CHARACTER SKETCH

KALPANA JADAV

A very intelligent, sharp, down to earth and honest girl. Dreams to become something big in life but on her own. Deeply and madly in love with Raghav. Her childhood companion and now her boyfriend or rather to be more precise her to be husband. Her best friend is Pakhi and also a sister. Fondly called as Kalpi. Female protagonist of the story.

RAGHAV SINGHANIA

A hot headed, arrogant, smart, suave and very intelligent businessman. He was always a ruthless man until Kalpi entered his life again after 10 years making it turn upside down. Loves Kalpi more than his own life and can go to any extent to make her happy. Wants revenge against Kapoors. He has only one friend cum brother, Sammy, who has been with him in every situation of his life. Nicknamed as Rags. Male protagonist of the story.

PAKHI KAPOOR

A lively, bubbly and fun loving girl. Loves her Kamla maa and can do anything for her. Kalpi's best friend and considers Kalpi to be her sister. Got attracted towards Raghav but with time realised her feelings for Sammy. Always stands by the truth and is a very stubborn girl. Lovingly called Pooki.

SAMAR RAIZADA

Lovingly called Sammy. A very very happy go lucky man. Best friend of Raghav and also a brother figure to him. Considers Kalpi to be his one and only sister. A brotherly figure to Pakya and also his mentor. Loves Pakhi unconditionally and makes her realize her feelings for him.

PREM KAPOOR

Pakhi's elder brother and very shrewed just like his parents. He is not that bad as his parents but their influence make him do things which are not right. Turns positive after he fell for a middle-class girl and Kalpi's friend.

ALINA SAXENA

Kalpi's boarding school friend and very hardworking and honest girl. Belongs to a middle-class family. Prem's love interest. Initially hated Prem but slowly and gradually developed feelings for him.

PRAKASH JADAV

Kalpi's brother. A very lively and happy go lucky guy. Loves his sister a lot. Respects Sammy and Raghav like his elder brothers. Fell in love with a very rich Marathi girl, Maya, but hesitates to say it to her. lovingly named as Pakya.

MAYA LOKHANDE

Friend of Raghav and Sammy. 5 years junior to them. Fell in love with Pakya but hesitates to confess being unsure of the latter's feelings.

KAMLA JADAV

Wife of Vitthal. Biological mother of Kalpi and Pakya and milk mother of Pakhi. Loves them unconditionally but fails to show it to Kalpi due to her 100% attention to Pakhi. Always stands by the right and carries her self respect everywhere.

VITTHAL JADAV

Kamla's husband. Father of Kalpi and Pakya. Loves his children more than anything else in this world. At times gets furious on Kamla for her ignorance towards Kalpi.

GOURI SINGHANIA

Wife of Late Mr. Singhania and mother of Raghav. Suffered a memory loss but started regaining it with the help of Kalpi.

MANDA

Another baai of Singhania chawl. Good at heart but runs behind money.

NEETU KAPOOR

Wife of Sahil and biological mother of Prem and Pakhi. Loves her children a lot but fails to prove it Pakhi miserably. She is partner of Sahil in every crime of his and respects her mother-in-law a lot. Prem and Alina's love affair comes as a big blow to her.

SAHIL KAPOOR

Husband of Neetu. Father of Prem and Pakhi.Mastermind in crime. Killed Raghav's father, Mr. Singhania. He is the main antagonist of the story.

Chapter 1

Saga of true love

There she was standing near the lake. Lake where she first time felt that her mother is not her but belongs to someone else. There first time she understood the meaning of being someone's second priority.

Years had changed but her fate is still same. Time changed but pain is still same. She was gazing at Sun which was setting down. It was the irony of situation that her heart was also setting down by breaking in finer pieces. Her heart broke when her mother always left her for her other daughter. And now those broken pieces broke in more million pieces as her mother wants her to sacrifice her love, who was helping her to join her broken heart.

Tears were dried long ago now just its traces were left. She felt too weak to cry or fight. How could she fight and fight with whom when her own mother wants to kill her soul. She had learned to mask her true emotion with fake smile just for sake of her mother's happiness.

All the moment she shared with mother and Raghav were running in front of her eyes. There were few happy moment she shared with her mother. Moments in which Raghav is present were best moment of her life or one can say those were the only moment in which she lived. Her knees weren't supporting her any more she felled on ground on her knees.

Why always me. Why always I have to sacrifice my happiness my love. Why my life is so complicated. Is it my fault to love someone? Is this my fault
