Part 10

M stares at his bandage and keeps thinking about what is happening to him.
The day goes by...everyone goes home, and as usual Pr takes G home which is again witnessed by M... who tries to avoid his feelings.

The next day, M hasn't come to the office yet (its like 11:00am). G keeps wondering why he hasn't come yet. Just then Pr comes and sees a worried look on her face.

Pr: G kya hua
G: uhhhh kuch nahi woh mein bas yehi soch rahi thi ki MK ab tak aaye nahi.
Pr: haan. roz toh time par aate hain.

A comes in and joins in their conversation

A: zaroor kuch hua hain....
G: woh kal... umm
Pr: (looks at her) kal ? kal kya
G: uhh ... (she tells them what happened)
A: wow ... im mean woah .... yeah toh pehli baar hua hain....
Pr: tumhe kya lagte hain...MK kis par ghussa the ki unho ne pura glass todh diya...
A and G: pata nahi

Someone calls A and he leaves G's office ....

Pr: toh G mujhe yeh batao ... ki uss insan ke baad tumhe kissi se pyar hua aur kya tum kabhi shaadi karogi?
G: (shocked)
Pr: ummm agar tum iss ka jawab nahi dena chahti toh koi baat nahi..
G: ab tak toh aisa kuch nahi hua ... aur shayad na hi kabhi hoga aur rahi shaadi ki baat toh ek shaadi ne mujhe itna dukh diya ke shayad mein kabhi... (pauses and doesnt say a word)
Pr: (he understands her silence) par kyun ... G tum kya puri zindagi akele apne bacche ke saath bitayo gi ... usse bhi toh ek pita ka naam aur pyar dena hoga na.
G: mujhe iss duniya se ladhna hain aur yaha akele jina hoga ... aur waise bhi mein kissi aur ki zindagi kyun barbad karoon....
Pr: lekin... (interrupted)
G: please Pr mujhe iske bare mein aur kuch nahi sunn na.... ummm tum batao, kya tumhe kissi se pyar hua hain?
Pr: (looks at her and gives her a smile) haan
G: (happily) kiss se ...
Pr: hain koi ...
G: kaun ..... batao na ...plzzzzzzzzzz (getting all excited)
Pr: uska naam Pragati hain....
G: pragati..wow.... photo hain
Pr: haan... (takes out his wallet and shows her picture)
G: yeh toh kitni khoobsurat hain..... kya woh delhi mein hain
Pr: nahi .. woh actually bombay mein reh ti hain waha woh ek company mein kaam karti hain... lekin kuch dino mein woh yaha anne wali hain ... uski company ki yaha ek branch kholli hain aur usne yaha apna transfer karwaliya...
G: yeh toh bohot accha hua .....
Pr: aur mein usse propose bhi karne wala hoon...
G: really ... yane mein jaldi tumhari shaadi attend kane waali hoon ... hain na
Pr: haan ... lekin sirf attend nahi tum toh poori shaadi hi organize karne waali ho..
G: (gives him ) Kya... meine toh socha ke atleast tumhari shaadi par mein much enjoy karrongi lekin tumne toh sara kam mujh par dal kar , sara maza kharab kar diya...
Pr gives this evil but cute smile and then starts .. ... and G also starts to laugh....

Pr: G lekin mujhe tumhari madat chahiye...
G: madat.... thik hain ...bolo
Pr: mujhe actually botoh ghabrahat ho rahi hain aur bohot nervous hoon ...
G: kis liye...
Pr: usko propose karna hain na toh todha sa nervous hoon
G: (gives out a little laugh) toh iss mein main kya madat kar sakti hoon
Pr: um mujhe sirf thodi si practice ki zaroorat hain ... iss liye kya tum pretend kar sakti ho ki tum pragati ho aur mein usse propose kar raha hoon.
G: what? nahi nahi mein yeh nahi kar sakti
Pr: dekho tumne abhi kaha ke tum meri madat karo gi ... aur ab..
G: lekin mein kaise ... nahi nahi
Pr starts to sing "Prem ki nayya hain Geet ke bharose apni e nayyiya ko par tu lagayi le"

The office ppl start to peek into G's office to see what is going on
G: thik hain ...thik hain ... Plz gana band karo
Pr: great ... tum yahi ruko mein woh ring lekar aata hoon ..

Pr runs to his office gets the ring and is heading back to G's office when he bumps into M, who has just entered and is going to his office. The ring case fall and opens .... Pr quickly picks it....

Pr: sorry sir...
M: (angrily) Pr yeh office hain koi race track nahi jaha tumhara jab mann chahe daudne lag jao...
Pr: sorry sir ...woh mein
M: i dont wanna hear it ... jao yaha se
Pr: yeh sir

Pr goes from there and M goes to a conference room and starts working there because there was going to be a meeting with his clients in a few hours ... he is doing some work when he notices that he doesnt have a particular file ...

M: lagta hain file G ke paas hain ... usko phone karke lane ko kehta hoon ... (picks up the phone but then puts it down) nahi mein khud jaata hoon, aur mere office kuch aur file bhi le aata hoon...

M heads down to G's office...
Meanwhile Pr comes to G's office ..

Pr: G .. yeh dekho, mein yeh ring usse dene wala hoon
G: arre wah yeh toh sach mein bohot acchi hain ...
Pr: really thanx... ummm ab kya mein practice kar sakta hoon ...

Pr kneels down on his knees and tries to propose the first time but doesnt work... he tries the 2nd time but that doesnt work either .... M gets out of the elevator and is walking towards G's office....
Pr tries a 3rd time .... he hold G's hand...

Pr: jab se tum meri zindagi mein ayee ho mujhe aisa bilkul bhi nahi laga ke mein iss duniya mein akela hoon .. tum ne meri zindagi ka khali pan door kiya hain aur mein tumse bohot pyar karta hoon ... (Pr goes down on his knees) kya tum mujhse shaadi karogi...
G: (pretending to be pragati) haan mein karoongi

M who is standing outside G's office, hears and sees the whole scene and is heart broken ... his eyes become moist... he gets this sinking feeling in his heart...
G see's M standing and gets shocked ... G looks at Pr and indicates with her eyes that M is standing outside. Pr stands up ... and the two of them take a few steps away from each other...

G: sir aap... kuch chahiye tha

M who is in a complete shock doesnt hear what G just said...

G: sir ... sir
M: (comes to his senses) haan
G: aap ko kuch chahiye tha
M: haan woh (trying to stay clam, trying not show in his eyes how hurt and heartbroken he is) aaj ki meri sari meeting cancel kar do ..
G: par sir kyun ?
M: (gets angry) jitna kaha hain utna karo ... aur Pr tum yaha kya kar rahe ho tumhe koi kaam nahi hain ...... Pr yaha tumhe salary kam ke liye di jati hain gappe marne ke liye nahi....
Pr: sir mein woh ....
M: like is said i DONT want to hear it .. now GET BACK TO YOUR WORK ...

Pr leaves ... M looks at G with pain in his eyes ... G could sense that something was wrong...
M in a hurry leaves the office and drives off...

G: mujhe aisa kyun laga ke sir andar se roh rahe hain ... pata nahi kyun unki aankho mein aaj ek ajeeb sa dard dekha...

PRECAP: M at a temple thinking about his feelings for G. While G on the other hand is searching for M.
