Geet continued, "sir,i know,u r not interested in this marriage. neither me too.bt we have to do this to save Dadima's life.i promise u,i won't expect anything from this marriage".
Maan always wondered what kind of bond geet and dadi shared. dadi loves geet too much sometimes more than her love 4 maan. hence dadi was so stubborn tht maan should marry geet even knowing his failed relation with Sameera.maan protested but failed 2 convince dadi. so agreed bt b4 tying the knot he wanted 2 clear some matters with geet. bt when geet told all those words he was not sure how to react.

Maan composed himself and asked Geet, "how can i trust u?. i don't believe women". geet wasn't surprised @ this as she knows her dust danav boss very well(she works in KC for the past 3months after completing BBA) and how much he was hurt when sam left him.(geet didn't have any clue of the fact that sam was after maan's money. that is why he broke up with her & he would never forgive sam.) inspite of knowing that she has no place in maan's life geet was ready 4 this marriage because of dadi.geet replied,sir, what shoud i do 2 make u trust me.he thought 4 a while told abt d contract.

Maan told her "u have to sign a contract agreeing tht u would go away from my life whenever i want". geet agreed without any 2nd thought."mujhe mansur hai sir,par ek shrat hai." maan saw her questioningly n she continued "i too would be happy to leave u anytime bt it shouldn't be a problem for dadi.when dadi has no problem with me leaving u i would do it.after all this shadi is 4 9the sake of dadi." he agreed&wonderd what this girl is made of.she is ready 2 do anything 4 my dadi. he was also hurt by her words"i too would be happy 2 leave u".he couldn't understand why he felt so hurt

When Geet was singning d contract,maan tried 2 read her face bt he couldn't find any signs of regret in it.after she left maan was starring the contract blankly n he sensed something is bothering him on the corner of his heart bt he was nt sure what was that.
maan n geet decided to keep their shadi as a low key affair as they r sure tht this bond is not going to last forever(may be they r wrong).they convinced dadi quoting geet's higher education as an excuse(geet is planning to do MBA next yr) n told dadi tht we can reveal our shadi 2 outside wolrd after geet finish her studies.

Dadima agreed reluctantly.she was happy tht maan agreed 2 this shadi atleast.she informed about maan's shadi to his sis anne,bro dev,his wife NT who were living in canada.they cudn't believe at first tht maan agreed for shadi bt all were happy.
geet's elder bro ajay wasn't happy about this shadi because he felt tht khuranas are too rich 4 geet's family n maan is so arrogant&geet can't be happy with him.ajay remembered how much his father loved geet n wanted ajay 2 treat her like a lil angel in their family.when his father died in an accident 3yrs ago,ajay promised 2 himself......

Ajay promised to himself i won't let my sister to face any prolem in her life. i will do anything for her happiness.till date he kept his promise.finally geet's mom and ajay's wife archana (she loves geet very much n both share a strong bond) managed to convince ajay saying tht dadima is their longtime family friend and she likes geet very much n maan respects dadi so there won't be any problem for geet.he agreed halfheartedly but decided 2 talk 2 maan.
ajay was sitting infront of maan&he could sense that ajay was too upset with this shadi proposal.ajay told i am nt happy with this
