Everyone left the room.
" Captain Salve" , Naina said glowering ," Thank you so much. Aapke good wishes sach mein mere bahot kaam aaye. Well....but main aapke liye aisi koi wish nahi karungi. Kal taiyyari karke aana."
Salve was speechless. She just left the court room in anger.
Naina was congratulated by an enthusiastic Abhi.
" Naina...hum bahot khush hai. Aap nahi jaanti jab humne yeh jaana ke aap Raj ko defend karegi, toh hum kitna darr gaye the. Parr..ab hume yakeen hai. Aap KMA ko hi nahi balke hamare dost ko bhi insaaf dilayegi."
She nodded in " thanks."
She was smiling ....as Abhi mentioned his wish to prove Raj innocent.
Gunny shook hands with her ," Great going Partner !"
Naina smiled genuinely at that.
" Mujhe tumhe ek bahot hi zaroori information deni hai." , he whispered and Naina nodded.
Abhi, " Ab aage kya karna hai, Naina ."
" Oh ! Lets go. Show must have begun." , Naina said.
When they neared administrative area, they saw a huge commotion.
Even Lala couldn't pass and waited for the area to clear up.
Huge number of young boys and girls have gathered to join the academy and were asking for forms.
The whole admission system was turned upside down due to the huge crowd and forms were hardly sufficient for them.( I dont really know the ACTUAL procedure...so I am taking my FULL LIBERTY of being a FICTION writer and apni manmaani kar rahi hoon...bear wid me plz !)
Well....Pooja's Hockey team had managed to smuggle their team members and other college students to join the academy.
Those who genuinely wanted to join were ahead in the queue and some of them managed to get the forms, while others were just to play the ' act '.
Maj. Nair was furious on the guards , who let all of them in.
Well....the guards were already managed by Huda.
Some of them genuinely loved Captn. Rajveer and KMA and wanted to contribute to save them....
Some hated Muchchad....
Some loved " Gandhi chaap Hari patti " , that Huda and Yudi gave them.
And those who don't fall in any of these categories, were tricked by suriji to other works and areas of Academy.
There was no question of Abhi helping Muchchad to control the situation; actually, Abhi was gaping at the site he had never seen before.
Roma shetty, the news reporter for a famous news channel and honourary columnist for Times and India Today, had used all her contacts in every form of media so as to give today's matter a wider publicity.
Well...she was waiting for Lala to arrive.
Time being, they covered up the commotion gathered for the admission.
" Hum iss waqt Ambala ki Kanchanjunga Military Academy mein hai. Jaisa ki aap dekh rahe hai, Yaha youngsters ka mela laga hua hai. Woh sabhi academy mein admission chahte hai. Aisa nazara na kabhi dekha aur na phir kabhi dekhne ko milega. Academy ke Principal se baat karte hai....
Reporter :- " Sir, Yaha itne bachche aaye hai, unn sabko forms kyu nahi diye jaa rahein hai."
MN :- " Yeh ek Army institute hai. Yaha aane ke liye Entrance test aur kaafi conditions poori karni padti hai."
R :- " Exactly sir. But yeh sabhi bachhe unhi Entrance test ke form lene aaye hai."
MN :- " Yaha kisiko bhi aise hi admission nahi diya jaata. Soldier ban na sabke baski baat nahi."
R :- " Ek taraf toh aap Minister Gehlot ke Academy bandh karne ke faisle ka yeh kehkar samarthan karte hai ki yaha jyaada log admission nahi le rahe aur ek academy chalalne mein bekaar country ka paisa waste ho raha hai. Aur doosri taraf aap admission dene ke liye taiyyar nahi hai....aap kya kehna chahenge iss baat par?"
MN :- " No comments."
R :- " toh jaisa ki aapne dekha, yeh double standards khele jaa rahe hai desh ki sabse behtareen military academy bandh karne ke liye. Kanchanjunga Military Academy se Cameraman Susheel ke saath main hoon Rahul sharma, Aaj tak."
Abhi was speechless....
Gunny was smirking and Naina was happy.
They entered a room with Lala and Naina acted best as if to make him comfortable. She offered him water.....
Well there was dual motive behind her offering him water.
She wanted to prepare this so called mentor of Rajveer for " Zor ka zhatka"...
"Well, itna to taras khaa hi sakti hoon main. After all, you supported Sir at one time , though with ulterior motives." , thought Naina.
Naina indicated Gunny to on the TV after checking the time.....
Every channel was broadcasting interview of " youths" that Yudi had managed to capture and edit with his brand new Handy cam and had sent to all TV stations.
" Hum KMA Ko bandh nahi hone denge!"
" KMA desh ki sabse behtareen military Academy hai...woh kaise bandh ho sakti hai!"
" Ministers toh aate jaate rahenge....parr woh sachche soldiers jo desh ki raksha karte hai...those are priceless."
" Dude.....F*** (beep) those bl*** (beep)ministers and to hell with their politics! KMA is not gonna close man!"
" Meri maano toh inn saare ministers ko Hind mahasagar mein phenk do. kamse kam machliyon ka toh pet bharenge!"
" Inn ministers ke gandi rajniti se tang aagaye hai. Hum bhi dekte hai KMA kaise bandh hota hai!"
" Main kya kahoon...mujhe chain ki neend sona achcha lagta hai. Aur hamare Soldiers ki badaulat main hi nahi hum sab bina kisi tension ke chain ki neend sote hai....main toh KMA ke saath hoon aur un ministers ke against jo hamari raaton ki neend aur din ka chain dono haraam kiye huye hai."
" MAin sab logose, especially women se, appeal karna chahungi ki aao....KMA cadets ka saath do.....hunger strike karo... kuch bhi karo, but haan don't harm National property."
" KMA jaisi academy bandh karne ki sochne waalon ko ulta latkake, neechese mirchi ka dhua jalana chahiye....tab jaakar inki tedh seedhi hogi." (lala gulped at this.)
" Save KMA....save Nation. Abhi itna hi...sorry i'm the head of one of the rally held for saving KMA."
"Our soldier guarded us during war. Now it's our duty to guard them. Just try to close KMA and you will see."
" YO KMA !! We are with you. None of the rascal politician can close you!"
It was more than enough for Lala. He made them shut the TV immediately.
But Gunny Ustad started Radio....
" Ambala ki Akashwaani mein aapka swagat hai. aaj charcha ka vishay hai Kanchanjunga Military Academy. Aaj ki peedhi ka josh hum dekh rahe hai.Parr hame Josh se nahi Hosh se kaam lena hai."
Lala somewhat look better. But he didn't know what magic Huda had done convincing all the 'Taau s'(uncles) and 'Taais'(aunties).
" Toh hum baat karenge hamare buzurgo se. philhaal hamare saath hai ek caller jo 60 yrs ke hai. Ji sharma ji kahiye.
Sharmaji- dekhiye....main tabse hoon jab china ne bharat pe aakraman kiya. Main uss jung ka bhi saakshi hoon, jab Indiraji nein Bangladesh ki madad ki. Aur...
RJ ;- sharma ji... sharma ji....aapki rai...

Gunny changed frequency.

I am RJ Aditi and you are tuned to Radio MIrchi 98.3 FM, it's HOT....!!! well aaj ka hot hot topic hai KMA....! yes guys KMA ! you know jab main bachchi thi toh meri naani mujhe bahotsi kahaniyaa sunaya karti thi...you know Naani ki kahaniyaa rite? Unn mein bahotsi hoti thi Rana Pratap, Shivaji Maharaj, Prithvi Raj chauhan , and also the Mythological ones including Krishna, Arjuna ,Bhima and Karna.....and bahoooooot saari.Inka naam lene ki khaas wajeh ki ye bahot great warriors the... Well none recognised but the person sitting in a hotel room of Ambala along with Keerti and Lt. Bunty chaube did recognise the voice.
yes....CAPTAIN RAJVEER recognised Mrs. Khullar and burst out laughing.
" Sirjee....kamal ki aunty thi....baapre....poori ki poori academy uske gharwaalon se hi bhar deti."
Raj, still laughing, " Maan gaye Shalini. Meri training waste nahi gayi."
" Dr.Shalini?" , Chaubey asked.
" Haan....Dr. Shalini. Yeh Dr. shalini thi. Jab Naina ko US jaane se rokna tha tab unhone Huda ki maa bankar Naina ke papa se baat ki thi. Maine hi inspire tha...", Raj grinned.
" Sirjee....maan gaye aapko aur aapke cadets ko....specially cadet singh. Wohi master mind hai iski."
Raj smiled and ," TV bandh kyun kiya tune?"
Keerti hid smile as Raj changed the topic.
While a scene in a play group was shown on TV.
" Namaste main is waqt Ambala ki mashoor play group ' The Kangaroo Kids ' mein hoon.
Humne jawano ka josh, bujurgo ka hosh toh dekh liya.... Ab baari hai un nanhe nanhe phoolon ki.....woh jo hamare desh ka kal hai....hamara bhavishya hai..."
**** Some kid is pulling her dress and the news reporter gets disturbed ***

" I'm Chobit Viday Mittal .", the cute boy replied confidently.
" Okay toh Master Shobhit Vijay Mittal( News reporter corrected his words), aap kya kehna chahte hain?"
The Boy kept quiet, when his teacher came.
" Shobhit....Do you want to sing something?"
He nodded.
" Toh chaliye Shobhit, hume aur hamare darshako ko kuch suna dijiye."
And the boy began singing...
" Nanha munna laahi hoon...
deth ha tipahi hoon...
bolo mele shang Jai hind jai hind.."
( Toddler ki totli language denote karne ke liye aisa likha hai. There is no intention to disrespect a patriotic song.)
" To dekha aapne? kistarah bachche bhi....."
And the News went on and on while Rajveer spoke to himself, " Cadet Naina Ah' Singh......I'm proud of you ! "

This was enough for Lala to get up and leave the room to get out of the academy.
While Lala somehow tried to exit, Gunny indicated Abhi to help him and follow him.
Outside, just when Lala came with Abhi, He saw Sameera holding press conference with huge gathering of press reporters of all famous as well as local News channels , News papers and magazines.
Roma shetty was doing a brilliant job interviewing her!
Roma :- " Sameera ji , aapko kya lagta hai kya KMA bandh hoga?"
Sam :- " Jab mujhe kidnap kiya gaya tha toh yaha ke cadets ne mujhe chudaya aur sahi salaamat waapis le aaye. Jo academy itne efficient cadets taiyyar karti hai woh bandh kaise ho sakti hai?"
Roma :- " Parr suna toh yahi hai ki Minister M.D. Gehlot KMA bandh kar rahein hai...."
Sameera :- " Aisa kuch nahi hai."
Roma :- "Aap itne vishvaas ke saath kaise keh sakti hai ?"
sameera :- "Aapko kya lagta hai? Gehlot uncle pagal hai?aaj hi youth ne tv par interview diya hai ke vo KMA ko band nahi hone denge. Jagah jagah rallies, hunger strikes ho rahein hai....yaha academy mein admission ke liye bheed umad padi hai...Agar uncle KMA band karvayege to vo aane vale elections haar jayege kyonki youth ki votes more than 50% hai. Arrey woh dekho Uncle aa gaye"
Sam's part was done....Huda gave her a thumbs up.
Now reporters came to know of Lala's presence . they rushed to him with lots of questions -
"kya sameera sach keh rahi hai?"
" kya KMA k band hone k orders ko rok diya gaya hai?".................
Lala just gave fake smile & before he could answer Ali came from behind .
Ali- " Dekhiye Hum aap reporters ki bahot izzat karte hai. Aap desh waasiyon ke liye information ka zariya hai. Lekin Gehlot sir bhi aadarniya insaan hai. Aap unse izzat se, ek ek karke sawaal poochiye. Yeh defence minister hai aur desh ki military ke liye inke man mein bahot izzat hai."
Roma :- " Cadet...hum minister sahab se bass ye jan na chahte hai kya KMA k band hone k orders ko rok diya gaya hai? "
Ali ( not letting Gehlot to answer) :-" kya aap logo ko lagta hai hamare mantriji itne bevkof hai jo KMA band karvayege? "
Lala didn't say anything and just managed to escape.

He was upset .
So many things happened in such a short time......
He was totally trapped.....
Before he could think what to do Lala's phone rang......
And.... on other side was the Prime minister !
PM- " Lala hum yeh kaya sun rahe hai?"
Lala- " Sir reporters ka kam hi bolna hai..."
PM- " Lala reporters kaa kaam bolna hai...parr yeh jo youth interviews ho rahein hai woh kya hai? Jagah jagah rallies....Hunger strikes....Yeh sab bhi kisika kaam hai kya? aur yeh admission ko lagi bheed?"
Lala :- " Parr sir.."
PM :- " Mujhe kuch nahi pata.... bass mein KMA ke band hone ke orders ko rok raha hu ."
Lala :- "Sir maine aap ko bataya na sarkar ka kitna paisa is mein kharab ho raha hai !"
PM :- " Iss ki naubat to tab aayegi jab humari sarkar rahegi! Aur woh tab hoga jab hum elections jeetenge.Elections sir par hai aur is tarah se youth ka hamare khilaf hona theek nahi.
Lala :- " Parr..."
PM :- " Aur waise bhi bina wajah desh ki behtareen academy ko bandh karwa ke hum desh ki suraksha ke saath nahi khel sakte...."
and the call was cut!

within half an hour every news channel showed only one news....

" Hum dekh rahein hai kaise jagah jagah khushiya manayi jaa rahi hai....patakhe jalaye jaa rahein hai..."
" Ye loktantra ki jeet hai! "

Naina was made to stand in centre....
BC began...

And he was soon joined by everyone....the KMA anthem was sung amidst lot of clappings and cheerings!
BC went forward and gave Naina a fatherly hug.....
He affectionately patted her head....
He hugged Huda , Ali , Pooja and Yudi and asked for Aalekh....to which Abhi made up quickly.

Here in the hotel room, Raj, Chaubey And Keerti broke into huge applaud...
Chaubey :- " Sirjee...aapki Naina singh ne toh kamal kar diya! Lala ke googly par kya Sixer maara hai ussne! Chaa gayi woh toh...."
Raj :- " Aakhir meri prote'ge hai! parr ek baat samajh nahi aayi...."
C :- " Kya sirjee?"
Raj :- " Yeh Lalajee aisa kyun kar rahe hai?"
C :- " Sirjee, meri posting Ladakh mein hogayi thi. Issiliye mere paas toh kuch information nahi hai....bass 2 ghante do....abhi pata chal jayega."
Raj :- " Nahi...mujhe uss ambush ki site par jaana hai. Kuch na kuch suraag toh zaroor mil jayega. Mujhe Naina ki madad karni hogi. Waise mujhe defend kaun kar raha hai?"
C:- " Main aapke saath yaha phasa hu....aur trial badi hi classified chal rahi hai...toh pata kaise chalega."
Raj :- " Hmmm....pehle uss site pe chalte hai....phir kisi tarah Naina ko contact karna padega."

After BC left....
Five cadets, sameera, gunny,suriji & Dr.shalini were in the mess.
All were still cheering for Naina...!
" Phoolan tune kar diya !" , Huda yelled...
" Oye saaddi Naina hai....koi aisa waisa handset nahi..."
Ali :- "Naina , Hume toh bahot mazaa aaya."
Naina :- " guyz tum sab nahi hote toh main kya karti? And...special thanks to my partner....Gunny!"
Abhi :- "Guys... hume ab naina ka khayal rakhna hoga kyunki Lala kuch na kuch to karega ."
Every one nodded in approval.

Few minutes were left to begin the case.....
" Oye Phoolan kahi dikayi nahi de rahi..." , Huda asked concerned.
" Yahi kahi hongi...." , Ali said looking around.
Just then they saw Abhi approaching....
" Yeh jabreela yaha kyun aa raha hai?"
" Huda bhai chup rahiye. Woh hamare sir hai... aur waise bhi abhi bhi Aalekh bhai laute nahi hai..."
Huda shut his mouth at Aalekh's mention....they surely needed this 'jabreela' to cover him up...
" Goodmorning sir." , Both said.
" Very good morning cadets....Naina kaha hai? kya unhone aaj ke baare mein kuch socha hai?"
" Phoolan kaha kuch sochti hai....Jab baat Rajveer Sir ki ho...toh apne aap hi sabkuch hojata hai uss se."
" Baat toh aap theek kar rahein hai Cadet Huda."
Just then pooja came running to them.
" Ali...Ali......woh Naina "
"Cadet Ghai, kya hua hai Naina ko?"
"Kal raat se voh gayab hai ..."
" KYA???" ,All.
"Aur aap hame ab baata rahi hai pooja?" , Ali demanded.
"Phoolan kal raat se lapaata hai aur punjaban tune baataya bhi nahi?"
"How could you do this pooja?? " , Yudi asked.
"Cadets relax... . agar aap pooja ko kuch bolne denge to hi voh bolegi."
"Kal raat dinner ke baad mujhe room me jaakar sleep mode par hone ko kaha aur kaha vo kuch der baad mere coverage me aa jayegi par jab mein subah general mode par hui to dekha Naina out of range hai. uska blanket bhi vaise ka vaisa hi hai. meine use academy mein search karne ki koshish ki par connection nahi juda ."
"Any problems cadets ?" , the cunning Lala spoke.
All turned around to face lala .
"Kya hua cadets? aap log pareshan lag rahe hai..."
"No problem sir..." , Abhi said.
"Waise cadet singh kaha hai. Actually unhe best of luck kehna tha....hamare bete ka case ladd rahi hai woh."
Here,
MN :- "sir mujhe aap se akele mein kuch baat karni hai."
Lala:- "Bolo major "
Nair :-"sir cadet singh kidnap to hui hai par hamare aadmiyon se pehle hi kise ne use kidnap kar liya ."
Lala :- "kisne ?"
Nair :- "Abhi tak pata nahi chala ..."
Lala :- " Tumse koi kaam thikse nahi hota major....Rajveer aur naina ka hamare ilava koi aur dushman bhi hai ?"

It's time for hearing....
Everyone enterened the room...
Soon judge arrived.
But there was no sign of Naina.
capt. salve :- "Pehle cadet Singh case reopen karvati hai... phir khud hi gayab ho jati hai !"
she was interrupted by "EXCUSE ME SIR !!"
And Naina enters followed by gunny.
Naina :- "sir, I apologize for being late."
All her friends and Abhi heaved a sigh of relief....
Naina has glow on her face which was missing from last few months.
Capt. salve was shocked to see such confidence in Naina's voice.
" Chalo...", Salve smirked ," My precious colleague atleast remembered to be present here and did not make us alone ponder over a dead captain...."
" Your Honour, Brigadier Chandok has to say something.",Naina said ignoring Salve.
BC came forward.
" Your honour, After the fateful incidence , Mr. Rajveer singh Shekhawat was in coma...He has recovered from coma a few days back."
This was followed by gasps in the court room. All the Cadets and Abhimanyu had tears of happiness....If only they could jump with joy! Nobody was believeing what they heard...they just wanted to cuddle up together and let their emotions out...they wanted to cry...to wanted to shout...they wanted to laugh and what not !!!!
Lala and Nair were sitting with a face as if they had seen some ghost!
Naina continued, " Main Lft. Bunty Chaube ko witness box mein bulana chahungi."
When Bunty came there....
N :- " Lft. Bunty Chaube, aap Captain Rajveer ko kabse jaante hai?"
C :- " Maine Captain Rajveer ke saath kayi successful missions kiye hai. KMA mein spy ki talaash mein bhi main unhe assisst kar raha tha. Pichle kuch mahino se main Ladakh mein posted tha."
N :- " Aap ko captain kahan aur kaise mile?"
C :- " Captain mere liye ek senior hi nahi balki ek inspiration hai. Toh jab mujhe unki so called death ke baare mein pata chala, mujhe vishwaas nahi hua. Aur jab meri leave sanction hui, toh main Ambala chale aaya, sachchai ki teh tak pahuchne keliye. Yaha aake mujhe kuch aise clues mile jisse yeh saabit hota tha ki captain jinda hai( He looked straight at Naina,while he said last line.).......Phir main captain ko search kar hi raha tha, tab mujhe accidently captain Chandigarh ke ek Hospital me mile. Captain almost 4-5 mahine coma mein the, par fortunately jab main gaya toh woh coma se bahar aa chuke the.Parr woh physically bilkul bhi fit nahi the, issliye...."
BC continued, " Rajveer himself contacted me after his recovery.His doctor, Dr. Keerti gave me the proofs. Mr. Shekhavat has been retrieved and brought to the academy. He is available for the hearing."
J :- " Summon Mr. Shekhavat to the convict's cabinet."
And.....
Naina had tears in her eyes too..but she controlled from falling.
Raj's eyes were fixed on Naina.

Naina got down the side of the bridge right near the spot where the carcass of the burnt jeep remained.
Two people were alerted by her footsteps and hid behind the bushes...
They were observing her...
One of the two had tears in his eyes....

Sach hai..ya khwaab hai koi..
Teri yaadon mein aksar…
Maine palkein bhigoi…
Naina lovingly touched the jeep and caressed the bare rods and wheels....
They bore his last touch......
Tumko chaaha hai maine..
Dil ki gehraaiyon se…
Teri khaatir ladi hu..
Apni ruswaaiyon se..
That person required all the patience he had to control himself.....
Oh! how he wanted to run over to her....
To pull her in to his arms....
to console her...
How the sad and cheerless eyes stabbed him in his heart.....
But he was thankful to god....
Atleast she was there...in front of him....
He could see her.....
He felt like living for the first time in these days....
Maine dekha hi nahi…
Hamnasheen tumsa koi..
Zindagi muskuraayi..
Thoda sa pyaar hua hai…
Thoda hai baaki…
Hum toh chaahenge tujhe…
Jab talak saans hai baaki…
She drew her fingers around the contour of the steering wheel and could feel his strong grip over there.......
Suddenly the desire to be with Rajveer Sir swept over her whole being.
" Pehle yeh sab kitna aasaan tha Sir...." , she spoke as if Raj could hear her , "Jab bhi kabhi mujhe aapki zaroorat hoti, main bina kuch soche samjhe bhaagti daudti aapke paas chale aati.....I used to literally trouble you with my silly questions."
She smiled sadly.
" Aur aap?You had always been so patient with me......Aap hamesha mere saath the......Toh phir aaj kyun nahi?"
Usski aankhen bhar aayi....
She tried controlling them but....
" Aisa mere saath hi kyun hota hai?", she asked looking up at the sky....
The love that before giving her the ecstatic bliss of a new bride, has given her the agonies of widowhood......
"No matter what sir, I will prove you innocent !" , she screamed determined.....
Fire burning in her eyes....
The person gripped his partner's hand tightly.
Then she left the place and started walking towards site of the ambush....near the old fort.
The two persons followed her....one limping and leaning a lot over the other......
The area seemed forsaken by living beings, except for few birds flying over the sky. Naina stopped walking and tried to breathe in the air deep into her lungs, as if she wanted to fill herself with the fragrance of Rajveer still lingering in the air.
Yes, she could feel it.
Naina uss purane fort se guzarte hue khuli jagah mein aayi.
Woh Do log Ped ke peeche chip kar yeh dekh rahe the...
Naina ussi ped ki aur badh rahi thi....
Un dono ko samajh nahi aa raha tha ki woh kya kare ....
and .......she recognized the exact spot where they stood and hugged each other.
Naina fell on her knees at that spot and moved her hands on the ground to feel the place...and then picked up a handful of soil from that spot.
One of the two person too recognised the spot.....
She raised her hand and let the soil freely fall on her head and face to feel the love of Rajveer showering on her.
Usse yaad aaya, kaise Rajveer sir ne na kehte huye bhi sab kuch keh diya tha.
Naina packed some soil from that place....As it was no less important site for her...
Yeh dekh kar uss insaan ki aankho se aansu behne lage......
"
Bas mein hamare woh nahi…" Sirjee...", his partner whispered.
"Huh? Ha..haan?" , Raj said quickly wiping his tears.
" Sambhaliye apne aapko."
" Chaubey...mujhe... mujhe Naina se milna hoga."

Here Naina was lost in her thoughts....
Kaash uss din woh unhe rok leti...
Kyun jaane diya ussne unhe?
She could still feel his trembling hand under her strong grip....
She could still feel how they understood that each of them needed the other. How they came into each others arm . How fiercely they clung to each other.....
How the bullet pierced through his arm but through her heart.....
" RAJVEER SIRRRRRRR" , she screamed breaking out of her dream.
That cry wrenched Raj's heart....
Raj walked forward subconsciously....
