Mayank's mother came out of mayank's room. She had a huge smile on her face. She couldn't believe it! She was right! She knew her son was in love for sure now! The way he talked about nupur was just very purely stated by him, she just couldn't believe her son was discovering his feelings that she thought will never be disturbed by anyone. Mayank's mother was totally enthralled and at the same time excited. Holding her hands together she looked upward --- she thought that God please help these two children. I know its love, but I hope they find it out themselves very soon! after all uska mazzaa hi kuch aur hoga. Then turning toward mayank's picture she placed her hands on her hips. "Mayank all the best! (raising eyebrows) Aur bachu zaara mujhse bach kar rehna teri taangon ko ab kaun bachyega? (smiling with love) Par beta I am so happy for u!" After saying this she went to bed with some sort satisfying feeling that mother-bahu want ending feeling, a very content feeling. She tossed and turned in her bed but couldn't sleep and ended up watching dil toh pagal hai that was airing on TV before falling asleep.

Next morning mayank was having his breakfast. While his mother came out from the kitchen with her plate with a huge smile singing "kitne dur dur ho un dono ke raaste, mil jaate hai jo bane ek duje ke vaaste '. Hmmmm'.". When mayank's mother came out singing these couple of lines mayank raised eyebrows at his mother. Mayank thought still eyeing his mother with raised eyebrows what's going on with mom??? So happy? That means she has something to tease me about or to tell me something really good. Nupur ke baare mein jo kal maine maa se baat ki uska funda toh nahin? No mayank, u know ur mom. Mom knew I meant what I said yesterday were genuine feelings like friendship type for nupur not anything more' wait y am I saying mor promotion --- but why is she singing a romantic song? He raised and lowered his eyebrows to his mom as if asking what's up ma? But instead of replying mayank's mom also raised and lowered her eyebrows back at him as if asking what?

M: Promotion mila hai kya?

MM: (looking at mayank with a happy face) aisa hi kuch samajh le.

M: (confused) matlab?

MM: (sitting down next to mayank with her huge smile) mujhe lagta hai thode hi dino mein mil jayegi.

M: (getting happy) sach? Wow maa congrats! Promotion pe promotion.

MM: (narrowing her eyes than widening them) well yeh wala kuch special hai.

M: (happy) special? Well wish u luck maa aap ki promotion jaldi ho jaaye. (Mayank hugs her) Main chalta hoon, otherwise late ho jounga. Woh NU--- (stopped saying anything further) Bye! (While leaving he thought to himself thank God! Bach gaya. Nupur ka naam le leta toh maa shuru ho jaate, par ab tu nupur ke baare mein sochna band kar mayank sharma aur test par focus kar dude! Snap out of it!).

Mayank's mom hugs him and says bye as he hurriedly leaves. Once she sees him exit the house she starts to think out loud. "Bachu! Nupur ka naam le ya na le woh toh tera picha nahin chodegi pyaar mein jo hai tu. Rahi promotion ki baat toh thanks for the luck kyoun ki mein saas kehloon uski mujhe bhi bahut jaldi hai. Hurry my son I am ready for my saasu maa name tag. Laughing to herself she continued with her breakfast.

On the other hand sun's rays hit Nupur's eyes. She stretched and woke up seeing Gunjan ready to leave.

G: Good morning Di.

N: (calmly) Good morning meri sweet si behana.

G: acha di mein chalti hoon meri report due hai aur aaj literature ka new assignment bhi ready kar na hai samrat ke saath.

N: (in her nautaki) samrat ke sang? Hoon is se milna padega jo meri Gunjan ko itna khush rakh raha hai.

G: (shyly) Di! App ko ready nahin hona hai kya? Mein chalti hoon aur gud luck for the test.

Saying this Gunjan left the room, leaving nupur all alone still sitting on the bed lost for a bit. However when she heard the four letter word test every thought shattered. Nupur jumped out of the bed. She was in a freaked state. TEST occupied her mind now. She ran to the restroom to be dressed, grabbed her breakfast and ran straight to the mandir located near her house. She came in front of Bhagwanjee closed her eyes, placed her palms together and started praying. "Bhagwanjee plzzzzzz meri help karna, dekhiye meine itni mehnat kabhi bhi kissi test ke liya nahin ki jitni is mein. PLzzzzz! Mein aapko 1 narial aur 101 rupee ka parsad chadogi".

P (Mandir's priest, smiling at nupur's innocence): Bhagwanjee tumhari ischa zaroor puri karenge, lekin jab parsad chadene aogi tab mann se chadana na ki aise hi. Yeh lo parsad.

Nupur heard the priest's voice and opened her eyes with her tense face. She received parsad from him and was about to leave when she stopped and turned to face the priest again.

N: Punditji?

P: bolo beta.

N: kya app mujhe thoda parsad aur deyenge?

P: kyun nahin yeh lo.

Nupur took some more parsad from the priest and headed toward college to face her challenge the Deodhar TEST.
