Chapter 2:
Angad was left there standing, watching his daughter walk away, and thinking about the time how another woman had walked away similarly, the other woman, the love of his life.

Sia and Sur were both standing in a line to get their room assignments. "Sia Sharma. You're on the Gold Hawks team, and you're cabin is on the left side of the camp."
"Sur Khanna, the Blue Jays team, and you're cabin is on the right side of camp" said the camp counselor, as she went down the list of names.
The Blue Jays and the Gold Hawks were the camp's two teams, and whichever team you were assigned to, would be where all you friends were. All your activities were done with the people from your team and there was definitely no mixing of the teams.
However, the Blue Jays and the Gold Hawks were also the camp rivals. They did everything in order to make each other's lives miserable. So it came as no surprise when two weeks into camp, there were rumors that on that Thursday night, something BIG was going to happen, some HUGE prank.

Meanwhile, Sia's Anjali Bua had decided to come visit her little niece, whose Dad was pestering her to check on how his little girl was doing.
As she walked into camp, she headed towards the main cabin, to ask the woman if she could see her niece. "Hi. I'm Anjali Khanna, and I'm here to see my niece, Sur Khanna. Could you please call her here?" Anjali questioned the woman at the front desk. However, looking around, she saw Sur playing not 30 feet away with her friends.
She began to walk towards the younger girl, calling out "Sur!" However, the girl, although she turned around to see who was screaming, didn't recognize her and returned to playing with her friends. Anjali grabbed her from behind, picking her up and twirling her around. "Sur! Playing with your bua, kya? You don't recognize me?" she questioned, a smile on her face as she saw her.
The girl in her hands started screaming "Woahhhhh. I'm not Sur or whoever you were talking about. I'm Sia. Sia Sharma" she said, an eyebrow raised, thinking this woman was crazy. In two seconds Anjali's face turned from utter confusion to a complete shock. No Way! This couldn't be happening. Sia and Sur at the same summer camp! "Uh…um…I'm sorry" she whispered. "It's just that you look a lot like my niece" she stuttered, turning and walking away before the tears that were floating in her eyes threatened to spill out.
She needed to tell someone, but who? Her bhaiya? No. He would take out Sur from the camp in anger. Her mother? No way. She would tell everyone? Should she call Kripa Bhabhi? Hmm She would probably react the same way as her brother. Aha! Kavya! That's who she would call, her boyfriend. He would definitely know what to do.
Relief washed over her instantaneously. She wouldn't have to face this problem by herself. Kavya would be there to help her out in how to deal with this. After spending a few hours with Sur, trying to keep Sia out of her mind, Anjali went home, eager to call Kavya and let him know of what was happening.

Kavya was rushing towards his car, trying to get out of the parking lot before the evening traffic hit the roads. Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring. His cell phone went off. Cursing, he picked it up, trying to figure out how to weave through traffic. "Ugh. Who is it?" he barked into the phone, irritation growing by the minute.
"If you don't want to talk, just don't pick up the phone. There's no need to be so rude to me" was the curt reply he got from the caller.
"Ohhhhhhh" groaned Kavya as he realized who was on the other line. "Anjali, I'm so sorry. It's just that ugh I have to get somewhere and there's so much traffic on the roads right now. What happened though? You never call at this time. Anything wrong?" he questioned, concern lining his voice.
"Oh Kavya, everything is wrong" Anjali suddenly wailed. "You know how I told you my brother is divorced and he has a daughter who's at camp in London this summer? I didn't mention that my brother actually had twins, and he only kept one of the girls. The other one is in his wife's custody."
Kavya seemed slightly shocked, but also confused as to why all this even mattered now. "So? How does that change anything?" he questioned.
"Today, I went to meet Sur, and when I got to that camp, I met her! I met the other girl. I thought she was Sur and went to hug her, but she told me that she wasn't Sur. She was some Sharma. Oh Kavya I can't even think straight anymore.." she continued, her voice growing more and more tense. "If either bhaiya or bhabhi comes to know that their other daughter is in the camp, they're going to get so mad…."
Suddenly, Kavya's head started to spin. This all sounded way too much like his sister's story, the divorce, the twins, the separation, the summer camp! In fact he was actually headed to his niece's summer camp to visit her, as his sister had emailed him earlier letting him know that his niece was in London for summer camp and he could visit her if she wanted.
"A..An..Anjali?" he stuttered. "Is your other niece's name Sia Sharma by any chance?" he questioned, praying that she would say no and that this was all a figment of his imagination.
The gasp on the other side of the phone confirmed his suspicions. "How do you know?" questioned Anjali, unable to hide the shock in her voice.
"Because her mother, Kripa Sharma, is my older sister" Kavya said quietly, his voice suddenly dropping as he put every piece together. "I was actually going to go now to visit my niece in her camp."
Anjali was silent for a good 2 minutes, as all this information was whizzing around in her brain. Her boyfriend, Kavya Sharma's sister was her Bhabhi, the woman her brother had been pining away for, for the last eight years. WOW!
"Anjali?" questioned Kavya, a slight hesitancy in his voice.
"Come home immediately after you visit Sia. We need to talk" came the paused reply, before he heard a "See you soon" and the click of the receiver. The call had ended.

Two hours later, Kavya was racing to Anjali's apartment after spending some wonderful time with his niece, the girl he hadn't seen in over six years. He was shocked to see how much she looked like the pictures of Sur that Anjali had shown him, yeah they were definitely twins.
He knocked on Anjali's door to have her open it almost immediately, like she had been standing around waiting for him for hours. "Let's go sit down first" said Kavya, as he pulled her in for a hug. "Then we'll discuss everything."
So finally, they were settled next to each other on the sofa before Anjali asked him "Why didn't you ever tell me you even had a sister? I told you everything about my family…" Kavya looked at her sadly before responding "Woh…What it is is that after Di divorced your brother, she broke of all ties with us too. None of us had heard from her in the past six years, and even though we tried to talk to her, contact her, visit her, she never allowed us to do so. In all honesty, we barely have any clue as to where she lives today. All we know is that it is somewhere in the US."
Tears had welled up in his eyes as he thought of his sister, but Anjali had more questions. "Wait. If you talked to her when she was married, why didn't I ever see you…and why didn't you recognize my bhaiya when he came to visit?" she questioned, confused once more.
"That's nothing serious. I was just busy with work and I didn't have time to come down to visit di or the kids or jiju, that's all. I was going to come down to India one summer, but that was the year they got divorced and well, I never had the opportunity to know Angad as my sister's husband."
Sighing, he continued, "I was shocked when she emailed me earlier telling me I could see Sia. Otherwise, she never responds to my million and one emails…"
Suddenly it dawned on Anjali, "What if Sia and Sur meet? What'll happen then?"
Smiling, Kavya replied, "If they both are at the same camp having traveled half the world, then it's in their destiny to meet, and possibly even unite their parents…."
"Hmm. Only time will tell…." Replied Anjali, as she leaned into Kavya, and put her head on his chest. "Just time…."
