Mysterious Love

Geet-A young orphan girl who spent most of her life after the death of her parents at the tender age of 12 in the orphanage. Currenly aged 19. Studying and living alone in a apartment.

Maan: A human rights activist. Wherever the police fails Maan and his gang kill or remove criminals of the street. Age 23

Part 1

Geet was sitting in the auto waiting to arrive at the orphanange that evening. It was nearly dark and a gentle breeze was blowing moving her hair. Geet smiled and looked at the sunset. She thought about her life and how she is moving forward. Geet Handa her name was. Sweet shy and always talkative. When she used to live in the orphanage sister Maria used to call her non stop blabber mouth. Geet smiled at her memories at the orphanage. The sky kept changing colours as the sun started to melt and turn into darkness. Geet wearing a simple salwaar kameez was happy. She had finally passed her exams and with full marks. She was happy and she had secured a few interviews as well. She had gone to the sweet shop earlier in the day and brought 2 boxes of sweets. She wanted to share her happiness with the orphanage who were her only family. She looked at the time on her watch and realised it was nearly 7pm. She asked the auto driver how long it would take and he smiled at her and said

'bas tori deer bitiya. Aaj aap bohot kush hai' Geet smiled at the auto driver. He was her friend and lived near her home. She thought of him as a uncle.

'Jee chacha. Apko pata main exam main pass hogaye aur jaldi mujhe job bi mil jayenge' Geet smiled and expressed her happiness. The auto driver turned back and said to her

'jeeti rao betiya main tumhari liye bohot kush hu' the auto driver smiled at her. She thanked him. The auto driver stopped near the orphanage and Geet told him not to wait as she will be spending the night here. She smiled took blessings from him and started walking towards the orphanage. The orphanage was a walk away but no cars could get there. She started to walk slowly when out of no where she heard gun shots. Geet got scared and saw on either side of her there were men shooting at eachother and Geet was in the middle. She turned to scream and when a arm pulled her out of the way. She screamed when a hand clasped her mouth. Geet dropped the sweet box and her dupata fell off. The arm dragged her and hid her behind a tree with the person laying on top of her. The scene was like this. Geet back towards the tree. The stranger leaning towards her pushing his chest upon her. Geet closed her eyes in fear. She then opened it and looked up to see a staranger holding her there. He had gripped her tightly using his chest. He motioned her to be quiet. Geet looked down in fear. Without warning the stranger took out his gun and shot a few bullets behind the tree. Geet closed her eyes in fear and clutched his shirt tightly. The stranger then looked at her and Geet opened her eyes to see a Man looking at her. Her eyes were locked into his and his into hers. He was wearing blue jeans and a black tank top. He had dark brown eyes which were locked into Geet's light chest nut eyes. They both stared at eachother when he reaslied what he was doing and stepped back. Geet looked around and quickly covered her chest realising she did not have her duppata. The stranger turned around and saw her dupatta lying on the floor. He smiled at her innocence. He gave her duppata to her. She thanked him with her eyes. After a while the bullets stopped and it was quiet. Another man came running up to them and said

'Chief saari admi marchuke aur kuch bagayee.' Then the person looked at Geet and said

'Maan Sir yeh ladki neh aapko dekliya ab kya kare. Issi humne leekarjana hoga yaha seh agar is ne kuch kehdiya kisi ko ya police ko phir'

Geet looked at shock at both the men and fear started to consume her.

Part 2

Geet looked at both men conversing and decided this would be the right time to run. She was scared seeing the bullets hearing gun shots a unknown man touching her. Before she knew it she was running. Maan turned around to see Geet running away. He signalled to his men to go and he will catch her. Geet didn't stop running. She turned and saw a faint figure following her. She gasped.

Babaji please meri maadat karna. Geet was frightened what if he caught up with her what would happen would she live would she die? Would she be abused?. She turned around to see how far he was. Maan was looking at her running and thinking he had to stop her. What if she told the police?. Geet was now close to the orphanage. She walked up to the steps. She rang the bell. Geet was out of breath. She waited for someone to open the door. She turned around and saw Maan was pretty close to her. She quickly hid behind a pillar. Geet was scared and praying hoping he had not seen her hide. She was breathing heavily. Scared for her life. She was begging and hoping that he had gone away. Geet's salwar kameez was torn in some places too where the hedges had ripped it. Sighing relief when she saw no one behind her or around the orphanage she breathed normally happy to be free. She was about to turn when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She screamed and turned around when she stopped and fell silent. She looked at the person and her eyes turned from fear and relief. She breathed as a sigh of relief.

'Geet betey kya hua tum itni zor seh kyun chillayi' asked sister Maria comforting her. Geet didn't know what to say she didn't want to tell her someone was following her or what happened to her just now. She decided for her own safety it was better she kept quiet.

'Nahi kuch nahi Maria aunty. Mujhe laga koi aur hai. Woh apko to pata hai na Dev kabse mere picha kar ra ha hai. Mujhe laga ausi pata chal gaya main yaha hu' Geet lied through her teeth. It was true that Dev had been following Geet asking her to marry him which Geet had refused. He had followed her a few times but Geet always took her friend Pinky or the auto uncle with her wherever she went. Knowing she was protected Dev stopped following her.

'tik hai Geet tum ab chalo andar aajao. Tumhari kapri bi pata hua hai'

'jee'. Geet followed sister maria into the orphanage. Before she closed the door she saw him. She saw Maan staring at her. He pointed to his eyes and her. He warned her with his gun to keep quiet by putting the gun pointing towards her and a finger on his lips. Geet gasped and in fear closed the door. Maan angered by no response thought about what his worker said. He will have to talk to this girl.
