hey i guess somehow you misunderstood me. i dont think mayank is an angel. nor i think he's totally right. all i'm saying is he could be right. and deserves a chance to explain. and dear you're repeatedly saying that he's lied which he hasnt. he's just hidden a truth. all i'm saying is that the truth of him should be revealed. if he's wrong and nupur rejects him i've no problem with that what so ever.
besides what does nupur know about tanmay? nothing! can you being nupur,guarantee that he hasnt got a story just like mayank? or who knows even worse than that?
life is not an assuming game dear. where you just assume what you like. cuz thus you close the door towards the truth, be it sweet or bitter. i just wish nupur never regrets her decision which i'm sure she will later if she doesnt hear out mayank.

Hey Roshnee..not sure if the above was addressed to the writer but I would still quote it. First of all, did I say he lied? ermmm...nope! I said "he hid crucial facts about himself" and there are so many instances where I owe you an explanation.

Instance 1: Hiding the truth and Lying is two different things...agree. But to hide a truth for a prolonged period you will have to lie. And when you lie, you prevent the truth from being revealed. So eventually, they both go hand in hand but they are definitely not the same thing.

Instance 2: I think you asked me once if I were ever in love would I not lie if I had a fear of losing that person. The answer is NO, I wouldn't lie or hide facts. Because I love that person so much that I cannot bear even the thought of it that how shattered she would be when she finds out the truth (btw "she" as a pronoun is used here deliberately). Plus if I tell her the truth now..something that involves our relationship, she has an equal right to make an informed decision with all facts in hand. Why should I lead her with partial info and take her at a stage where she is so much in love with me that she has to either sacrifice something in her life to give way to her heart? How selfish can I be? Was Mayank not least worried how shattered Nupur will be if and when she comes to know about Simran? Does he not care about her? Roshnee, when it comes to hiding truth or lying, there is an expiry date on it. You may have a valid reason to hide facts or lie but sooner you come up with it yourself better because then you stand a chance to explain. But if the same truth comes from someone else, it makes you a liar! Doesn't matter if you hid the truth or lied.

Instance 3: if you love someone but lie OR hide the truth there must be a reason. haan bhai..aajkal to EVERYTHING IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR k naam pe sab chalta hai. lie or hide facts, make her fall in love with you aur ekbaar phans gayi to she will absorb any bitter truth about you...so no worries. Go ahead...baad ka baad me dekha jayega. Right?

Instance 4: Should Nupur hear him out? I agree with you here. I, also think she should. per bewkuf ki aqal ghass charhne gayi hai. She is not thinking straight! But there are people like her Roshnee. She is hurt...vulnerable now. She would rather destroy herself with her own bare hands than give Mayank another chance to hurt her again. This is who she is...how do I calm her down?

Above and beyond all this, somehow, I do agree with your first comment on this part. Wishful thinking you have but whenever I think like Nupur, I just can't forgive Mayank! I just can't!!!

Same goes to Tanmay...he is what Nupur can see. And his character is clear. He is helpful, protective and supportive. Nupur can see him...his behaviour, can feel his warmth. But Nupur is so blind in her love and hatred and confusion and what to believe and what not, she can't see Tanmay's feelings. She only sees a friend...And if Nupur can't see his love...I can't see either. Hence my question...shall I make her take that blindfold off of her eyes so that she can clearly see and think! meri Nupur bewkuf sahi per jazbati hai. I just want her to make the right decision. Mayank has dug his own grave by hiding from her...now its up to her. If she can pull herself together to face any answer that he may give, either in her favour or not, then fine! But do you as a reader think she should take that risk? Why are you guys assuming your Mayank is an angel? You don't know anything about him...those words could be a lie!! who can vouch for them? Nupur??? LOL..but his marriage with Simran is a fact..the whole world knows that. So yeah...choose!

Because some people ARE thinking like Nupur...both parties are right but I believe those who are placing them in Nupur's moments now will make a better decision for her than the others. Laiba, Jiya, Fiza, Mahak, Naz, Tashu I am yet to hear from them 😊 They are my Nupurs in Intikhaab. I wish I could call upon Maria, Nivi, the Divis, Aru and my Jaana ...but I lost them somehow ..*sigh*.

and i dont think i've ever said anything like everythings fair in love and war and lie and make someone fall and she'll take all your rubbish. cuz i dont think everythings fair in love and war.in fact the word-fair, it doesnt make any sense in reality. ok let me be nupur for some time. now, i believe i've been cheated by the person i love. but that doesnt make tanmay an option! i dont feel anything for him.nor i know that he does. so even if hate mayank now and i dont want to hear him out and all, still i'm not gonna fall for tanmay.
now back to me. see you've said that nupurs akal ghas charne gayi hain and i agree. or she wouldnt ever fall in love with someone she barely knew on the first place. and thats why i think nupurs heart would want to go back to him repeatedly. because a girl like her can never love someone else in her life ever.
and dear you said theres an expiry date for hiding a truth, yes i agree. there is. but who decides if the date was expired? so far i remember it was just after mayank proposed to her she got the card and the heartbreak.

you know i dont know if you're writing this from a real incident or what but i feel that as a writer you're being biased to mayank in your writers notes. if you become a reader for once and look at it from the place i see this, you'll see that i barely know mayank and tanmay. perhaps i know mayank even a bit more than tanmay. so if tanmay gets the benefit of doubt then why not mayank?
what has he done that wrong that we have to assume everything negative about him?
i remember once writing about how people misinterpret friendship as love. those are the people i pity the most. and nupur is a character i love so much that the last thing i'd ever wanna feel about her is pity.
