Abhi moves her hand of his face " don't try to act like you know me. You took my father away from me and than my mother. Your worse than a snake."
Kalpi surprise, frown. Raghav hearing this calls abhi. He was on his way to leave when he heard shouting. Making his way in the kitchen, he saw abhi yelling at Kalpi. " enough... Be mindful that she is your mother now. Show her with respect like you would with priya "
Abhi once more feeling it wasn't fair, turns his back to them and walk away. Kalpi tries to call him, but raghav stops her. " that boy needs to learn discipline, priya was to soft on him. Next time he tries being disrespectful, I give you my concent to teach him. "
Kalpi felt conflicted. She wasn't the only one. She felt pain on her stomach. Which raghav took noticed. " are you alright Kalpi. Do you need your pills... Is it the baby "
" I'm fine... I didn't eat all day, so that's probably why I'm feeling pain. "
Raghav wasn't to sure, but if she says it is than he will let it go. " come sit, I will make you food"
" but weren't you going somewhere"
Raghav takes his suit of " It will have to wait. Right now my baby needs me"
Kalpi smile " what about me... I need you too"
He helps her sit down, " seems like your mommy is a little jealous of you baby" he says rubbing the baby stomach.
Kalpi pouts. " I'm not jealous, I just feel you should share the love equally"
Raghav chuckles before lifting her chin. " I do, you both can have my love" he says before giving her a peck on the lips " you happy now"
Kalpi satisfied nod. She watch as raghav attempts to make her food. She puts her hand on her stomach. " your father can't cook to save his life. But his trying, which is so funny to see. " she says while rubbing it.
The baby responded with a kick, and Kalpi nods " I'm glad we both agree "
Meanwhile, Abhi in his room prays to god. He says " father hates me once more because of kalpi. What should I do now. "
He recalls his mother saying, if his going through difficult to always pray. Which is exactly what he did, he grabs a mat from under his bed and starts to pray. His mother told him, that no one should know that he was not a full Hindu.
He didn't know why, but when asked about it. His mom told him when his older he will understand. Unbeknown to Abhi gauri saw this.
She barged in his room while he was praying, saying she had told him to stop doing this. She says if raghav finds out he will disown him. Because raghav hates his kind. She says his mom hide that truth from raghav for a long time, and if he finds out now, she can't help him.
Abhi felt torn. Not only is his mother dead and his father cared little about him, he can't even honored his belief. He got up and puts the mat away. Gauri with hidden agenda pats his head. " don't worry... Once kalpi is out of the picture, I will convince raghav to except your flaws. "
Abhi didn't miss the fact that she called his belief a flaw. He wonder sometimes if gauri really loves him or she's just faking it.
The next day raghav woke up not feeling so good. He stretched his arm to get close to kalpi, but got a smack on the face. Confused he opens his eyes to see Kalpi sleeping facing front.
She was snoring very loudly. Raghav wonders if she snores like this all the time. He sat up and rubs her stomach " are you disturb as well. Don't worry your mom is just stressed. " he says
He got of the bed and step out. Telling one of the maids to prepare breakfast for his wife. He had somewhere to be. Somewhere that will probably give him the answer he was seeking.
