Another dramatic episode..!
They edited out the dance...thank the Lord for small mercies!
Avdesh has basically a single expression on his face...he uses his voice to show variation...by which I mean he raises or lowers it...mostly raises, I think!
I really liked the fact that Sid remained true to RNJ's character...another actor, faced with a performer in the same frame playing to the gallery by indulging in theatrics, might just try to pitch it up by a few notches...but he never made that attempt...RNJ remained himself, calm, composed and controlled even in fury...!
As expected Avdesh did not play fair..what do you expect of a pirate who eyes another man's wife!
G ran up to RM and asked for permission to be with her husband..wonder what she would've done if the battle had been waged out in an arena...and not the precincts of the palace?
A Q to the creatives about their drivel on her being a dhaal...what of the women whose husbands go out to the battlefront as soldiers or as cops to conflict zones...are these women lesser beings...or am I expected to take a bullet meant for my husband to prove my pativrata...tough standards these desitv wohus set, I say!
I am not romanticising Jauhar...but there was a reason why it happened and how it happened...we cannot sit in judgment looking at it through the prism of our times...G's choice was hers to make...only don't want it to reflect on the sacrifices made by all those Queens and their children...!
Anyway having run down the stairs and on seeing her husband down on the ground, one can understand why she shrieked!
The unfortunate part is now we will never know if RNJ would still have managed to evade Avdesh's spear even otherwise! But well, he made a tactical move on seeing his opponent's concentration broken...and tactic is an important war strategy too!
It would be damaging on G's character if someone assumed that she shouted so she could distract Avdesh with her beauty or presence...to me, it seemed like it was an instinctive cry of panic...nothing more!
Now why would G have to shout out a second command when Avdesh was at the receiving end...I mean, does she not think RNJ capable of taking any kind of decision...with this kind of writing, I can neither blame those who call RNJ spineless or even myself for calling G a wohu...because that is how wohus are...interfering busybodies who have to poke their noses into just about everything!
So now, Avdesh has decided to shift tactics..he wants to win by cunning...by offering a hand of friendship only to back stab!
In the tradition of true warrior spirit, RNJ had no choice but to accept the hand...! Can't fault him for that! It would have seemed extremely churlish otherwise!
The precap indicates that he swallows Avdesh's sob story. Is it that simple? Or is RNJ following the maxim of keeping the enemy closer so he can find out his true intent...can't trust these writers since they made him gift the throne to Kunwar Chacha...!
RNJ is like that innermost black dot on the dart board ...the one that the creatives like to aim their darts at!
P.S - what is with G and her payal? is someone going to gift it to Avdesh so he can use it against her? Just like Wilkie did? How repetitive can the writers get? Or is to show that she crossed the line when she dropped the payal? Some kind of a symbolic thing?
