Chapter 20

Same night

Both Raghav and Kalpana fell asleep in their rooms with smile on their faces.

The next morning

Raghav went to meet Sammy in the Hospital. Seeing Raghav at that time Sammy was surprised. He also noticed some change in Raghav.

Sammy: I cant believe in one night this much change. The person who kept drinking at the bar is smiling now.

Rag: thank you Sammy

Sammy: for what?

Rag: you are right. She likes me

Sammy: Did she tell you?

Rag: no

Sammy: then how did you get to know?

Rag: I know but I cant tell you

Then he smiled

Sammy: hmmm. Did you propose her?

Rag: no

Sammy: go and propose her. Why are you waiting for?

Rag: how can I propose her like this?

Sammy: oh how can I forget that you have no idea how to propose? I am the one who kept proposing girls and you were the one who would enjoy without proposing.

Rag: Sammy, please don't bring my past in every single thing. I am not the one who you knew before anymore.

Sammy: really sorry. Kalpana's presence in your life made you change.

Rag: I love Kalpana a lot. I don't want to lose her at any cost.

Sammy: so you need my help

Rag: ha

Sammy: take her out for dinner and make sure that place has to be beautifully decorated.

Rag: thank you

Sammy: one more thing. Don't forget to buy her something. Girls love expensive jewelry.

Raghav thanked Sammy and then left from there.

On the other hand Kalpana told Shanti to go home for the day. When Shanti asked the reason Kalpana replied with a smile, "I will cook for Raghav today. when Shanti left Kalpana made herself busy with household work like a housewife. She cleaned the house and then made all Raghav's favorite dishes. She thought to call Raghav to do lunch with her. Before she called Ragahv she decorated the dining table with candles and red roses. She scanned her eyes on the table to check if she missed something. Then she went to her room to take shower. After shower she took extra effort to get ready as she was doing that for Raghav. She wore a beautiful salwar suit and put on make-up. She came down. She took the phone in her hand to dial Raghav's number. In the meantime her doorbell rang. "It must be Raghav, mumbling to herself Kalpana ran to the door to open it. she saw a man standing in front of the door with a package in his hand.

Man: are you Mrs. Singhania?

Kal: yes

Man: I work for Raghav sir

Handing over the package he said, "This is from Raghav sir. Kalpana took the package and asked, "Is your sir in the office?

Man: no mam. He came to the office for half an hour and then left for the day saying he has some important things to do outside.

Kal: ok

Then the man left. Kalpana went to her room and opened the package. She saw there was a jewelry box. There was a piece of paper with written something along with it. She took it in her hand and read,

Hope you liked it. Get ready in the evening. I have a surprise for you. Hope you will like my surprise as well.

"Hm, that's why you are out today, Kalpana mumbled to herself and then smiled. She opened the jewelry box. Seeing a beautiful diamond necklace in it, "Beautiful, she whispered. Taking it in her hand she went to the mirror. She put it on her neck. She saw her looking like a princess through the mirror. She smiled. She turned to look at Raghav's picture which was hanging on the wall. "I like your gift, Kalpana said and continued, "and I am ready to go out with you but before that you have to come here to do lunch with me. "Let me call him, mumbling to herself she took her phone in her hand. She was about to dial his number, her doorbell rang. "I think it is Raghav, she mumbled to herself. After thinking something she added, "But he said he will come in the evening. She came down to see who was at the door. As she opened the door she noticed that a lady was standing facing her back outside. "Excuse me, hearing Kalpana the lady turned to face Kalpana. "Simi ji you? Kalpana was not only surprised confused as well. "May I come in? Simi said. Kalpana nodded her head. As she gave her space Simi got into the house. Simi looked around.

Simi: seems like he changed the decoration. Oh, how can I forget that he keeps changing the decoration the way he changes girls.

Kalpana stood quiet. She didn't like the way Simi was talking about Raghav.

Simi: So how is everything?

Kalpana didn't reply. When Simi was going to the living room passing dining area her eyes fell on the decorated dining table.

Simi: Seems like you are doing good with Raghav.

She turned back to face Kalpana who was standing behind her. As her eyes fell on Kalpana's necklace Simi said, "Beautiful necklace. Raghav gave you right?

Kal: Simi ji if you are here for Raghav then let me tell you, he is not here. Please come some other time.

Simi: I have nothing left with Raghav. I just came here to see how you ate doing with Raghav

Kal: I know you both knew each other...

Simi stopped her saying, "more than what you are thinking. I used to be his fianc. We were about to get married. Kalpana was just listening to Simi without uttering a word.

Simi: But it didn't work. Someone else came into his life. Don't you want to know who that person was?

Looking into Kalpana's eyes directly Simi said, "You. Kalpana lowered her eyes in guilt. "I am not blaming you for that, hearing her Kalpana looked back at Simi.

Simi: it was Raghav's nature. When he finds a new toy he dumps the old one. Somehow you became his zid that's why he got married to you. Once he will get you he will do the same.

Kalpana knew little bit about Raghav as she saw him with his client Ms. Ana in a hotel room but it didn't affect her the way it was affecting her now. She could not bear to hear more about him and she didn't know why. The reality hit when Simi said, "But I didn't expect it from a girl especially like you who has high self-esteem. I know Raghav has all those qualities which pull women like us toward him. But how can you fall into his trap when he ruined your life. Not only that he killed your father.

On the other hand before Raghav left the hall he checked the decoration to see if he had missed anything. He was very excited today. He could not wait to bring Kalpana here. He could not wait to propose Kalpana. He could see his dream come true and his dream was with his Kalpana.

It was 4 PM. After Simi left Kalpana was still sitting on the same position on the floor. Simi's each and every words were ringing into her ears. She hated herself for trusting Raghav and for coming close to him. She loved Prem but never allowed him to come close to her. She started dreaming with the person who not only ruined her life but killed her father.

5 PM

Raghav entered into the house with a smile. His smile disappeared when his eyes fell on smashed floor with food. "Kalpana, the only word came out from his mouth worried. Without wasting a second he directly went to Kalpana's room. She saw Kalpana was standing near the window facing her back. He walked toward her. Placing his hand on her shoulder he called her by her name, "Kalpana. Kalpana turned and slapped him hard on his face. "Don't you dare to touch me, Raghav was shocked with her sudden behavior. He looked at her. He could see rage into her eyes. Taking the necklace from the bed she came back to Raghav and said, "You wanted to buy me with this expensive jewelry so that you could get what you want right? Raghav was just listening to her without uttering a word. "Once you would get me you would through me the way you threw Simi. Hearing Simi's name he tightened his fist angrily. He raised his head to look at Kalpana. Pulling Kalpana's dupatta from her neck Raghav threw it on the floor. Before Kalpana could react Raghav pushed her on the bed and came on top of her. He tucked her both hands tightly so that she could not move. "Leave me, Kalpana said while protesting under him. Seeing her tears into her eyes Ragahv released her and got off. He looked at Kalpana who was still laying on the bed scared. "This is how I could get you if I wanted, Raghav shouted on her. He picked up the dupatta from the floor and threw it on her. Kalpana got up and stood little far from him lowering her head. He continued, "We been living under the same roof for a long time. I had enough chances. But I cant think of hurting you even in my dream. He softened his voice and said, "I admit that I had relationship with so many women as I thought women are only for enjoyment nothing more than that. "Your presence in my life made me change,Raghav said and added, "When you came into my life I got to know the meaning of respect, meaning of life and the meaning of LOVE. He looked into her eyes directly and said, "ha, PYAAR KARTOON MAIN TUMSE. After a little pause he added, "TABSEY JAB NO WAS IN BETWEEN US. Kalpana very well knew Raghav was talking about his own brother Prem. As much as Raghav tried he couldn't soften Kalpana's heart. Kalpana already made her mind to go far from Raghav's life. Looking into his eyes Kalpana said, "But I don't love you. What I have for you is only hatred. I am leaving you for forever. She walked to the almirah. She was about to open the door Raghav stopped her holding her arm and turned her to face him.

Rag: I am sorry Kalpana. I had no other option to explain you

Kal: sorry? For what? For ruining my life? Or for killing my father

Both of them were looking at each other. Few seconds later he released her hand and put his fingers into his hair in mixture of emotions tense, guilt. He walked to the window and stood facing his back.

Rag: you know what Kalpana, when I lost my whole family I was told that you were the reason. Leaving everything behind I was ready to take revenge. I ruined your life. Even I was the cause of your father's situation. I admit everything. But I didn't kill your father.

He walked toward Kalpana. Taking her hand in him he said, "Trust me. I want to know as much as you want to know the reason of your father's death.

Kal: trust and you, never. Since now you made me listen to you. Now you listen to me.

Looking into his eyes directly she added, "Stay away from my life. Hearing this, his grip loosened automatically. Kalpana took her hand away.

Ragahv loved Kalpana a lot that's why he could not go against her decision. He was just watching her packing her stuffs standing quietly. Few minutes later he came out as he couldn't see Kalpana leaving.

Among the lonely road Raghav was driving the car at full speed. While driving he was thinking all the time, he was going to lose Kalpana again. His heart was broken into pieces. Suddenly he was feeling restless, his heart was paining. He was feeling dizziness. Among of this he didn't notice a car coming in front of him.

In the hospital

It's been three hours Raghav was laying on the hospital bed unconscious. Once he opened his eyes he put his hand on his forehead as it was paining. He tried to get up though he was still dizzy. "What are you doing Mr. Singhania? hearing a nurse he looked up.

Nurse: please lay down. You are still sick.

Holding his bandaged forehead he said, "No, I have to go home.

Nurse: you cant go home. You are not cured yet.

Rag: you do not understand. I have to go

"Why are you rushing to go home Raghav? hearing a familiar voice Raghav looked at the door. Simi walked toward Raghav and sat on the couch next to the bed.

Rag: what are doing here?

Simi: This is called destiny. Somehow we come in front of each other. Your car hit mine.

After a little pause she said, "Look at you Raghav. How can I explain you; you are just wasting your time after Kalpana. He looked at Simi and said, "The destiny you are talking about is not actually called destiny. But coincident. And Kalpana... He paused and then smiled. Placing his hand on his left chest he added, "She is already here. Simi was looking at him with rage into her eyes. He continued, "You tried very hard to remove her from my life but how you will be able to remove her from here. Then Raghav left from there to talk to the doctor for his discharge. "I was about to kill Kalpana if you wouldn't come on time that day Raghav, Simi mumbled to herself and continued, "As long as Kalpana is alive Raghav will not let her go from his life.

It was 2 AM

When Raghav reached home, Kalpana was already left.

Super duper update.. Little bit of emotional one but shows how much Raghav loves Kalpi, how much Kalpi hates Raghav(as she thinks) and how much Simi dislikes Kalpi in her way... Hope Kalpi will be back to Raghav soon.. And Simi's true color to be seen by Kalpi soon.. Thank you for this lovely update Farahana.. Plz update next part soon if possible..
