Here is the next update. I got very few comments and likes 😭😭😭😭😭…so please let me know if this is worth pursuing. Please feel free to criticize as I am first time writer. If it is boring, I will go back to just reading.

Also, there will be probably no update tomorrow as I have to go out. But I will definitely give an update on Monday.

Chapter 4 – Angel's Message

Still Two Months ago –

Geet immediately called Pari's uncle – Mr Raghu Malhotra and fixed an appointment with him for the evening. Geet knew that Pari's uncle was not a very moral man but then he was the one who brought Pari up after her parent's death. When it came to her family, Geet was ruthless and could go to any extent. She was confident she will turn this around and called the private detective agency she usually hires and gave them some instructions.

Mr Malhotra – I have already chosen a perfect groom for my Pari.

Geet replied in an overtly sweet tone– Oh really!!! Perfect Groom. But Pari loves Rahul so how come a 40 year old sheikh be more perfect for your Pari?

Raghu was shocked for a moment but he had heard about Geet from the business world. She was known for her astuteness to get what she wanted.

Well he is giving me 5 crores as meher amount….

Geet smiled and continued in the same sweet voice - These are the papers which will make you the owner of 10 crore property in Khandala. It will be transferred in your name the day Pari becomes Khurana's bahu. Any issues, deal will be cancelled. Marriage date has already been fixed by the Pandit. You will have to trust me on this and any cheating, I will make your life a living hell. You are an intelligent man. Take the offer while it is still on the table.

One more condition – No one, not even Pari will know of this arrangement ever.

Geet shook hands with Mr Malhotra and proceeded to her house to tell the good news to her entire family.

Today Afternoon 12:00 PM

Geet was in dilemma over what to do. It was getting very difficult to mange her physical pain and her bouts of fainting had also increased. She was not sure that she can mange one more day without whole family knowing of the truth. Her only worry was the sly Raghu mama of Pari. If he even got the whiff of this she was sure he will double cross her. She wasn't worried about the money but her brother's and Pari's lifelong happiness was at stake.

Rahul had come very close to knowing everything today. She knew that he loved her a lot and if he knew the truth he will not get married to Pari at this time. She was really confused as she couldn't tell him or anyone in the family about why his marriage to Pari at the right time was so important. She didn't want Pari or her brother ever to feel disrespected because of her greedy mama. No, she has to hide her health issues and the marriage deal from her entire family.

After lot of thought she prayed to Babaji and took a decision knowing and trusting the love in which her entire family believed in. She wrote a letter in such a way which she knew will force her parents to continue with the marriage and will also avoid unveiling of truth.

Next Morning

Mom, where is Geet….don't tell me the most beautiful robot in the world is sleeping

Behave Rahul…..today is Tuesday. She must have gone to the family temple to pray and talk to her Babaji.

After 2 hrs…..

Raj started to wonder why house was unusually quiet and that too on the eve of the marriage. As soon as he realized he asked Nisha – Where is my princess…

Don't know, haven't seen her since morning. She should have come back from the temple. Why don't you call pujariji and ask him when she left.

Raj called Pujariji and Nisha could see her darling husband's turning worrisome. He called for Rahul immediately after keeping the phone.

She didn't go to the temple today. Nisha and Rahul gasped as that is the first in 24 years as Geet always went to family temple every Tuesday. Raj asked Rahul to look for Geet.

After another 2 hrs…….

Raj was pacing the floor left and right. Nisha was crying. By now Juhi, Annie, Chayiji and Naintara were crying and consoling Nisha as everybody was really worried. (Juhi and Annie had come early to help Nisha and Raj in marriage preparations. Rishab and Maan were supposed to join tomorrow morning). Rahul came back from Pinky's house and informed that nobody knows where Geet is. They thought of calling SP Sharma but just then Nakul came and mentioned the letter he found at Geet Baby's side table.

Raj snatched the letter from Nakul's hand and started reading. Every word, every letter was piercing his heart and if not for his daughter's writing which he knew so well, he would have just refused that his princess could have written this letter.

Dear Mom, Dad and Rahul,

I am so sorry for leaving you guys in such a big lurch that too today. But what to do love of my life, my BF is going away from me and I just can't let that happen. I am really sorry especially Rahul for you. Please do not wait for me and do get married. I will take my treat when I come back. And offcourse happy honeymoon. Who knows I may even join you with my hubby J.

Dad, thodi si badnamui hone ka dar hai and sorry to put u in such a position but please sambhal lena.

Don't worry and I will return as soon as I can. I know aap log mujhe maaf kar doge.

Rahul and Nisha read the letter as well. They just could not comprehend. Is this one of her jokes? No, their Geet can't do a thing like this even as a joke. She is a girl who loves her family unconditionally and can't do such a selfish act.

Raj could not understand. He is an advocate of love marriage himself and is very open minded. Why the hell she did not say anything. He asked Rahul – Who is her BF? I know you two have no secrets. So who is he?

Rahul was just dazed. His sister, his life, who loved him the most ditched him one day before marriage. He just nodded his head and said he has no idea.

Chayyiji got the lifetime chance of rebuking Geet as he was jealous of Geet being the apple of evrybody's eye. She strated wailing for family's honour. "I knew this girl will bring shame to the family. How careless she is. Yehi hota hai itni dhil dene ka natija."

Somewhere in their hearts, Raj, Nisha and Rahul knew that their princess can't do anything like this and probably will have a good explanation behind this. She was a girl with high values and loved her family a lot. But they could not say anything openly and do nothing more than just wait for her return.

After lot of discussion, stunned Raj, Nisha and Rahul decided to go ahead with the marriage and attribute Geet's absence from marriage to a very important client meeting in London.

They knew tongues will wage even after this but they were least bothered. They just prayed for Geet's safety and her return.

Hi dear, I don't know how many people are following your story, but believe me it is getting exciting and interesting, I like the twist and turns in your story and Geet's character and her bonding with family.
