to have many facades while dealing the harsh real-world.While Geet is still struck to her principles with the hard exterior , Maan could find a way out through his boisterous and play-boy behavior . It is very evident from the conversations he has with Geet and every other girl. he depends on Geet and shares his true self with her because he believes in her and has the confidence that she does not use his insecurities and gain some ulterior motives and she does not mock at him . Hence he is his true self only in Geet's presence . No I am not supporting what Maan is doing is entirely right, but I am saying it is so much bound to happen that way. You need a way out for such situation each persons chooses their own ways, here Geet has chosen to be a doctor and we don't know much about her except from being a good friend who grounds Maan with her come backs to Maan's sarcastic comments and a person who likes Maan however he might be and Maan has chosen to be the man he is now .I just hope things turn out better for these at the end of it coz they can be soul-mates because if they can share their deepest secrets and pain without putting up any false facades then they can bring happiness into their life's easily by themselves coz they understand each other and they are connected at a different level altogether . I disagree with Maan here , yes you can enjoy with the person and get to know the other person if they come from a different kind of background but after getting-to-know stage is over then what next in a relationship?? Yes , I am with him when he says Geet is a person he'd go home to but I hope it is not too late.

I loved Emily and Maan's convo. Now what is Vikram upto??Is Geet a target in their game now? One good thing for me is that I did not fall in any confusion regarding any character in this update😆

For such men, i dont think you can blame 'Kiki' or anyone, it's just that 'the other woman...' remains a constant construct which could be periodically filled by anyone... I feel Geet deserves better... she is a strong, competent, principled girl who needs someone similar and doesnt deserve to have her self-respect undermined by constantly wondering where she really stands with her partner... Currently she is, simplistically albeit, being selfishly used as the 'haven & shoulder to cry on during troubled times' leading to nothing but heartache & unnecessary trouble from Vikram & Mitalee for her...

Though perhaps they will eventually meet, i hope it is only after Geet too has had another successful relationship with a man who wont take her quite so much for granted and that Maan will have to work really hard to get back what he himself lost...

But kudos to your writing that it evoked such strong stuff... i hope you dont get offended by my comments... if you do then i am sorry 😳 !

PS: Sorry forgot to add one last thing... 😛😛 this Maan only seeks, whatever anyone or everyone could give, but never gives himself... he such a parasite, a cry-baby and a wussszzz! Sorry just had to get it off my chest!!!
