CHAPTER-17.
The shining stars,the glowing moon,and the darkness of the night-
The wind rustling the leaves of the trees,or the golden sunshine..
All of them are the witness to my sleepless nights,witness to my endless tears-
Ask them and you will know what I went through every while wishing you were mine..
The world was standing still suddenly..
Or had it tilted on its axis and they were standing upside down..?
Baldev did not know..Nor did he want to know..He just wanted to feel..And let the warm molten feeling wash over himself,and drown him in it ecstastic whirlpool..
Her hands tightened round his neck,and as her soft lips sucked on his unresponsive ones,as Baldev felt fireworks start up within himself..
She moved her soft sweet smelling body closer to his,and as his back bumped into the tree trunk behind him,and her glass bangles tinkled at the same time,Baldev knew he was lost..
"Dev.."She whispered against his lips,and her teeth bit into his bottom lip,accidentally or not he was not sure..But that was exactly when Baldev lost all control..
He moved his lips away from hers,and looked down at her beautiful tear wet face and soft pouty parted lips,slightly parted as she breathed heavily just like him..
With a loud groan,his hands crushed into her soft heavy hair at her nape,snapping the band open that was holding her hair in a side pony tail,and setting her wild locks free as he pulled her hard and close up against his body..
He let the wild locks fall against his hands,as he crushed her hair more,making her gasp out at the force with which he pulled at her hair..
Baldev looked into her heavy lidded eyes with hunger and need shining in his,and then as his eyes moved to her soft juicy lips,he hitched in a sharp breath and pulled her head closer,as his lips swooped down onto hers.
Veera was lost as a cascade of raw hungry desire,burst through her as his hot hungry lips sucked on hers and melted her body into a pool of desire and yearning..
The world had stopped being for her right then,as she felt his hands digging into her scalp,and puling her closer to himself,as he went on kissing her with all the passion and hunger reflected in that one kiss..
Her nails dug into his nape,as his one hand moved down her spine and squeezed at her rounded bottom making her moan and brush her body closer to his..
Through their heavy clothing she could feel the clear sign of his arousal nudging onto her soft stomach and Veera felt victorious at that too..She felt jubilant that she could still affect him in such a way..
And then his hot tongue which were licking at the seam of her lips,pushed its way inside making her gasp out in surprised pleasure..
Veera felt waves after waves of hot current pass through her body,as his hot tongue licked at the inside of her mouth,and dueled with hers,and the kiss got wilder and wilder,leaving her breathless wild and yearning for more..
Just when she thought this could not get any better,he had suddenly picked her up in his arms,and as she just had a few seconds to mourn the loss of his hot lips from hers,he again claimed her swollen lips for another hot hungry kiss,as he started walking with her in his arms..
Veera did not know what was happening to her,or how,when suddenly she realised they were in a small room ,and a door had just closed shut behind them..
She pulled her lips away from his,,to look at her surroundings,and was shocked to see herself in the same cottage where she had given herself to him that night..
Suddenly her eyes widened,and she hitched in a sharp painful breath as he slowly placed her down on the narrow cot..The same cot where she had had a one night stand with him..
The pain of the betrayal,and the remorse,the endless remorse she had felt afterwards,washed over her,and Veera bit down on her bottom lip,that was already swollen from his kisses,and winced in pain..
But that physical pain was nothing compared to the raw pain and anger she felt taking over her,as she finally looked into his darkened handsome face with pain and accusation in her eyes..
He was kneeling down on the bed,coming closer to her,when Veera gave him a hard shove,and dragged herself away from him as much as she could..And the look of surprised shock on his face hurt her more..
How could look so surprised at her anger,and how could he be so insensitive to bring her back over here,where he had used her and her body for one night and left her,just like that..?!
Baldev moved one more time,and Veera stumbled out of the cot this time..Her dupatta fallen off as she did so,but Veera was past caring as she stared wildly at her surroundings and then at him..
And Baldev looked more confused then ever..
Baldev was not getting why she suddenly looked so haunted and scared the moment he had brought her here,and as she looked at the cot with a pained expression,his heart nearly stopped in realisation..
Was she scared of physical intimacy with him..?
Hadn't they had a wonderful night last time over here,hadn't they lived their love here..?!
Then why was she so..?
Veera nearly tripped on her heavy skirt,and he was there by her side in seconds to keep her from falling..
Veera surprised him again by pushing him away as tears streamed down her cheeks..
Baldev tried to hold her twice,and was pushed away twice too,but the third time,unable to see her crying anymore,he picked her up in his arms,and sat on the cot with her cradled safely in his lap,as she cried out her heart against his chest once again..
And Baldev felt his insides getting shattered to pieces,as she sobbed out her pain in words,and finally he was hit hard by the truth..
Baldev felt like howling out in pain,for hurting her like this so..!If he felt so bad hearing her suffering now,how had she gone on the last three months..!
At that moment he wished he could make himself suffer,but somehow knew that would not be enough to east the pain of the love of his life..
So he let her words wash over him,and let the guilt tear at his already bleeding heart..
"Tu chala gaya Baldeva..!Mainu akeli chadhdhke chala gaya tu..!Kaam-..Kaam khatam ho gaya tha tera to tu chala gaya..!
[You left Baldeva..!You left me alone,and went away..!Job-..Your job was done so you were gone..!]"She said in between shattered sobs..
And her words pierced his heart like shards of glasses making his insides bleed to death,as he finally realised why she was so hurt..!
"Kuch nai kaha tu mainu..!Tune raat bhaar..Meri.. Meri istemaal kiya!Tera kaam pura kia..!Aur subha hote hi,mainu chadhdhke chala gaya..!Kaam jo pura ho gaya tha tera..!Aur main behsarmo ki tarha,uss raat-..
[You did not tell me anything..!The entire night,you..You..You used me!You finished your job..!And as soon as it was morning,you left me..!Your work was done after all..!And I behaved like a shameless hussy,that night-..]"
"Shshshhh!"Baldev shushed her by placing his finger on her lips,before she could say anything further..
And Veera stopped,as she tried to stop her hiccups of sobs,and stared up at him confused,yet still hurt..
Baldev fixed her position on her lap,tightening his hold on her waist with one hand,to keep her there,and with the other,he gently moved away strands of her open hair,plastered to her wet face..
Gently looking at her with tenderness,he lowered his face,and before Veera could understand what he was about,he started kissing and licking at her tears..And Veera hitched in a sharp breath trying to fight the storm of emotions that were building up within her again..
By the time he had moved his lips away from her cheeks,Veera's heart was already racing as she tried hard to control its erratic beating.And when he looked into her eyes with a warm glow in his eyes,Veera felt another glow start within her stomach..
"Veera..Uss raat hum dono ki beech jo hua tha..Wo kuch aur nai tha..Wo hum dono ki pyaar tha..Ek duje ke liye..Kiuki hum dono ek duje ki kareeb ana chahte the..Saab se kareeb..Isse pyaar kehte hai Veerakhdi besharmi nahi..
[Veera..That night whatever happened between the two of us..That was nothing else ..That was just our love..For each other..Because we both wanted to get close to each other..As close as possible..It's called LOVE Veerakhdi,not shamelessness..]"His words puled hard at her heart strings,and Veera felt the glow within her start building up into a fire pretty fast..
His hand round her waist tightened,and pulled her closer,as he cupped her cheeks,and tenderly brushed one cheek with his thumb..The simple movement setting her soft skin on fire too..
"Aur main tainu chadhdhke gaya tha Veera,paar tere paas ekdum se wapaas aane ke liye..Kuch baan ke ane ke liye taki main teri Veerji se tera haat maang saku..Mera kaam saach mein khatam hogay tha yaha..Agle din mera jana pehle se hi tai tha..Paar uss raat ki baat,mera jane ka maan bilkul nai tha Veera..Paar mainu jana para..Tere paas wapaas aneke liye jana para..Aur main to tere liye ek chiththi bhi chadhdhke gaya tha-..
[And I left you Veera,to come back to you for good..To become something so that I can as k for your hand in marriage from your Veerji..Mu job was truly finished here..My going away the next day was fixed from before..But after that night I did not feel like going at all..But I had to leave..To come back to you I had to leave..And I even left a letter for you-..]"
Seeing her surprised frown at the mention of the letter,he suddenly pulled her up,and made her walk out of the cottage with him..
There out on the balcony he made her open a small covered earthen pot..And to Veera's utter surprise,she found an old dusty letter right there..!
Giving him a surprised look,she opened the letter with shaky fingers..
Of course he was right..!The letter was written by him to her,where he explained everything and promised to return in a month or two,and asked her to wait for him..That he will be back..
Reading the letter finally,that explained everything Veera suddenly felt she was seeing sunshine after endless dark nights..!
Giving out another sob she was crumbling down on the ground when Baldev pulled her closer,and wiped off her tears,warning her with his eyes not to cry again..
And as he held her tight in his arms,and explained how he had asked the old lady to tell Veera to look into the earthenware outside the cottage,which he rightfully concluded that she must have forgotten,Veera was in an all new world of happiness yet again..
With silent tears falling down her cheeks, she looked up at his handsome regretful face as he kept on apologising to her..
And suddenly Veera could not take it anymore..
He grabbed his jaw and pulled his face closer to hers,her eyes shining with irritation now..
"Tu saach mein chahta hai main tainu maaf kardu..?
[Do you really want me to forgive you..?]"
And as he nodded slowly,Veera moved closer to his hard body,and pulled him back into the cottage,and banged the door shut behind them..
"To mainu khush kaar..
[So make me happy..]"She whispered softly,looking sexily at his lips and then into his darkening eyes..
"Kaise..?
[How..?]"He whispered huskily,as his hands snaked round her waist,finding the soft naked skin there at the parting of her lehenga top and skirt..
"Pyaar kaar mainu Dev..
[Love me Dev..]"She whispered softly in a sultry seductive voice,her large eyes looking at his with fire..
And Baldev's hands squeezed at the soft tender skin of her waist,as he pulled her hard and close to his body..Deliberately brushing his hardened body against her soft stomach,as his eyes and face hardened and darkened fast into a mask of naked raw desire and bottomless hunger..
