I liked the way they took it.

Avdesh- Is a headache to watch. Jayna was so much more better. This actor must bring out the contrast in Sid's acting, because I end up staring at RNJ, no matter how pretty Gayatri looks. RNJ's characterisation has so much to improvise on for an actor and Sid has done a splendid job. He simply makes RNJ the most interesting character, no matter how weak he is written! 👏

Yesterday was no different. Hawww! The smirk on RNJ's face as he asks if Avdesh is actually going to fight or just stand there and do drama!😆

RNJ was absolutely graceful in the fight scenes..he is as good a fighter as G is a dancer. Nicely choreographed fight scene.👏

Even the last scene at the arena- when G reluctantly lifts her hand to touch him and he walks away...She has indeed become so unsure of their relation. RNJ had been so kingly in their latest interactions. It looked like she was afraid to touch the king.😉

Since Avdesh cheated, it looked OK that RNJ took advantage of his distraction. What a buffoon the guy is! For how long is he going to be there? Is he there to simply lead the way for the next female entry?

Gayatri's payal fell down. It is symbolic of her honour. The last time this happened, it was questioned...I hope this time RNJ will support her.

RNJ seemed suspicious of the guy even after he accepted his friendship...but the precap seems to indicate he has melted RNJ with his sob story. This RNJ is such a softie. 😆

Lakhan- 😭. Thank god he didn't have to lick the shoes...I was about to change the channel. But his passion is commendable...Plus the actors are a pleasure to watch. How I wished either of them was playing Avdesh. 🤔

It calls for celebration as Zee TV's popular show 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' completes 100 episodes tomorrow!

The show which started off with much fanfare... had everything that a full-fledged dramatic show requires. It incorporates tantalizing politics of a palace, a fantastic star cast, a fascinating love story, engaging suspense drama and intriguing layers of potential conspiracy and deception.

And now, with 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' reaching the 100 episode mark, the cast and crew gathered for a cake cutting ceremony and celebration!

Sharing his happiness, protagonist of the show, Siddhant Karnick said, "100 episodes got over so fast! It feels wonderful working on this show. Generally shows have repetitive drama but 'Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani' has a distinguished way of story-telling. Pasting this article for Sid's comments...this is exactly what I feel about how he goes about his acting.. there are so many different genres...so many colours to RNJ especially..At times one can feel the actor's delight.😳

saw the segment was Sid was cribing in that segment that everything laddies will do ? 😆 .. Rana is there inviting problem na ? So why cribbing lol ... New entry is smart guy now easily can enter palace 😛

Exactly my thoughts too, Chick...the more this guy shouts, the more powerful and controlled RNJ emerges...and all credit to Sid was not losing grip on the subtlety even in the face of such theatrics..!

And he was indeed graceful in the fight sequence..I guess, being a dancer, you tend to move gracefully irrespective of the sequence..!

As an actor, I am also beginning to think Sid has no reason to complain...the show is a perfect showcase for his skills...it gives him an opportunity to showcase a wide range of emotions, action and even dance...

Anyway, the actor cannot be judged for a character's intelligence or lack of it..and also the writer's...so why should he care, I suppose?

And yes, I had also made the comparison with Jayna...she was so much better even from the second day onwards...I actually liked the way she played the scene by the riverside...! A better actor could have made Avdesh seem more of a challenge..this guy is not that!

My take on this is very 50/50

Not a fan of how CV tries to play a game with us viewers.

I do like that Ranaji has a warm side; just give me less tears. However i do appreciate Ranaji for trying his best regarding the MU tracks to make things right.

But the way the write it to get to that point makes way less sense.

I feel like screaming and say lets skip this chapter. Send the new guy home, and try again CV. And as much as i do like Gayatri, make her less involved when it comes to Ranaji making life changing choices, because i cant really connect with Ranaji yet. We all know what Gayatri is about by now.

Or maybe its because Ranaji never had much experience with hurdles like this? Either way CV has to let us know. Let us know more about what goes around in his head. The days when we were wondering whether he was being fake or real regarding the romantic scenes with Gayatri. Its sad we actually had to wonder..For some reason that still bugs me the way it was written. It seemed bipolar at some moments.

Eventually it is because of SK and his good acting im not turning my head away yet. Sure Ranaji's decisions make us guess allot, but it feels like we get a logical result from it, or no real conclusion afterwards.

Funny how i made a joke about Ranaji inviting him to the palace page 63 of this thread, and voila!

Yes Bertie, It was Sid whose screen presence actually kept me glued to the show yesterday. The Avdesh fellow is too loud and unbearable for me. Jayna was really good towards the end and the way she turned from Sula to Jhumki was good too. This fellow seems too irritating.. Sid is such a fine actor .. You instantly fall for him... whether he is angry, or romantic.. or in grief.. you only tend to sympathise with him.. Thats the sign of fantastic actor.. Honestly 100 mrks ot Sid .Hes carrying this RNJ so gracefully. If it was anyone else..I would have left the show by now.. seriously.. the story is the same old one.. nothing new.. Sid nd DD are the only reason to watch.. If they give us more witty RM.. we would love her as well.

What was that Neelanjana tweeted about Raga romance.. but I t hink we wil have to wait.. since MU is on cards... ? I did not see the precap.. but its so strange that RNJ invites a stranger to stay with him in the palace.. seems stupid... isn't it?

Totally not happy by the way they are taking ranaji character. Only sid makes it bearable to watch.

They cannot repeat a Wilkinson saga here again. After all that raga have been through If they do so it's like they are running a loop. Entry new character, create MU, Gayathri proves herself. Entry next new character, again MU and the loop goes on and on.

JA gave us wonderful romantic moments between Jodha and akbar. In fact ut was a bigger political arena. But here it seems to me they have nithing new to offer except this loop. And what do they have sgainst showing beautiful moments with such wonderful leads?

If this loop keeps repeating audience will lose interest. Nobody likes a third wheel always in the story.

And what romanceon Friday? All I want is peaceful romantic moments. Not MU again and again. It's irritating and believe me not just me but a lot of ppl I know are changing channels.

Nilanjana and ST have no idea how to write a total story except repeating tracks. That's all I can understand.
