Geet is still unconscious. Maan checks her temperature by touching her forehead
M: (st) the temperature is not that much high. What happened to her?
M: geet! aankhein kholo geet
G:...
Geet is not responding. Maan rubs her palms with his palms
M: geet...geet..hosh mein aao
G:...
Dadi and jugnu mama realises that geet is not acting.
Jugnu: maaji! Geet is really unconscious. What happened to her?
Dadi understands the seriousness
Dadi: (shouts) chandu! Jaldi paani lekar aao
Jugnu mama and dadima are coming to the couch.
Dadi: jugnu! Doctor ko bulayiye
Jugnu mama calls the doctor immediately
Maan is still rubbing geet's palm anxiously
M: hosh mein aao geet...please
Dadi is confused by maan's worried reaction
Dadi: hey bhagavan! Ye kya ho raha hain? Why maan is so restless? Does maan love geet this much? But how come geet didn't know anything about this? geet told me that maan didn't know her untill she came to the mandap. Did maan know geet even before that?
Maan has forgotten everything about his resolutions and self restrictions. He sits on the couch and makes geet's head to rest on his lap. He is silently staring at her closed eyes and he starts to caress her head.
M: (st) geet! i won't let anything to happen to you. I can't loose you too. i need you geet...i need you
Chandu comes there with water and notices geet on maan's lap.
Chandu: (st) ye geet madam ko kya hogaya? Is she pregnant? That too within 2 days? Wo kaise ho saktha?
Dadima takes the water from chandu and sprinkles it on geet's face.Maan is still starring at geet's closed eyes.
Dadi: geet beta! Aankhein kholiye
Geet is still unconscious. Maan's heart beats quicken in anxiety.
Dadi starts to pat geet's cheeks. After few seconds dadi feels a tear drop on her hand which is patting geet's cheek. dadi is shocked and she lifts her head up to see maan's eyes. Dadi couldn't believe what she saw. Tear drops in Maan Singh Khurana's eyes. Dadi is startled to see maan like that
Dadi: maan beta! Ye aap kya kar rahe hain?
Maan tries to hide his emotions from dadima. He turns to other side and holds his tears back. Dadi tries to look at maan's eyes once again.
By the time the doctor walks inside
Jugnu: maaji! Doctor has come
Dadi and maan's attention diverts towards the doctor
Dadi: (to the doctor) ayiye doctor ji
Dadima moves a lil bit away from the couch to make space for the doctor. Maan is still having geet on his lap.
Doctor: kya hua?
Dadi: (points to geet) she has fainted a few minutes back
Doctor looks at maan on whose lap geet's head is resting...
Doctor: aap?
M: Maan Singh Khurana
Doctor: wo nahi hai. aap ye ladki ke kaun hai?
Maan didn't know what to reply. Dadima replies instantly
Dadi: he is her husband
Doctor smiles and she checks geet's pulse rate and heart beats
Doctor: Mr. Khurana! did she have breakfast?
M:(st) breakfast? How do i know?
Doctor: mr. Khurana...
Chandu: nahi doctor. Geet madam didn't have breakfast
Doctor: geet...hmm nice name
M: (st) geet didn't have breakfast till now. Pagal ladki hai. she doesn't even take care of herself
Doctor: mr. Khurana what did she have for last night dinner?
M: (st) last night she came back from her maika @ 10.30. i donno whether she had dinner or not?
Dadi: chandu! Did geet have dinner last night?
Chandu: nahi dadima. Geet madam came back only around 11 pm
Doctor:Mr. Khurana! When did she take food last?
M: (st) when did she eat last? How on earth i am supposed to know that?
Doctor: Mr. Khurana...can you please answer me?
Maan looks at chandu
Chandu: sir! Geet madam didn't eat anything since the day she came to the mansion
Maan closes his eyes in frustration
M: (st) you love her maan! but in your attempt to send her away from you, you didn't even care to see that whether she had food or not. How can you be so rude on your geet?
Doctor: (to chandu) when did she come here?
Chandu: 2 days back
Doctor: so she didn't take any food in the last 2 days. Hena?
Chandu: ji
Doctor stares at dadima and jugnu mama questioningly.
Dadima and jugnu mama are feeling guilty for having ignored geet
Doctor: as she didn't take any food for the past 2 days, she is too weak. That is why she has fainted.
By that time geet gets back her consciousness, opens her eyes and looks around. She is surprised to see that her head is resting on maan's lap. She gets up from his lap. Maan opens his eyes and he is relieved to see geet like that.
Dadima and others are also relieved that geet has gained her consciousness back.
maan has forgotten everything about his struggle to stay away from geet. he cups geet's face and asks
M: geet! tum teek tho hena? ek pal ke liye mein sach much gabra gaye the (courtesy: GHSP)
Geet couldn't believe what maan is doing
G: (st) hey babaji! Am i day dreaming? achanak ye maan ko kya hogaya? Why he is worried about me?
Geet looks into his eyes and sees the pain in them. She couldn't bear to see him like that so she tries to calm down maan.
G: maan! mein bilkul teek hu. Aap shanth hojayiye (Courtesy: GHSP)
Maan looks into her eyes...and it is time for Mahi...mahi...eyelock.
dadi: (st) oho...my stupid grandson is in love with her completely...hmmm...story is getting interesting...
Doctor who is watching the happening between maaneet, interferes
doctor: thank god. Mr. Khurana! You care for your wife atleast now. She didn't take food for 2 days. How come you don't even know anything about this? are you really her husband?
Hearing what doctor said, Maan removes his hands from geet's face and turns his gaze away from her
M: (st) maan! control yourself. Don't let geet to find out about your feelings for her. it will lead to more complications
Geet is upset by the doctor's words. She couldn't stand that some one is questioning Maan Singh Khurana
G: doctor! My husband was on a business tour. He came back just half an hour before. So he doesn't know anything about this.it is all my fault only. waise bhi... i can't stand anyone questioning my husband like this? samji hai aap?
Maan turns towards geet and looks into her eyes
M: (st) please geet! now stop carring for me.
Dadi and jugnu mama are smiling at geet's words
Doctor:(to geet) i am sorry Mrs. Khurana.
G:...
Doctor: (to maan) i am sorry Mr. Khurana
M: hmm
Doctor: Mrs. Khurana, now let me give you an injection
Geet is shocked and she jumps from the couch
G: kya? injectionnn?
Maan and others are confused by geet's reaction
M: kya hua geet?
G: maan! wo kya hena...i am scared of hospitals, white coatwali doctors,bada bada injections and the bitter bitter pills wagera wagera...
Maan feels like smiling at geet's kid-like talk. He controls himself.
M: (st) oho...my geet is scared of injection. She is such a kid. that is why she is able to mingle with those slum children so freely
Dadima, jugnu mama, the doctor and chandu are bursting out into laughter by geet's words. Geet is embarrassed. Maan notices that and shouts at dadima and others
M: stop it
Dadima,jugnu mama and doctor all are becoming silent.
But chandu is still laughing out loud. Maan is annoyed
M: (shouts) chandu! Should i tell you separately?
Chandu: nahi sir
M: nahi na? Ab chup hojao
Chandu: ji sir
Chandu goes mute
M: geet! ab aaja...baito idhar
G: please maan! no injections...
M: geeettt!!! Don't make me angry. Now come
Geet walks backwards
G: no. I won't take the shot
Maan catches her by grasping her wrist and make her sit on the couch forcibly
G: maan! chodiye mujhe
M: nahi chodunga
Geet tries to escape.
G: please maan
Doctor and others are enjoying the wrestling between maaneet with a smile on their face
M: doctor! Now give the shot
Since the doctor is too lost in maaneet, she couldn't hear what maan said. She keeps on starring at maaneet. Meanwhile geet is trying to escape from maan's hold
M: doctor! aap yesa kya dekh rahe hain? I can't hold geet like this for the whole day. Now give her the shot
Doctor: ...
Maan rolls his eyes
M: (st) ab ye doctor ko kya hogaya? Has she forgotten how to give a shot or what?
G: maan! meri haath chodiye
M: doctor! Will you please give the shot before geet runs?
Doctor:...
Maan is annoyed at the doctor's inaction
M: doctor! Aap ne suna nahi maine kya kaha. Now give the shot
The doctor comes out of the trance.
Doctor: ji...ji
The doctor is taking the medicine into the syringe
Geet is struggling to come out of maan's hold
G: maan! please leave me
Maan whispers in her ears
M: geet! When i asked you to leave me, did you do that? nahi na? I too won't leave you geet!
Geet heart skips a beat. she stops protesting
G: (st) does he mean something by this? why i am feeling that his words have some hidden meanings? What is that?
Maan notices that geet is lost in some thoughts. He tries to use this opportunity. He signals the doctor to give the injection to geet
Doctor comes close to geet and rubs her arm with the cotton. By doctor's action, geet comes out of the trance and shouts
G: doctor ji! Ye app kya kar rahe hain? Mujhe injection nahi chayiye
Geet again starts to protest
Doctor: Mr. Khurana! Hold her tightly
M:ji
Maan tightens his grip on geet's wrist
G: maan! leave me...varna...
M: varna kya hai geet? bolo...
G: varna...kya...i'll cry
maan understands that geet is trying to cheat him using lame excuses
M: kya farak padtha hai geet? since the time you came to the mansion you are doing that only
G:(st) dust danav
Maan smirks
G: maan! ek bar us injection ko dekhi lejiye! Itna badaaa injection hai. par itna chota haath hai meri. how can my little arm bear the pain?
M: geet! now stop behaving like a kid
G: maan! meri bath...
M: chup bilkul chup
G:...
Doctor interferes
Doctor: dekhiye Mrs. Khurana! If you feel that your arm is so small compared to the injection size, then you can take the shot on your back.
Geet is super duper embarrassed by the doctor's word.
Dadima and others bursts out into laugter once again. Maan gives them a stern look and all are going mute
G: (st) hey babaji! Ye kaise doctor hai?
Maan notices the weird expression on geet's face and he controls his laughter with so much of difficulty.
M: (sarcastically) geet! kya tume mansoor hai?
G: chi chi babaji!
Maan smirks
Dadi: (st) bhagavan! Thank you for sending geet here. she is one who can drive maan crazy. He deserves her
Doctor: Mrs. Khurana! Now show me your arm
In order to avoid further embarrassments, Geet silently stretches her arm to the doctor
Doctor gives the shot to geet
not wanting to see geet in pain, maan closes his eyes. Geet couldn't bear the pain, she too closes her eyes, rests her head on maan's sholder and holds his shirt collar tightly. maan feels her pain.
dadi and jugnu mama are admiring maaneet whose eyes are closed
dadi: (st) ye dono ek sath milkar kitna sundar lag rahe hai
jugnu: (st) hey bhagvan! Hamesha in dono ko kush rakhe
chandu:(st) aaj ka Romantic show tho bed room ke bagar drawing room me hi chal raha hai. great improvement
the doctor withdraws the injection from geet's arm.
doctor: bas. Hogaya
maan opens his eyes and sees geet's closed eyes
M: geet! it is over. You can open your eyes now.
Geet opens her eyes and sees that maan is starring at her arm with concern. Not wanting him to feel bad, geet lies
G: hogaya? really? Kamal hai! i didn't feel any pain at all
Maan understands that geet is lying
M: (teasing) acha! are you ready to take one more shot?
G: kya? one more?
M: you didn't feel any pain na?
G: wo...wo...
