Maan smirked. Every one of them. Total Numbers of girl in college – 67. No of girls worth dating – 52. Number of girlfriends – 47 because the last one stole my heart and I am a converted man. And my darling must be waiting for me; so bye see ya at hostel later

Maan quickly moved to the partying crowd searching for his Jaan….She looked beautiful and regal in a black knee length dress. Maan couldn't remove his gaze from her face.

1:00 AM Boy's hostel –

Hello (mumbled and jumbled)

Maan throws the phone away and continues his kiss. His one hand is in Samira's hair and one caressing her thigh thru the dress. He inches his hand upwards and starting stroking her on top of her inners while kissing her passionately. Samira moans and puts her hand in back pockets and presses him from behind on to her more tightly. He is completely turned on is very close to loosing it all but remembers he has some important and happy news to share with his Jaan.

He disentangles himself from Samira and - I have something important to tell you. You are going to be so happy baby that we can continue after that.

You remember I had applied for a research lab post in Switzerland. I got the approval today. After my exam I will be going to Switzerland to pursue research.

But why will you want to do that…I mean you already have job in AIIMS and other top hospitals. Why do you want to waste your career in research?

Maan was very offended. But you said that you are ok with it when I applied

I did not want to break your heart but I never thought you were serious.

Well I am serious. This is what I want to do. I am fascinated by nemocytis and want to take part in this research for better results.

But what about the money?

I don't care….I have my entire life to earn that….come on babes understand…..i really want to do this. It is a two year research project and I am really excited to be part of it.

If you don't get a god practice now, you will always remain behind. I am sorry but for me my career and money is very important. You have to choose between me or this stupid project. And don't think I will wait for you for two years. It is not happening. I am with you because you are the most popular guy but a researchist….uggh….

Love and Maan Singh Khurana…Do you even know how many girlfriends you have had…

But I have been faithful to you and you know it….I never cheated anyone…They all knew what they were getting into….You are the only one I committed myself to….

4 years later………….

Maan is at the breakfast table having his breakfast.

No time mom….i have a surgery in 45 mins…Bye…Maan rushed out with a toast in his mouth

Rishab sighed seeing his son. He was happy on one side that his son was now a world famous surgeon. He always had the brains and his research with his swiss partners had lead to a breakthrough. Because of this he was a hot contender for Nobel prize in medical this year.

But along the line he had lost something big. He has lost the warmth and zeal towards the life along with his music. He had not touched his Guitar since then. Although Rishab hated Maan's flirty ways and still maintained that Samira was a bad influence but he couldn't help seeing the lonelinees which his son had wrapped himself in after she left him high and dry. Maan kept himself busy and surrounded with work and being a leading surgeon at Leelavati hospital, Mumbai didn't help either leaving hardly anytime for himself.

Rishab just looked at Babaji and asked for an angel who can save his son and bring back the music, warmth and soul back in his son's dull life. He needed his life's song back.
