The series is fantastic as they have provided enough clauses to for every character. So far my favorite episode was that of Draupadi and Kunti! I had simply loved Draupadi's answer to Karna! That was EPIC!!

I loved her answer too!!!👏 👏 👏

Bhishma & Vidur tried their best, but father's duty comes first IMO, and here father taught him to disobey all elders from childhood. Father was always a yesman for Duri. See, how could Duri make a picnic spot in Pramaankoti at age of 15? He must have enough royal machinery at his hand, no? Also see that Duri wanted to make other 4 prisoners after killing Bheem so that he could rule HP. How can a 15 year boy think this if he was not already spoiled?

Actually its Bheems fault as well, the way he bullied and tortured Duryodhana and his brothers was not good, until then Duryodhana did not do anything which can be called evil.

"..Whenever they were engaged in play with the sons of Dhritarashtra, their superiority of strength became marked. In speed, in striking the objects aimed at, in consuming articles of food, and scattering dust, Bhimasena beat all the sons of Dhritarashtra. The son of the Wind-god pulled them by the hair and made them fight with one another, laughing all the while. And Vrikodara easily defeated those hundred and one children of great energy as if they were one instead of being a hundred and one. The second Pandava used to seize them by the hair, and throwing them down, to drag them along the earth. By this, some had their knees broken, some their heads, and some their shoulders. That youth, sometimes holding ten of them, drowned them in water, till they were nearly dead.."

Duryodhana did not started hating Pandavas from the day he was born, in-fact Bheem was the one who started it all, Bheem actually played a major part in Duryodhanas eternal hatred for Pandavas.

P.S - I don't think dragging Kauravas by their hair and drowning them till they're almost dead can be called childish.

Actually both Gandhari and Madri names appear as part of Yadu dynasty as great grandmothers of Vasudeva (there may be one more great, am not certain)

A lot of stories and relationships seem to be replicated as such in consecutive generations. At the same link, there is the story of Shivaphalka which seems the same as the story of Rishyashringa told by the original Vyasa.

Then Pradyumna is mentioned as Gadusha's son (Vasudeva's brother)

Thats horrible. So how come Dury trying to drown Bheem is always talked about, but what Bheem does is hardly mentioned. So incidents which could have been nipped in the bud by the parents, where ignored and made to fester, till there was no going back :(
