Note - This update is exactly what it has been titled. An impasse. My Dad, who is in the army, is coming home for the weekend, which was a surprise by the way. So this is all I could manage for now, proper update first thing Monday.

Chapter Four

Impasse

Geet stared on startled. She peered hardin his direction, to catch a glimpse of his features. But the shadow of the bus-stoproof sheltered his identity. She tried to see if he made any attempt to move butcouldn't even tell if he was looking her way. He just stood there inert withthe frail post of the bus-stop for support. Giving up after making one lastattempt to figure the man out, she let out a long-held breath.
