PART 2:
Nikki and Abhi made their way in Akash's house.
"Abhi baby!" a voice called.
Nikki looked at a girl wearing a short, red tube dress. She made her way to Abhi and hugged him. Paying no attention to Nikki standing beside holding his hand, the girl gave Abhi a peck on his cheeks.
Nikki gave Abhi a deathly look and pulled her hand away from his.
"Excuse me!" she exclaimed looking back at the girl.
The girl looked from Abhi to Nikki as Abhi bit his lip. "Umm…" the girl started. "Aap kaun?"
"Oh…no one special…" Nikki said smiling. "Just Mrs. Nikita Abhimanyu Modi."
Abhi sighed as the girl's eyes widened.
"Abhi!" she exclaimed. "Tumne shaadi karli?! When? How?"
"Payal…" he started. "Calm down. One by one…please. Humari shaadi 9 mahine pehle hui thi. Aur what do you mean by how?"
Payal laughed. "Sorry yaar. Maine kabhi nahi socha tha ke tum..ek play boy…koi ek ladki ko chun sakoge."
"Waise…" Payal continued. "Not a bad choice. Tum bahut lucky ho Nikita. Ketni ladkiya iski wife baneke sapne dekh rahi thi college mein."
Nikki sarcastically smiled. Abhi knew this idea wasn't a good one. Coming back to Mumbai wasn't a good idea at all. They had gotten married in Delhi, the city they had met each other. But after Abhi got a chance to work in Sanjeevni, they moved back to Mumbai where the two had graduated from Grad College.
Nikki gave Payal a sarcastic smile and pulled Abhi away.
"Yeh kaun hai? Aur usne tumhe kiss di?"
Abhi looked at Nikita and couldn't help smiling. She looked so adorable yelling at him. But what could he do? All these girls had known him since they had gone to Grad College together. But then he went to Delhi to study medicine and met Nikki.
Nikki stopped scolding Abhi after she noticed how he saw starring at her.
"Abhi…aise kya dekh rahe ho?" she asked blushing.
"Sirf duniya ki sabse khoobsurat ladki ko. Jo meri biwi hai." Abhi replied not taking his eyes off her. "I am the luckiest guy in this universe."
"Kabhi kabhi sochta hoon…ke tumhari bina main zinda hota bhi ya nahi," he continued as Nikki put her hand over his mouth and hugged him.
"I love you, Abhi," she whispered softly.
The hug soon broke and as Abhi was about to lean forward and kiss her, a voice interrupted.
"Abhi? Abhimanyu Modi? The Abhimanyu Modi?"
Abhi turned around and saw a couple of familiar faces. But there was one thing he didn't like – they were all girls and he had dated almost every single one of them.
"Abhi!" a girl said walking to him. "Where did you go after Grad College? I missed you so much. You didn't even tell me you were leaving!"
Girls started talking to Abhi one by one as Nikki watched sitting bored on a table.
"Isko to main sabak sikhake hi rahongi," Nikita mumbled to herself. "Samajta kya hai apne aap ko? Koi college ka hero? Ladke mare peche bhi to bhagte thee college main. Isse lagta hai ke woh hi ek 'hot' insaan hai."
"Jee nahin," a voice replied from the side. "Mein apne aap ko hot nahin samaj ta hoon. Mein VERY hot samaj ta hoon."
Nikki looked up and saw Abhi standing there holding a drink out to her.
He set the beverage on the table and sat down in front of her. "Sorry baby," he started. "Woh mazak tha. Lekin seriously yaar. Yeh sab to college ki baat hai! Tum to janti ho ke college mein kitne chote chote affairs hote hai. Lekin is mein se ek bhi serious nahi tha. Yeh to sab time pass tha!"
Nikki's eyes narrowed. "Uus…Simran se baat karli?" she asked.
"Haan…"Abhi replied cautiously.
"To…ab ghar chale?"
Abhi apologized to Nikki many times on the way home. But only God knew what she was thinking.
She was so lost in her thoughts, she didn't even realize that they had reached their home. Abhi got out of the car and opened Nikki's door. She quickly snapped out of her thoughts and stepped out.
Abhi looked at his beautiful wife with admiration. He knew he was the one at fault. He should have guessed that all those girls would be there at the party. He should have stayed home.
Nikki, on the other hand, was enjoying seeing the guilt on Abhi's face. She knew that he was sorry about the idea. And why shouldn't he be? After all, if she ever did something like that to him, he would as jealous as can be.
After the couple had gotten changed, Nikki watched Abhi make coffee for her.
"Abhi…" she started slowly. "I'm sorry."
Abhi looked at Nikki with surprise. "Sorry? Kis liye?"
"Woh…main tumhe bahut saata rahi thi na..is liye. Actually, mein tumse itni naraz nahi hoon. I mean…main janti hoon ke jo aaj howa woh tumhari jalati nahi hai."
Abhi walked slowly to Nikki. "Acha…to madam ne jalati ki? Ab main aapko saza doonga."
"Saaza?" Nikki asked. "Kaise saza?"
Abhi moved closer and closer to Nikki and kissed her slowly and carefully on her lips. He soon moved down her neck and made way back to her cheeks.
Ring. Ring. The phone rang.
"Hey bhagwan!" Nikki and Abhi exclaimed.
"Agar ek aur ladki hai na…to main tumhe nahi chodu gi…" Nikki said laughing.
She ran to the phone and picked it up.
"Hello? Kaun?...Mom! Kaisi hai aap?"
Nikki continued talking to her mother as Abhi kept distracting her with small kisses and hugs.
"Kya?" Nikki asked happily. "Aapne Armaan aur Rahul dono ko dekha!? Kab?"
