Part 28

Dadi: geet! now get out of the mansion

Hearing what dadi said, Maan's heart almost stops.

Geet couldn't believe what dadi just said

Jugnu mama is confused by dadi's words

G: (st) hey babaji! What happened to dadima? She told me that she will help me. But now why is she asking me to get out?

M: (st) achanak ye dadima ko kya hogaya? She only allowed geet to stay here for 3 months. Now why is she asking geet to get out?

Maan turns to geet and looks at her. geet too is starring at maan.

G: (st)why maan is starring at me like this? does he expect me to stay back? Geet! ye tum kya soch rahi ho? Why should he expect you to stay with him? He is already asking you to leave. So now he must be very happy by dadima's words. Ab mein kya karu?

M:(st) What will geet do now? Will she walk out? What if geet leaves the mansion? how will i stop her?

Maan couldn't think beyond that. he closes his eyes at his helplessness.

Geet notices that

G: (st) what happened to him? He doesn't even want to see my face or what?

M: (st) ye tum kya soch raha ho maan! you yourself wanted geet to leave na. Now what is that hurting you?

Maan realises that, gradually he is loosing his battle with himself.

Dadima notices maan's restlessness and she smirks to herself.

Jugnu mama breaks the silence

Jug: maaji! Ye aap kya kar rahe hain? Why are you asking geet to get out?

Geet turns towards dadi. Dadima winks at jugnu mama and geet.

Maan's eyes are still closed. Jugnu mama and geet are confused by dadi's gesture

Jug: maaji! Mujhe kuch samaj nahi...

Dadi gestures him to be quiet and she signals him to look towards maan. jugnu mama notices maan's closed eyes and understands about dadi's plan. But, our premature baby geet couldn't pick dadi's clue. Geet misunderstands that dadi really want her to leave the mansion.

G: (st) dadima didn't trust me. Hena babaji?

Geet is worried and turns towards maan whose eyes are still closed

G: (st) maan! i won't go

Dadi again says in a stern voice

D: geet! why are you still here? Now get out

Hearing what dadi said, maan opens his eyes and looks @ geet who is staring at him already

M:(st) now what should i do? Should i stop geet?

Geet is still unaware of dadi's plan

G: dadima! Please don't do this to me. I want to live with maan.

Maan's heart skips a beat.

M: (st) your life wants to live with you maan. how will you stay away from your life?

Dadi: (st) maan! i know you very well. Now let me make you realise, how desparately you want geet in your life

Dadi: geet! maan doesn't want you to be with him. I can't force him on this

G: i know that dadima. Maan won't want me to be with him. but i want to be with him. Please don't send me out

M: (st) don't i want geet to be with me? No geet! you are wrong. i need you forever

Maan realises what he is thinking

M: (st) maan! don't loose your control. Geet should leave. This will be good for her. no matter how much you need her, you have to send her out for her own good.

Dadi: dekho geet beta! I don't have any problem with your stay in the mansion. but maan is the one who wants you to leave. So you just ask him. If he agrees, then you can stay with him. I won't object to it

M: (st) ye dadima kya kar rahe hain?

Jugnu mama whispers in dadima's ears

Jug: maaji! Don't overdo it. What if maan doesn't agree?

Dadi: don't worry jugnu. He will definitely agree

Maan doesn't know what to do. He is in dilemma

M: (st) maan! what are you waiting for? Now send geet out of the mansion. this is the final opportunity to send her out.

M: geet! chali jao yahan se

Dadima and jugnu mama are disappointed as well as shocked.

Geet looks into maan's eyes and says with determination

G: no maan! i won't go away from you

M: (st) geet! you can't understand what i am going through right now. Please don't make this difficult for me.

Tears gather in geet's eyes

G: please maan! let me stay with you

M: (st) geet! i don't even know your full name. But i want you to be with me forever. how did you become so close to my heart geet?

Geet comes close to him and holds his arm tightly and cries

G: please maan! don't send me out

Jugnu mama tries to comfort geet. but dadima stops him

Seeing geet in tears, Maan's heart is aching

M: (st) accept her maan! you need her...you need her.

Maan thinks for few seconds

M: (st) yes i know...i need geet. but i can't act selfishly. I don't want to risk her life for my selfishness. I have to send her out

Maan closes his eyes and some past memories flashes in his mind.

Flashback...

Maan sees geet who is in unconscious condition. Blood oozing through geet's injured arm. Seeing her at that condition, he almost stops breathing. He kneels down next to her, takes her in his arms and hugs her tightly. tears roll down maan's cheeks. He screams in agony

M: what happened to you? Aankhein kholo. What happened to you?

Maan kisses her forehead and eyes and again hugs her tightly

M: tum kaun ho? Tumari naam kya hai? i don't know anything about you. But i love you. Please open your eyes. I love you

Maan pats geet's cheeks to bring her back to consciousness. There is no response from geet. maan is more agitated. He feels as if his soul has left his body. He again shouts at unconscious geet

M: hosh mein aao. I can't live with out you. Please don't do this to me

Geet is still unconscious

M: no! I won't let you to leave me like this...i won't

Present

G: maan! i won't leave you like this...i won't

Geet's words bring maan back from his past thoughts. He opens his eyes and looks into her eyes

Dadima and jugnu mama are silently watching maaneet

M: (st) geet! you are not even aware of the fact that you are my life. without knowing what i am going through, you are pleading me to accept you. What will i do now?

After a long battle with himself Maan composes himself and decides to send geet out of the mansion. he pulls his arm from geet's hold and shouts at her

M: enough of your drama geet! ab bahar niklo

Dadima and jugnu mama are shocked to the core

Geet is too hurt by his words

G: please maan!

M: get out

Geet looks into maan's eyes. Maan couldn't face her gaze. He turns to other side

Dadi: maan!...

Maan cuts her short

M: please dadima! You stay out of this

Jug: maan! mera bath suniye

M: mamaji! Should i say separately to you?

Geet keeps on starring at maan

G:(st) ab mein kya karu? How will i fulfil my promise?

The very thought of geet leaving him hurts maan very much. He couldn't go through the pain anymore. He decides to get rid of her from his life forever.

M: (shouts) bas. I can't take this anymore

He grasps her wrist and drags her to the door. Geet is shocked.

G:maan! please yesa math kejiye

Dadi and jugnu mama are running behind maan

Dadi: maan! ye aap kya kar rahe hai? now leave her

Jug: maan beta! Mera baath suniye

Maan ignores everyone and he keeps on dragging geet to outside. Geet tries to release her hand from his hold. Maan tightens his grip. But after few seconds maan realises that geet has stopped protesting. Maan turns around to see geet. he is shocked to see that geet's eyes are closed and she is collapsing. Maan's heart almost stops and he screams

M: geeetthhh!!!

he pulls her towards him and hugs her tightly so as to stop her from falling down.

M: kya hua geet?

G:...

Maan is worried. he carries her in his arms to the couch and make her lie there. He taps her cheeks

M: geet! kya hua? aankhein kholo...please geet aankhein kholo

Seeing the happenings, Jugnu mama whispers in dadi's ears

Jug: maaji! I think, this is geet's drama to tackle maan

Dadi: haan jugnu! I too think the same

Dadima and jugnu mama are smiling at each other
