She did not stand her ground when her gifted pen was snatched away from her; she did not stand her ground when her mother willingly gave all her love to Pakhi; she did not stand her ground when her mother opted to pick Pakhi's happiness over hers. Nope she did not, nor will ever because for her, she is willing to be used as a pawn to ensure Kamla feels great. WHY? Well, because that dus saal baad promo expressly told us, I live my life only for you aai, in the hope you become mera aur mera hi! Maybe thats selfish then?

Kalpana has told Raghav where to stick it, yes she said she will wait for him, but she has every intention of living life to the fullest in that one year with her family achieving her parents' dream, knowing deep down her and Raghav are essentially finished. She is not the one going out there finding Raghav, nah! He is the one finding her everytime, and then going home and playing happy family. He is the one in the quest of tarnishing her reputation. If Kalpana truly wanted to be a homewrecker, she would have jumped on Raghav the moment he put that sindoor on her, and say right then, lets go, am willing to sleep on your bed, you keep avenging Pakhi, I wont care, but we have to be together. She can say this dialogue anytime and Raghav will happily take her, but she didn't nor will ever because she does care for Pakhi's feelings, she knows hurting Pakhi will hurt her Aai and thats a risk she is not willing to take.

Yesterday, she had no interest in Raghav, she was cold towards him! That speaks volume. She hid him because she did not want to be subjected to more physical abuse by her parents, not because she wanted to romance him on the side, in order to affect Ra..Khi's shaadi. She has given them one year to live and fall in love, and tomoz when Rags tells her I dont want you back, she will happily obliged and move away, thats Kalpana Vithal Jhadav for you. Kill her, abuse her, insult her: but at the end her heart is bigger than the ocean: she forgives but she does not forget. She forgave Raghav simply because he helped her fill in her insecurities, he made her his world, something she had always wanted but never acquired in her life. And for someone like Kalpana who has had a battered childhood thanks to her mother, to be made to feel that special by him prior to what he did to her, is not something a girl can easily forget. Its human behaviour unfortunately.

(Oh and btw TP mein Pakhi was just as shameless, she blamed Tanya only and not Anshuman for her husband plotting against her 24/7! We shouldnt overlook all the facts just because she left her husband for calling her an adulteress. She reaped what she sow by forgiving him the first time😆😆)

I agree, this were the most disappointing moments of the show!!

The pen incident was before the drowning incident.. Kalpi was changed after that. She has even questioned her mother about her partiality. Correct me if i am wrong coz I m following this show after leap..

Post leap Kalpi wasn't soft towards her ayi.. Remember swimming competition.. she dint bother to tell her ayi about it. Even Kamla was shown tellingVitthal that Kalpi doesn't talk to her much.. But now Kalpi is behaving as if her mother is her best friend. She was the one who challenged Pakhi to keep her mother to herself but just the day after marriage she sent her mother to pacify Pakhi.. Kalpi wasn't that selfless. Kalpi was always a practical girl.. From when she became so mahaan??

N Kalpi is not giving Rags time to work on his relation with Pakhi but to clear all the mess. She may be aware of her mother's doing but she firmly told her that Rags is her hubby and that marriage means a lot to her. She is ready to live this 1 year for her family but she is ready to wait for Rags as well.

M not tagging Kalpi as home wrecker.. She isn't one.. but She keeps on saying that she won't meet Raghav and will live her life to the fullest but is Raghav letting her do that?? A self respected girl like Kalpi can never take lift from RaKhi. She has to be firm and tell Raghav to stop meeting her else she won't think about that 1 year deal and he will lose hr for forever.

I have not seen yesterday's episode so I do not want to comment on this particular part about her coldness and all. But she should have told her to leave immediately instead of listening.

He made her his world and destroyed her small world which had a loving father.. Kalpi always wanted to have someone to love her fully but wasn't her father everything to her?? The father who understood her.. This girl was always living a practical life.. This guy came to her life to make her feel special.. He let her dream.. She was building castles in dream and suddenly he broke all!! He let her feel that she was always correct in believing that her destiny is not good and she is no one's priority!!

Anyone who has experienced the kind of love Kalpi and Raghav have will know what I am talking about. They are soulmates they understand each others pain and sorrow. I wanted her to slap Raghav and she did, I wanted her to resign and she did. I wanted her to tell him that he had hurt her the most and if you look at the sindoor incident, after their first hug when she pushes him away her eyes says it all. There is no need for words, she communicates with him in the way they are used too. These guys are so gud that even if they are not speaking there eyes convey it all.Yes she should be given more crispier dialogues and she should not follow her Aai blindly, but I have a feeling that this girl will come back and come back with a bang.</font>

Well, just to add my POV along with the others here, I am noting some points of mine as to why I support Kalpi's character and not Pakhi's character.

1. Pakhi never consulted anyone before getting married nor did she go and ask Raghav if he really loves her but had her own assumptions. She was ready to get married instantly and no girl of today's or earlier generation would get married to a guy instantly even if she loves him like crazy.

2. After knowing the guy married you for revenge, Pakhi should have either hated Rahav or if she really loved him so much that she went against her parents, she should have tried to console him first, understand his feelings as he was orphaned for 20 years, and then tried to win his love.

3. Kalpi was ditched by Raghav but understands his feelings and sorrow since he was an orphan for 20 years and has been rude to others due to his loneliness. He got back his mother and after knowing the Kapoors deeds, he became furious and made a wrong decision but he never tried to use Kalpi for his revenge nor did he want to hurt her. She came to the temple on knowing that Raghav is regretting and wants to correct his decision. She is not wrong by giving him a second chance as she loves him and trusts him. She considered Raghav's sindoor marriage as for her, she was already married to Raghav in her soul and this sindoor marriage implied the same. She loves him and is only giving him a second chance which is not a crime at all.

4. Kalpi has told Raghav to stay away for 1 year and she never called him during this time nor did she go to meet him. It was Raghav who always came to meet her. She loves Raghav and so if he comes to meet her, one cannot expect her to push him away, tell him you get lost and throw him or slap him to go away immediately. She pleaded him by joining her hands so that he goes.

5. Kalpi trusts Raghav and she told him that if he loved Pakhi, she would back out immediately without any thought. If in this one year he gets close to Pakhi, without telling him a word she will leave him and not try to make him forget Pakhi completely and come back to her. This is what Pakhi on the contrary is doing by saying that she will make Raghav to forget Pakhi.

At the end, I have never been in love but have been told that love is being selfless and it is letting the other person free. If that person is yours, he will come back to you and if he does not, he never loved you at all. This is what Kalpi is doing. I do not mean to hurt anyone's feelings.
