doorbell rings and gunjan goes to open the door and finds mayank standing there!!!

G: mayank...sorry!! .. jiju aap yahan?? is waqt??? sab theek to hai na??

M: haan haan sab theek hai...

G(teasingly): oh acchha...apko di se milna hai na???

M: haan....nahi bas kuch kaam tha....

Gunjan smiles and says-

G: acchha aap andar aayiye naa main unhe bulaati hoon....and turns to go...

M: nahi...usko mat bataana...i'll surprise her....

G: oooooo surprise!!!!.....(smiles)....acchha theek hai nahi bataoongi...

gunjan goes to nupur.....

N: kaun tha gunjan.....

gunjan thinks of some mischief....

G: koi nahi di....salesman tha!!!

N: by god!!! ye salesmen bhi na....subah subah aa jate hai!!!

G: di itni bhi subah nahi hai....10:00 baj raha hai....(suddenly remembers about mayank)..arre haan ek dum se yaad aya...mujhe samrat se milna tha...uska phone aaya tha....(rushing away)....bye di...shaam tak aa jaaongi!!

N: arre sun to...main akeli kaise...gunjan!!!

but gunjan rushed away to the door...and pointing a thumbs up to mayank...

G: all the best!!!

Mayank smiles and quickly moves from there and comes near the kitchen to find a place to hide!!!

N: by god!! ye gunjan bhi na!!...ab main akeli kaise banaaoongi ye khaana..aur phir saara din akeli to pagal hi ho jaaoongi!!!...mayank bhi ghar pe nahi hoga!!

Mayank peeps from his hiding place and looks at nupur....wearing and apron and desperately trying to cook the vegetable....with all sorts of expressions on her face!!

M (to himself): arre wah! isko achaanak se khaana banane ki kaise sooji??

then he takes out the payal from his pocket and looks at it....

M( to himself): lets start the mission!!!

he starts shaking the payal slowly....making sounds of "chhan chhan"...audible enough to nupur...

nupur on hearing the sound...suddenly stopped mixing the vegtables in the pan...and looked up....then looked around to make sure that she heard something....

N: yeh kaii awaaz thi???

mayank repeated the same thing....

this time nupur was sure of the sound....she left her place and looked all around.....but couldn't find it...

nupur was getting terrified....

N: by god!!!..ye monjulika ki aatma kahan se aa gayi?? aur wo bhi din mein??

mayank on hearing this was amused to know that she was feeling scared but then suddenly...

M: isne mujhe monjulika kaha??....pata nahi kaun hai par naam se to koi bhootni lagti hai.....abhi bataata hoon!!!

he then started making the sound more rapidly which sounded like someone wearing the payal was running around....

nupur was extremely terrified and with a frightful look on her face was moving slowly outside the kitchen to look for the source of sound....chanting rapidly " altoo jalaltoo aayi bala ko taal too"

mayank saw her approaching him with her back facing him....he hid himself and waited for her to come exactly in front of him....

nupur slowly drifted just in front of mayank still facing her back....mayank slowly came out grabbed her from her waist from behind....

nupur not knowing who was it....was extremely frightened and started shouting.....

N: aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

mayank not able to bear this noise kept one hand on her mouth from behind.....

M: shhhhhhhhhh!!!

Nupur trying to make sound from under his palm.....

N: uuuummmmhhhhh!!!!..uuuummmmhhhhh!!!!

mayank slowly turned her to face her.....

nupur on seeing mayank suddenly hugged him tightly....she felt really safein his arms....then she broke apart....

N: mayank !! tum kab aaye???...waise acchha hua tum aa gaye...pata hai yahan ek monjulika type ka bhoot(ghost) hai...jo ghonghroo ki awaaz se mujhe darra raha..matlab darrane ki koshish kar raha hai....

mayank didn't like being called a "bhoot"!!

M: haan pata hai....par wo bhoot nahi hai....bhoot din mein nahi nikalte!!!

N: acchha tumhe kaise pata??....kahin wo tum hi to nahi the???

Mayank gave a wicked smile!!! and shrugged his shoulders to say "maybe".....
