K-"Good nite to u too" then gently slaps his cheek and runs to her room at top speed.
While S is left standing their, at the bottom of the steps, holding his cheek, looking bewildered? This time a slow smirk creeping into his face....
S- "What?! Huh! Uh.. No. It's nothing like that Siddhart bhaiya..." Sujal says quickly taking his hand off his own cheek and wiping off the lost, happy, smug smile from his face...
Sid-"So tell me what are u so happy abt then? And when did u guys come in anyways? I don't think I heard a door bell..."
S-"Well.. It was quite late so Kashish decided to use the spare key which she always carries.. ,as we didn't wanna disturb any1... As far as my being happy is concerned.. Wellll.. Isn't it apparent? I am still in one piece with no hair or eye missing + I think we have finally sorted out all our differences.."(S looks again in the direction in which k had run away and smiles dreamily again...)
Sid to himself... I think u sorted out more than ur differences young man....
Sid (Grinning)-"Well I am happy for u.. And now tht ur differences are solved u won't have to even take her out for dinner or lunch again... thts great!!"
S- "What? Why not? ... Yah I mean.. Yes, u r right. Now... v wont have a reason to go out (frowning.. deep in thought)" Damn he is right.. Just when things are getting better, again I am faced with this obstacle.. Damn it all!!
Sid-"Yah but its not like u wanna go out with her or something right? ... I mean u solved ur differences but it doesn't mean u like each other?"
S-"Of course we don't like each other! U r right. We just talked and realized v don't have to fight all the time"
Sid-"Correct! Mission accomplished!!" and much more than tht too..
S-"Right, mission accomplished.. Well then I'll go now..(Looking at the stairs, remembering, once again..)...Goodnite(dreamy look again)"
Sid takes S by his shoulder and guides him out.. He might stand here for the whole night unless I throw him out? -"Gud nite Sujal see u at breakfast tomorrow."

S lay on his bed after reaching home. He replayed the whole date from the starting- when he saw her descending the stairs, till the end- when she went back to her room... He was one very happy man...
I just cant believe tht whatever has happened tonite is not a dream. It's all too good to be true... Right at the begining she shows up looking so..soo.. I don't know what to say!!!.. She has no idea what her dresses do to my adralin and other levels... Some1 ought to ban her clothes!they are outright indecent.. First the potato sack.. Then tht elegant dress in court.. Her night shirt and now Tonite.. She is intent on driving me crazy?
S sits up with a bolt.
Crazy!! Thts right! I already am crazy!! I told her I liked her!!.. My God!! I have never said tht on the first date to any girl, ever.. I am crazy! She Has made me crazy!!!
Lying down again calming himself..
Alrite it's O.K. It's a good crazy.. the non-harmful, nice crazy.. The type tht doesn't hurt any1... but I really have to look and see what I do around her from now on.. she has the power to make loose all my senses and blurt things I never dare say...(exhaling a long breadth...)

K was in a land of bliss.. Can't remember the time when she had been so excited, happy, shy, anxious, springy and....so full of life... K skipped her way to her room smiling like a silly school girl, who just got kissed, by the most popular guy in school!...Oh Shit! I forgot to return his coat!.. Maybe his is still here..(Blushing)..I think I shud go and check... and return his coat....
K runs back to the stairs but stops at the top. She cud hear Sujal talking to Siddhart...
S- "Yes, u r right. Now?v wont have a reason to go out" WHAT! What does that mean!!
Sid-"Yah. But it's not like u wanna go out with her or something right? ... I mean u solved ur differences but it doesn't mean u like each other?" OH! Bhai common!!! It's nothing like that now....Noooo! U Don't Get It?
S-"Of course we don't like each other. (WHAT!!!!!!! NO! My ears are ringing he cudnt have said tht!!!!!) U r right. We just talked and realized v don't have to fight all the time" Why that bloody bas**** flirting loser jerk!!!! How? How? How cud I repeat my mistake again?????!!!!!!!!
Sid- "Correct! Mission accomplished!!"
S-"Right, mission accomplished.. Well then I'll go now.." all u hav accomplished is antagonizing me for rest of our lifes!!!!!!!!!!!! I HATE u Sujal Grewal! Absolutely, completely, forever and ever and EVER!!!!!!
Kashish ran back to her room in the most furious mood ever, this time her face red with anger and humiliation.
I cant believe he said all tht.. It's impossible.. After the time we had spent together today! The dinner -him remembering my fav. shake.. The dance - the almost kiss... NO! Don't think abt tht! Don't think how nice it all had been! Just remember one thing. It was all a Farce!.. He just wanted to get along with u from the beginning. So when I showed up looking good, he just decided to flirt too.. It didn't mean he actually feels something for me!! He doesn't!! Get tht in ur head, he never felt anything and he never will! I must have been going Crazy to believe even a word he said. How cud I act so stupidly again??!!.. Just forget tonite! Think of it as a dream... a beautiful dream and nothing more.....k thought as she lay on her bed curled up in a ball....
She fell asleep a while later.. a lone tear sparkling on her cheek...
