Half an hour later
Navin: (banging on the door angrily) Raj, open the door! Darwaaza kholo! (he kept banging hard forcing Rajveer to open up and come out)
Rajveer was still emersed in his thoughts and when he heard the banging he curiously thought what happened now. Navin sounded pretty angry.
Navin: agar Raj tum darwaaza nahi khologe to me yeh tore dunga (he continued banging on the wooden pane)
Finally Rajveer got frustrated and opened the door rapidly in order to scold Navin but stopped when he saw Navin pretty steamed up himself.
Rajveer: Kya huwa, ab kya kardiya maine jo tum aise ghusse me aaye ho?
Navin: (grabbed Rajveer's collar and dragged him out) Tune jo kiya hai oske liye me tujhe chorunga nahi (pulled him out with him)
Rajveer: (held onto Navin's grip on him and pulled himself off) Yeh kya batamezee hai Navin. Choro mujhe.
Navin: Tujhe chore du (glared at him) tune jo kiya oske baad chore du. Kabhi nahi!
Rajveer: aakhir kya kardiya hai maine?
Navin: Kya kiya hai tune? (grabbed him again) tune hamare khandaan kee izzat ke saath khilwaar kiya hai, ospe badgumaan daag lagaya hai tune or iske liye me tujhe kabhi maaf nahi karunga (threw Rajveer ahead of him)
Rajveer: (stumbled into the side table) Me nahi jaanta ke tu kya kehraha hai
Navin: itna zaleel kaam karne ke baad kehraha hai ke tu nahi jaanta ke kya kiya hai. Tune meree bholi bhaali Naina kee zindagee barbaad ki hai. (pushed Rajveer aggressively)
Rajveer: (tried balancing himself) Dekh Navin meree baat sun. aisa nahi hai jo tu soch raha hai
Navin: acha? (took something out of his pocket and shoved it in Rajveer's face) to phir yeh kya hai? Kya hai yeh?
Rajveer looked at the device Navin held in his hand with horror. He couldn't believe what he was looking at.
Navin: kya yeh jhooth bole raha hai? Ise dekhne ke baad mere to hosh hee urgaye ke maine tujhe kya samjha tha or tu kya nikla
Rajveer: (held it in his hands) ek baar meree baat sun Navin. Jo bhi huwa hai me manta hu ke abhi nahi hona chaheeye tha per hamne jaan bujke kuch nahi kiya or…
Navin: kaha tha tujhse ke aisa kuch mat karna jisse mere ghar ki izzat pe ungli uthe or tune wo izzat ko hee mittee me milaadee. (pushed him again further throwing him against another table)
Rajveer: me maanta hu ke hamse ghalati huwee hai Navin per yaakeen maan maine kabhi nahi socha tha ke yeh hojaaehga (tried saving himself from Navin's blows) meree baat sun
Navin: (grabbed him) bohat sunn li teree baat jiska nateeja dekh chukka me. Ab me tujhe chorunga nahi, tujhe tere kiye kee saza milke rahegee (dragged him along with him as if he was some kind of goat)
Naina: (came running) Bhaiya! Aap kya karahe hai bhaiya (tried freeing Rajveer from his grip)
Navin: kya karaha hu? (menacing eyes) itna bara ghinona kaam karne ke baad pooch rahee hai ke me kya karaha hu. Ek baar bhi tune nahi socha apne parivaar ke bare me?
Naina: (is confused) bhaiya kya kehrahe hai aap? Kya kardiya hai maine?
Navin: Kya kardiya hai tune? (showed her the device) yeh kardiya hai tune, yeh!
Naina stared at the device in shock. She couldn't believe her brother found it. Something which she had hid for such a long time he found it. She felt terribly embarrassed as well as upset that he found the pregnancy test she had used for precaution and when she found positive results she herself was horrified.
Navin: tune hamara sir sharm se jhuka diya hai Naina (turned his face away from her and she had tears in her eyes) kabhi nahi socha tha maine ke tu aisa kaam karegee. (rage filled him as he glared at Rajveer) or yeh sab is Raj ki wajese huwa hai to ab me…
He left from there with utter dispointment. Naina kept crying and Rajveer saw she was really upset. He couldn't believe that it was true and she was pregnant with his baby. He knew it was his fault and he was not going to leave her in the middle. He had promised her that he'll take care of everything so he was going to take care of this mess too. He held her in his arms to console her.
Just than an enraged Navin burst back inside the hall and this time he wasn't alone. He carried a big shooting gun in his hand. Ritu followed him trying to stop his madness. She couldn't believe he was actually going to shoot Rajveer.
When Rajveer and Naina saw him approaching with the gun they seperated and gave him a terrified look.
Rajveer: Navin yeh tu…
Navin: jis insaan ne mere parivaar ki izzat ke saath khilwaar kiya ose jeene ka koi haq nahi. (put the gun up pointed towards Rajveer) me tujhe zinda nahi chorunga Raj
Naina: (desperate need) yeh kya karahe hai aap bhaiya. Raj ko maarahe hai? Hosh me to hai aap?
Navin: mere hosh ho awaaz hee to cheen liye hai isne or me nahi chorunga ise.
Everyone, Alekh, Neelu, Sameera and Ritu had all gathered in the hall hearing the commotion. And when they saw the scene they all were horrified. Ritu was already there but she was still afraid of Navin's sudden crazy behavior. She had to put sense in him.
Ritu: Navin yeh kya paagal pan hai, gun ko neeche rakho
Navin: aaj me kisee kee nahi sunne waala. Ab Raj ne her hadd paar karli hai (he was adamant and the gun stayed pointed towards him)
Everyone panicked and Rajveer was out of his senses as to what was happening and how he was going to save his life. Then he saw that Naina was also very distraught and he had to save her life too. Navin had gone crazy and he had to stop his madness for his sake if not anyone else's.
Alekh: Dekho Navin jo bhi huwa ose beith ke suljha sakte hai istarha paagalpan se kuch haasil nahi hoga
Navin: Alekh tu beech me mat aa…(moved Alekh aside) is waqt mera sir bohat garam hai or me ab kuch nahi sunna chahta. Me Raj ko zinda nahi chorunga isne meree Naina ki zindagee barbaad kardee.
Everyone tried to stop Navin from taking the step but he just wasn't prepared to listen. Ritu tried pulling the gun away but he didn't budge and then Alekh also came and pushed Navin backwards away from Rajveer but it was a hard task. Navin was too strong for all of them to handle. In the commotion Alekh yelled to Rajveer to run away quickly and they'll take care of Navin. Rajveer took the cue and ran from there, with his constant eye on the drama happening. Navin was angry at everyone for stopping him and he gave them all an aggressive shove and managed to get out of their grip. Then he saw Rajveer running away so he also ran in the same direction after him. The rest also followed Navin to stop him and save Rajveer.
Rajveer saw Navin approaching so he increased his speed and ran around the whole house desperately trying to save his life. He stumbled many times but didn't care about it or the things he destroyed in between. The most important was his life which had to be saved at any cost. He tried to get through Navin but it was as if he had become deaf ears to everything. The chase continued until Rajveer reached upstairs and then was cornered in the lobby by Navin. Now Navin held him on gun point once again and warned him that he'll pull the trigger no matter what so he was stuck.
Ritu: Oh my God Navin stop this please (yelled from below) wo gun neeche rakho
Alekh: Navin gun ko neeche rakho, yeh sahi nahi hai, put it down (slowly he began to climb the stairs)
Navin: Khabardaar jo koi upar aaya to (warned them by pointing the gun at them) warna ose bhi maardunga. Alekh neeche jaa
Alekh: Navin tum sunne…
Navin: (raised voice) I said go down. Neeche jaa Alekh, I'm warning you. Neeche jaa!
Alekh still kept climbing when Navin shot random shots towards him which made everyone scream and the girls went and grabbed him back downstairs.
Rajveer: (was pretty shook up by what Navin was doing) Navin me manta hu mujhse galati huwee hai to me oski maafi maangta hu tujhse. Ab jo hogaya ose badal to nahi sakte na
Navin: Maafi galati ki miltee hai, paap ke liye nahi or tune to maha paap kiya hai. Ab tu tayar hojaa is dunya se uthne ke liye
Rajveer: (nervous) meree baat to sun…yeh soch ke mujhe maarke Naina ka kya hoga. Wo mere bagair nahi jeesakti
Navin: Tuj jese insaan ke saath jeene ke bajai wo akelee hee rahe to acha hai.
This situation had become too tensed and all of them didn't know how to prevent what was happening. Naina stood downstairs crying her eyes out and she had to stop this at any cost.
Naina: Bhaiya me Raj se pyaar kartee hu or me aapko aisa nahi karne dungi
Navin: me ek baar tere is pyaar ki wajese pigal gaya tha Naina lekin ab nahi. Ab me tujhe barbaad hote huwe nahi dekh sakta
Naina: (climbed the stairs) agar aaj aapne Raj ko maardiya to aapki yeh Naina bhi zinda nahi rahegee
Navin: Teree koi dhamki mujhpe nahi chalne waalee aaj Naina. Maine jo than liya hai wo me karke rahunga. (his finger was on the trigger and he was prepared to shoot)
Naina quickly ran towards Rajveer and stood before him as if she was his shield. Everyone panicked further seeing her madness now.
Naina: Agar aapko maarna hee hai to phir hum dono ko maarna parega. Yeh galati sirf Raj se nahi huwee hai, me bhi shaamil hu oske saath
Rajveer: yeh kya karahee ho Naina (tried moving her away) beech me se hath jao. Agar Navin ko lagta hai ke me doshi hu to yehi sahi per tumhe kuch ho me bardaasht nahi karsakhunga
Naina: Or tumhe bhi kuch hojaaehga to me bhi bardaasht nahi karsakhungi (towards Navin) To bhaiya chalaye goli
Navin: Naina tu saamne se hath jaa
Naina: Nahi bhaiya aapko maarna hee hai to hum dono ko saath maarna hoga
Rajveer: Naina yeh paagalpan choro or hath jao raaste se
Navin: Naina tu hath jaa me kehraha hu ke hath jaa
Naina: maine kaha na ke me nahi hathungi. Aap chalaye goli
Navin: me goli chala dunga, hath jaa raaste se. me kehraha hu ke hath jaa
Rajveer: (grabbed her and tried moving her away) Naina hath jao raaste se
All three of them kept arguing and Navin was really excited and then suddenly a shot was heard and everything stood still. Time stood still. The people looking over stood still. Something happened which none of them expected. Navin actually shot at them and now someone was shot but who? For the first few seconds Naina kept staring at Rajveer in shock and then gradually she began to fall towards the ground. Rajveer quickly grabbed her before she collapsed. This shouldn't have happened. It shouldn't have.
Navin dropped the gun and also went running towards Naina, crying his eyes out. The rest also ran up the stairs towards them still in the state of shock. The most shocked was Rajveer who didn't know how to react. What happened was completely unbelievable.
Rajveer: Naina! (shook an unconscious Naina) Naina utho! Utho Naina! (painful tears in his eyes) Nahi Naina tum mujhe aise chore ke nahi jaasakti
Ritu, Sameera and Neelu all dropped on the floor next to Naina and cried their eyes out. This was unbelievable and shouldn't have happened. They also shook Naina to get up but she didn't respond.
Navin: Yeh kya kardiya maine. (shook Naina) Naina uthjaa, mujhe itnee baree saza mat de. Naina!
Rajveer: (was very angry and upset at the same time) Yeh kya kardiya tune Navin. Maardiya ise? (Navin kept crying uncontrollably) ab khush hai tu? Khush hai ke jiskee wajese tune yeh saara bawaal macchaya wo hee khatam hogayee. (raised voice) khush hai. Meree Naina ko maarkar khush hai tu
No one said anything and just continued crying at the distraught scene. Everything had happened so fast that no one was able to control themselves. They all just didn't know what to do.
Rajveer: Naina utho! (shook her again) Meree galati kee saza tum nahi bhugat sakti. Mujhe aise akele chore ke nahi jaasakti kyu ke me kese zinda rahunga? Utho Naina! Utho! (violent tears) Mujhe maaf kardo ke meree wajese tumhaare saath itna kuch huwa per me waada karta hu ke abse me sab kuch chore dunga or jesa tum chahtee hu wesa hee banjaunga. Bus ek baar waapis aajao mere paas. Naina please don't do this to me. (he hugged her tight) Please Naina mujhe chore ke mat jao. Me waada karta hu ke aaj ke baad tumhe kabhi bhi tang nahi karunga tumhe kabhi bhi nahi rulaaunga. Please Naina waapis aajao. Please Naina (he continued crying)
Naina: Meree kasam khaake kehte ho?
Rajveer: ha tumhaaree kasam (he paused as he thought over what he just heard. Did she actually speak to him? He pulled her out and saw she lay there in his arms with wide eyes and a smile on her face as if nothing had happened. What was going on?) Naina tum…
Naina: (wrapped her arms around his neck) bilkul theek hu. Jab tak tumhaara pyaar mere saath hai to mujhe kese kuch hosakta hai.
Rajveer: (found it unbelievable) to phir yeh sab…what the hell is going on? (was displeased)
Navin: are tere mooh se yeh pyaari pyaari baate sunne ke liye hee to pura naatak racha tha. Jaante the ke tu zaroor baahar niklega is wajese.
Rajveer: naatak?
Naina: ha naatak. Me batatee hu…
FLASHBACK
Naina had climbed the stairs to go towards Rajveer's room but midway she had felt light headed due to which she slipped and was going to collapse but Neelu caught her on time.
Neelu: My God Naina kya huwa tujhe?
Naina: Pata nahi (held her head) achanak chakkar sa aagaya mujhe. Mujhe kuch theek nahi lagraha.
Neelu: tujhe aaraam karne kee zaroorat hai (held her for support) chal kamre me or me dekh tee hu.
Both of them reached Naina's room and then Neelu helped her get on the bed and then made sure she rested. Then she said she'll go and get something for her to eat which will make her better and she left.
Naina remained on the bed for sometime and then something struck her and she panicked. There was a high possibility of that so she instantly grabbed her purse and fished through it. Then finally found it and rushed to the bathroom with it. She had bought the pregnancy test before they had left to come for Khandala just as a precaution. She did the test and crossed her fingers hoping for it to come negative.
It took a while and then she came out of the bathroom holding it in her hands and then stood still with horror. Navin stood in front of her and when he saw what was in her hands he was also shocked.
Naina: bhaiya aap yaha? I mean wo…
Navin: Neelu ne bataya ke teree tabiyat theek nahi to poochne aaya (saw the pregnancy test in her hands) yeh kya hai Naina?
Naina: (tried hiding it) uhhh…kuch nahi bhaiya wo to bus…(gave him a weak smile) me ab bilkul theek hu
Neelu: (came in without seeing Navin and was alarmed) Naina tu os pregnancy test se kya karahee hai?
Naina cursed Neelu under her breath for blabbering it out in front of Navin and now she was certainly going to die. Then Neelu noticed a stunned Navin standing and she covered her mouth with her hands for making such a grave mistake. Then Navin glared at Naina waiting for an explanation.
Naina: Bhaiya aisa nahi hai jaisa aap soch rahe hai…actually wo me…
Navin: tere haath me yeh pregnancy test hai or mujhse keh rahee hai ke me aisa na sochu? (disappointed) iska to ek hee matlab hosakta hai Naina or agar aisa hai jo me soch raha hu to phir aaj os Raj ko mujhse koi nahi bachaa sakta
Naina: what are you saying? Aisa kuch nahi karenge aap bhaiya, yeh sirf ek precautionary step hai
Navin: are aisa kuch huwa hee nahi to phir tu yeh precaution kyu lerahee hai? (saw how the colour of her face changed and she looked nervous) wait a minute…wo raat jab tum log wo beech pe gaye the to…my god mera shak sahi tha.
Naina: (felt embarrassed) actually bhaiya wo ummmm…osse pehle bhi…
Navin: (was utterly disappointed) I'm going to kill him
Navin began to leave the room in earnest and Naina tried calming him down and reminded him that what happened between them was an act of responsible adults. Navin was surprised to hear that and reminded her that what was she doing with a preganacy test if they had been responsible. He continued to fret and get angry at Rajveer. Naina tried her best to explain to him that what happened was not wrong.
Neelu: (in between their argument) uhhh Naina it's pink
Navin: (that made it worse for him and he fumed further) ab to chorunga hee nahi me ose. Not after what he has done to you (he continued walking with the intention to kill him and then Naina and Neelu followed him with the desperate need to stop him)
Naina: bhaiya wait, aisa nahi hai jo aap soch rahe hai
Navin: wo pink hogaya hai or tu mujhe kehrahee hai ke kuch nahi huwa. You're bloody pregnant!
He didn't realize that they were out in the lobby now and Alekh, Ritu, Sameera and Neelu were sat in the hall and now heard him say it out loud. All of them were shell shocked to hear this and just kept staring at them completely numb. Naina felt so embarrassed that she wished she could have disappeared somewhere. Now everyone knew and it was going to be so awkward for her to be around them. Frustration took over her and she grabbed the device out of Neelu's hand.
Naina: isme pink huwa hai to oska matlab yeh hai ke result negative hai samjhe bhaiya (she gritted her teeth)
Navin: kya? (felt stupid) I thought ke iska matlab hota hai ke positive hai. Oh God (he held his head in agitation) aaj ka din hee lagta hai bhaaree hai. Ek to pehle tune or Raj ne itnee bari garbar kardee or phir oske baad tune yeh bawaal macha diya.
Naina: excuse me per maine aisa kuch nahi kiya. Wo to ittefaq se aap mere kamre me aagaye
Navin: wo to acha huwa ke me aagaya warna itnee baree baat mujhe pata hee nahi chaltee (she just rolled her eyes) maana ke tu pregnant nahi hai per osse yeh baat to jutlaati nahi na ke tum dono itne aage barchuke ho
Naina: ab bhaiya aap bhi please ma or baba ki tarha lecture mat dena. Maante hai ke hamne jo kiya jald baazi thi per wo hamara pyaar tha or kuch nahi.
It took a lot of convincing from everyone and finally Navin seemed okay with it but still he found it awkward to know that his sister had grown so much to have that sort of relationship. She wasn't married yet so he had to be the over protective big brother.
Later they sat down discussing about what happened with Rajveer and how he still hadn't left his room. He just wasn't prepared to listen to anybody or even talk to anybody. They had to find a solution to bring him out.
Naina: (idea popped) Bhaiya me pregnant hu
Navin: (out of his wits) What?
Naina: yes I'm pregnant
Navin: tu hosh me bhi hai tu kya kehrahee hai? Yeh koi mazaak ki baat nahi
Naina: uffo (annoyed) me sahi me thoree pregnant hu per yehi to khel hai. (everyone looked confused) dekhye me samjhaatee hu. Jistarha aap dhoka khaagaye ke me pregnant hu osee tarha Rajveer bhi to khaasakta hai.
Navin: wo kese?
Naina: you didn't know what was negative and positive on this device to Raj ko pata nahi hoga to ose yeh dikhaa ke easily fool karsakte hai. Yeh baat jaankar wo bahaar zaroor niklega or phir hum ose mana lenge
Navin: (shook his head) this wont work. Wo ham sab ko pakar lega
Naina: nahi pakrega bhaiya. Not after what we do with him.
She narrated the whole plan to them all about how Navin would go barging in his room and drag Rajveer out as if he was furious with him. Then they would play the drama of Navin being really angry with him for performing such an act and making her pregnant. Then the finale would be of her dying and then make him repent everything. Alekh did warn her that Rajveer might take it the wrong way as he was quite upset with the happenings already. She comforted him by saying that when he'll find out they were joking then he would certainly forget everything. After all he had played the dying game with her so many times and she always forgave him. This way he would forget his sorrow and come back to his self. So they all had agreed finally and the plan had been put in action…
END OF FLASHBACK
All of them were laughing on Rajveer's expense but he was not happy at all. A rage had filled him by now as they all had made fun of life. His life and his child's life and he wasn't going to forgive them for that.
Alekh: sach me is baar tera chehra dekhne laayak hai. Her baar tu sab ka paplu banata hai or aaj tera bangaya (laughed out loud) teree to phat hee gayee yeh maut ke khel ki wajese (continued laughing and mocking Rajveer with the rest)
Rajveer: (stood up irately) OH JUST SHUT UP! MAUT KA BHI TAMASHA BANATA HAI KOI
All of them stopped laughing after hearing him being so hot headed. Then he just left from there leaving all of them quite upset and hurt. They had tried to joke with him and here he was still angry with them. Naina felt the worst. She followed him out as enough was enough.
