Kalpi was heading to where Sammy said he would be. Cars were passing left and right, not even giving her a chance to cross.
The sun was hitting her face, making her hot. She unconsciously puts a hand on her stomach, and rubs it. With everything that's going on, they still don't know the gender of the baby. And she was almost due.
She felt like a bouncing ball. Kalpi phone rang...she looks at it and saw another text. " sorry change of plans, let's talk tomorrow. " this confused her, but at the same time made her upset. She grumble about wasting her time before calling for a taxi.
Meanwhile, raghav sitting down got a call from sonali. "yes what is it"
" raghav we found something. The persons DNA in that accident was a woman named kamla"
" kamla? Why does that name sound familiar " he says
Sonali says " apparently she used to work for neetu and your mom"
" my mom... How is it I don't remember her if she worked for us"
Their was a pause before she spoke once more "maybe it's due to your accident. You should probably see a doctor about that"
Raghav sigh " your right, I will. Thanks for the information. I have one more thing to ask"
" yes...what is it?"
" can you give me the location of her family, I wish to apologize "
" sure"
And so raghav writes the address before ending the call. He reads the address out loud, trying to remember why it sounds familiar. Suddenly their was a knock. He quickly puts the address in his pocket and looks up.
Elsewhere, kalpi was tired after walking around so much. She just wanted to lay down and rest. But first she needs to eat. Walking in The kitchen, she spotted abhi. She got excited seeing him.
She walk to him to start a conversation. Abhi ignores her while eating his sandwich. Kalpi starts blabbering nonsense about god knows what. Abhi wonders if she talks like this even when she's not pregnant.
Kalpi moves the stool and attempts to sit down. But with her heavy weight it was hard. She kept trying on the high stool, she was so close, but her attempt fail when her butt slipped and she starts to fall.
Surprise, she held onto her stomach while anticipating the fall, but it never happen. Opening her eyes she saw Abhi holding her hand. Kalpi surprised steaded her feet.
She thanks him causing him to let go of her hand. " you saved me abhi I'm so grateful "
Abhi quiet didn't know why he saved his mother's killer. He felt like he just betrayed his mom. Why did I do it, he thought... Why couldn't I just let her fall... If I did that would have ease my pain. While lecturing himself, he was unaware of Kalpi grabbing his hand and putting it on her stomach.
He jump feeling a hard kick. " see this Abhi, my baby is also happy and grateful for saving him/ her. It's literally having a party in their. " she smile
Abhi quickly removes his hand like something just burnt him. Kalpi puts her hand on his cheeks " I think the baby likes you a lot, it keeps kicking. "
Abhi staring at her eyes, advert his eyes. He thinks that if he kept looking, he might melt in her eyes and forgive her. " your a good boy abhi, and I know your not cold hearted. "
