THE CHAWL

Vitthal and Kamla's relation had strained. Pakya as usual kept quite but there was a difference in that quietness. Earlier he used to keep quite only to understand the situation and respect the views of his parents. But now he kept quite because he did not want to say anything. He wanted to distance himself from everything specially from the people who reminded him of his dearest sister. But what an irony, he himself was a person related to Kalpi and missed her day and night. The day Kalpi left the house without informing anyone, everything changed in that chawl. Even Manda was no longer the same. Vitthal anf Kamla were no more on talking terms. Pakya was no more a fun loving person. He did not even tease Manda. While Manda missed Pakya's innocent and cute banters and mostly her fights with him on pretty nothings. Manda stopped all her taunts on the Jadavs while she herself missed Kalpi a lot. Kamla was as usual thinking only about Pakhi and Raghav's denial to marry her. Even now she did not think about Kalpi. Vitthal wanted to search for his daughter but did not know where to go. The day Raghav came searching for his beloved he saw a ray of hope and vowed that he would never let anyone or anything come between the two lovebirds. While Pakya silently asked him to get his sister back which was very well understood by Raghav. Sammy was there to handle everything behind Raghav. He prayed to god for Raghav and Kalpi's happiness. He knew Pakhi was manipulated by her parents when Pakhi told about their plan. He just wanted to see her happy as well.

KAPOOR HOUSE

Prem returned from his business trip. He saw daadi's condition and got furious over his parents for not taking care of his beloved daadi. He was waiting for his parents to return from Paris along with Pakhi. Just then Prem heard some sobs coming from Pakhi's room. He opened the door only to find Pakhi crying profusely. He went to her and held her arm as lightly as possible but next what happened shocked him even more "Pakhi tum toh Paris mein thi na? Phir vapas kab aayi vo bhi mom aur dad ke bina?" She did not say anything and just hugged his brother as if life depended on him. She sobbed continuously in his chest. Prem was very much affected and pulled her from his chest he made her sit on the sofa and asked her to tell him everything. Pakhi told whatever happened in the chawl and how she separated the two souls in love. His heart pained to see his sister in that state. He asked if Neetu and Sahil knew about it. Pakhi told that it was their plan to surprise Raghav "They made me wear this dress and asked him to marry me on the same mandap where Kalpi and Sammy were to get married. But there was nothing between Kalpi and Sammy, it was always Raghav and Kalpi. I mistook it bhaiya. Its all my fault. Kalpi left without saying anything bhaiya. And Raghav he denied marrying me. I separated them bhaiya. I separated them. Agar Sammy ne mujhe samjhaya nahi hota toh pata nahi kya hota. Main teen zindagiyaan barbaad karne chali bhaiya. I just wish ki Raghav ko Kalpi mil jaaye. " She again started sobbing. Prem understood that Pakhi mistook Raghav's gestures but his parents "Mom-Dad ne Pakhi aur Raghav ki shaadi ke liye haan kar di. Kaise?? Vo toh Raghav ko kabhi pasand hi nahi kartey the. Phir...yahan hua kya hai jab main nahi tha. Kya kisi ko bhi Raghav aur Kalpi ka pyar pehele se nahi dikha tha?" Prem doubted his parent's intentions and so asked "Kya kisi ko bhi pehele se pata nahi tha?" Pakhi somehow controlled her tears and said "Sammy ko pata tha infact usi ne toh unki lovestory mein cupid ka kaam kiya tha. Maine kai baar unn dono ko saath dekha, kareeb dekha par...samajh hi nahi paayi ya phir yeh kehe lijiye ki dekh kar bhi andekha kar diya." She paused for a while and then continued "Uss din jab Kalpi ke topper banne ki party di thi Neetu ne toh wahan pe bhi Kalpi aur Raghav ne ek doosre ke saath dance kiya tha. Kamla maa usey vahan se kheech ke le gayi aur yahan Neetu mujhse kehe rahi thi ki Kalpi Raghav ko phasa rahi hai. Jabki Raghav mujhse kabhi pyar karta hi nahi tha." Prem could never imagine that his mother, Neetu Kapoor would throw a party for Kalpi. he understood the black motives behind his parent's intentions. If anyone would have asked him a week before he would have surely given into his parent's wrong motives but today looking at his sister's shattered state he only had one motive and that was "Punish Mom and Dad." He wanted to destroy Raghav and Kalpi but not by putting his baby sister's life at stake. He promised her that he would get the best match for her and get Raghav and Kalpi together. Somewhere he started liking Sammy for his sister but he wanted to take it slow.

Was this some kind of indication that things were now going to take a drastic turn? Was this some sort of positive air or evilness was still lurking around?
