I must tell you, I was totally surprised to find your review so soon after I had posted the story...I just finished proofreading the chapter and you had already responded! It was quite exciting. 😃 I'm so glad you liked the jump...I could have shown some of interactions between Aditya-Neelam and Zaid-Hina in that six week period, but I didn't think it would really serve any purpose. I'd rather move on with the story.

Can I first tell you how happy I am that Zaid told Hina how he felt? And that she feels the same? I think they're really cute together. And I love how the friends tease them, and how they are together. This group of friends is more a family than just a group of schoolmates. They're one another's supports. It's wonderful to read a relationship so tight.

Aww, thanks so much! 😃 I really like writing about their couple...especially Zaid's feelings because he's such a sweet character. And I LOVE what you said about the group of friends...I've been somewhat inspired by my own friendships and those portrayed in movies and on shows, but I think ultimately, the dynamics of this group ended up being very different from any other...and I'm thrilled about that.

Hmm, so my guess was way off with Samaira's secret, but the anorexia angle is written very well. And very understandble point of view. I love the fact that she doesn't deny that she has a problem, but rather, is relieved to have her brother there for her. I hope, as her friends may find out, they're equally there for her. I think they will be. It's a realistic angle, especially for someone who loves to have a handle on things like Samaira does.

*Phew* I'm so glad you find it realistic! Honestly, I was quite worried about how this would go down, but fortunately, all the comments are positive so far. Like you said, Samira likes to have a handle on things and believe it or not, anorexia IS in fact more common in people like her. Being able to restrict your eating is just another way to exert control over your own body, so anorexic people are also pre-disposed to having OCD...(sound familiar?) Sorry...I had to bring some of my medical knowledge here. 😛

Neelam's burgeoning confidence is astounding. And oh so wonderfully written! Her ease and openness with her friends is very well-written, though I'm pretty sure she'd never dump a glass of water over just anyone. She's not that out-going and bold. She'd do it to Adi because he's her friend, and to maybe some of the other guys in the group, because they're that close. But no one else. Same with how frank and comfortable with them. I love it!

Agree with you completely...When someone is around a group of people for so long and connects with them so well, shyness is not really a factor anymore...

And is Adi already feeling something for Neelam? Seems like Samaira may be spotting something there! Not quite...I think you might have misunderstood what the word 'match' meant in this situation, which I totally understand since 'match' is usually associated with relationships. As I now clarified within the text of the story, what Samira really meant is that Aditya found his equal when it comes to pranks and such. Hope that clarifies it...

What accident was Rehaan in? Something to do with Zeenat? Did I miss something there?

I am so looking forward to Deepali and Karan interaction next part! And I'm glad Adi and Hina are becoming friends. Especially considering that Hina is now with Adi's best friend. Yusof and Aisha next bit as well? I cannot wait!
