He kept a old newspaper clipping of her parents being criminals on her desk and also the part where the leader of the criminal gang Brij had declared that he had got them killed and will make there daughter suffer when he finds her. The truth of the matter was no news like this was ever printed. Armaan using his technologies and contacts managed to make a false newspaper clipping for his plan to work.

Geet walked into her cabin smiling like nothing ever happened. She decided she had to talk to Armaan first. She knocked on Armaan's cabin door he allowed her in.

Thank God she thought to herself that everyone thinks she was a orphan except a few people, Vikrant uncle Maan, and sister Maria and Pinky. Only Vikrant and Sister Maria knew her parents. Geet started crying at the facts of her parents past had suddently put a cloud over her future. Armaan seeing Geet in tears walked in and asked her the matter, she told him everything. He put a comforting hand over the shoulder and told her not to worry he is there for her. Then he suddently looked at Geet and said

Geet was confused, she trusted everyone easily, she trusted Maan and Pinky, and sister Maria who was her confidante, but why did the man say not to trust anyone. Geet decided to keep mum and not talk to anyone about the newspaper or phone call. She had to find out the truth. But she knew one thing, it wasn't Armaan playing jokes and he was a business man why would he work for Brij. He was a well respected man who had so much money and he wouldn't stoop that low. Armaan, Geet thought was the only person she could trust at the moment.

The seed of suspicion had been planted in Geet's mind. She couldn't trust anyone. As she walked out of the office that evening she kept looking backwards and forwards to see if anyone was following her, but there was no one. Geet went to Maan who was waiting for her and sat in his car. She didn't say anything. It was unusual for Geet to be quiet.

When Maan and Geet reached home that evening, Geet ate her dinner in silence.
