Raghav and I stayed in the same society in fact his bungalow was next to mine. Unlike all other girls who sing praises on his personality,looks and behaviour I find him flirtatious, an absolute flirt who can start with any girl he comes across. He knew every girl in our society was ready to throw herself on him. How much ever I run away from this harsh reality but the truth at the end is he is handsome...very handsome. But am not a girl who will admit this on his face coz looks are not important in my list its the character that should be strong and moreover behavior too...and that is where he fails to make a place in the list of those few men or guys with whom I hang out.

But destiny... I should admit this thing we can have control on almost everything of our life but destiny eeehhh...its super duper plans are enough to make your life go out of control.

During Ganpati festival we all guys thought of visiting the nearby well not so nearby temple which was almost 10-12 km away from our society. We had taken two cars and I particularly avoided to sit in the car in which he had occupied his place. We were having a fun time. It was nice to visit the temple specially when the festive mood is on its peak. The vibrant atmosphere can make anybody, how much ever dull mood he/she is carrying, cheerful. I was also equally cheerful and don't ask me about Raghav seeing so many girls around him, who were actually staring at him as if some Royal prince has stepped down to visit the temple made him cheerful all the way. After offering prayers something bad happened or should I say destiny executed its plan.

While I was busy in finding my shoes and Raghav was as usual busy in appreciating those stupid idiot girls with whom he had met just hour before. Poor girls why can't they site the difference between appreciation and flirting!!! Is their IQ level so low or is it girls like guys who flirts with them. This is something way beyond my understanding. Raghav looked at me and passed his signature smirk while I just rolled my eyes and went ahead to sit in car and drive back home.

"Car!!!! Damn where is it??? Don't tell me they were so much busy amongst themselves that they forgot me. "Gadi kaha hai???" He asked "Sorry...they forgot us" I noted to myself. "I asked Gadi kaha hai" "I stole it" he kept looking at me while I looked everywhere but him. "I didn't know you're a thief" I looked at him in disbelief. Did he actually took my words seriously or is that he has found a chance to talk with me. In either case I don't want to talk with this flirt. I just rolled my eyes yet again and started looking for the car. "Since when did you start this business of stealing cars." He asked teasingly. I so wanted to strangle him but no he is messing with Kalpana Jadav and I'm definitely not going to give in. "From today...ye meri pehli chori hai." Saying so I started walking knowing well that there's no point in finding the car. They have gone.

Raghav followed me trying every bit to irritate me. "Maza aaya chori karne mei." I give up no body can be as irritating as him. He is the limit. "Stop it Singhania. Don't you see I'm not interested in talking to you." "But I'm...otherwise I'll get bored" With fuming eyes I turned towards him and blurt out "I am not your time pass...try these tricks on those nincompoops." He smiled shamelessly and we started walking again.

After half hour I gave up. Walking with these heels is such a pain. I sat on mile stone to take some rest. "What do you think of yourself...kahi ki Rani ya princess ho...just look at your attitude...you know what I don't know what do you think of yourself but you're just an average looking girl." I read that tease in his eyes and chose to remain silent. I don't want to die in jail in the crime of killing him with bare hands. He went on the middle of the road to ask for some lift. He was trying his charm to impress people but poor guy failed miserably. I smiled looking at him and should I say I enjoyed his supposed failure and started looking at my phone but no it was dead. "Wow no phone, no cash and such an idiot for company. Could I have asked for a better night than this... I guess no."

While asking for lift I stole a glance at her. The cool breeze was playing with her hairs while the moonlight was bathing her with an unmatchable glow. She wasn't an average looking girl, she is dusky beauty with big black orbs enough for me to drown in. She is different, matchless and someone whom I love to tease. "If you're done with your staring session then find a lift soon. I want to go home. "Hello I'm not your servant...so stop ordering me and by the way I have not insisted you to sit here till I get some help nor I have taken your responsibility so stop bossing around. And if you wish to go home come and help me." "Excuse me!!! I am just an average looking girl remember. When you failed to use your charm and get lift how can I even try." Saying so I got up and started walking again. Didn't want to break my head with that guy.

"Attitude" after waiting for approx 45 mins when I didn't find any vehicle I too started walking or more appropriately running to catch up with her. After runinng for 25 mins I saw her. She was walking slowly courtesy her heels. "Women!!! I don't understand what fascination they have for high heels." "Suddenly I felt someone was there behind me. I opened my heels to use it as a weapon but...but not so surprisingly it was him" "why are you panting? Were you running to catch up with me" "No freaking way...he huffed I didn't run after you Jadav" "Don't lie Singhania...just look at yourself. If this is because of walking then you badly need to see a Doctor" "Can't you just talk properly with me Jadav" "In your dreams Singhania." "Ain't you scared" "of whom? You." "Hahaha...goons Oh! I just forgot woh to tumhari hi biradari ke hai." "Then in that case you should be the one who needs to be sacred what if they attack you... What if they injure your face how will you woo those stupid girls " "jealous" He again started irritating me. "Haahahaha shut up"

Sounds of 3-4 bikes filled the air and sudden pang of fear touched my heart. "Is it...No...no...no please bappa help...I cannot expect this overly smart guy to be of any help to me." Just when I opened my eyes we were surrounded with almost 8 guys. "I cannot even think of calling police my phone is dead and he has not brought his phone. What to do" inside I was scared but my outer appearance remain unchanged. I still wore my confidence. "I looked around they were 8 and were looking lustily at Kalpana."

"Kaha jaa rahi ho itni raat ko...company chaiye to hamari le lo." My blood boiled in anger and I shouted "just shut up...jaane do hame." He rolled his eyes and said "Agyakari bachhe nahi hai jo tumne kaha aur hat gaye...gunde hai." I looked at him at once and started walking but soon they stopped my way by making a circle. "What you guys want." He asked this time. "We definitely don't want you" they replied to Raghav. "You are allowed to go but leave this girl for us." Saying so one of them came ahead and started walking towards me. I was looking at him with disgust while his eyes were... I was ready to slap him when he was about to touch my hand when...when Raghav held his hand just a lil above mine. "I'll definitely go home but not without her." I looked at Raghav. There was strong determination in his voice. A sudden wave of guilt arose in my heart and I felt shameful for talking with him like this when he is actually helping me out in this adversity.

"I'll save you from these goons but you have to promise me that you'll become my friend and will talk to me properly" Those feelings of respect were soon replaced with hatred again. I looked at him with utter disbelief "Are you in your senses... In such a nerve wrecking situation you're trying to crack a deal with me." "If you agree or else... And anyways I am anytime better than these goons so C'mon make up your mind... Otherwise...He hinted towards his grip on the goons hand and then looked at me leaving no option but to agree. After that I saw a fierce side of him, it was dangerous and I couldn't stop myself to adore him. He took the stole I was wearing and then what started was nothing less than a roller coaster ride for me.

He fought with each one of them with the help of my stole... Sometimes tying their hands or some times tying it around their waist or their legs. When someone tried to come up with knife he lifted me knocked that man down with my heels. "God I never knew heels had so much power nor did I knew that he has so much of machoism." One by one everyone was on road while he stood ahead me covering me or rightly saying shielding me from those bunch of gutless people. "He didn't let anyone come near to me."

Soon police came as patrolling was going on due to festive season. They were all knocked down. "What is going on here." I told them the entire incident that took place few mins before. "Oh so young man you helped the lady." "Yea sort of...I helped this damsel in distress." "Singhania what the hell." "What!!! He asked and I replied." "Damsel in distress...like really." "I mean if I wouldn't have fought with them do you really think these two heels of yours were sufficient enough to protect you. At least say thanks to me." He gave back to me. I chose to remain mum for this time he was right.

We were offered lift by police and soon we reached our society. "Come tomorrow and file complain against them. ""Sure" I said. "Sir make sure they don't come out if jail in this lifetime." He nodded and went away bringing an end to this looonggg night. I started walking for my home but stopped in my tracks. Something in me told me to be fair with him. I turned around and saw him talking with watchman...cooking up story for why police came here. I went towards him and asked "Singhania" he looked at me. "Friends" I extended my had for friendship. I think he deserved. May be I misunderstood him. He for few moments looked at my hand which was stretched out for friendship and then at me. Smilingly he accepted my friendship.

We started walking for our homes when he said "You're looking really nice today...absolutely beautiful." My senses got alert with his words. "Ethnic clothes really suit you. You know Jadav you have the best eyes. They are so big and beautiful. They can kill anyone...me too." AND HE STARTED..."Some people can never ever change and Raghav Singhania tops that list. "Singhania I'll kill you if you'll start flirting with me." "No you can't...Remember the deal...you have promised me that you'll talk to me properly." "GO TO HELL"
