Chap 5 :
Kalpana spreads her stole on the arm so none can see the mark. Baba is not here and She can't meet her dada.But If Rahul and Samrat see this, What will they do Kalpana don't know. they might end up hurting Raghav and Raghav will get a chance to hurt her friends. Raghav can't hurt her family but can hurt her friends. She don't know why does he hate her so much?
Kalpana leaves the office in hurry. Her eyes are still moaist, her arm is paining.She takes an auto and sits in it. She does not know that someone is following her.Kalpana reaches the Rahul's home. Purba and Raina are sitting on the hall worried. As she enters , they starts asking is she alright. Kalpana calms down them.Soon Rahul and samrat join them and they start discussing the events of day. Kalpana tells them everything about fire alarm and that she was caught red handed skipping the part where Raghav hurt him. But it is tough to fool purba and she notices the finger mark on her hand but she keeps mum. After everyone leaves, She corners Kalpana.
Purba : what is all this Kalpana?He had hurt u physically. I am not gonna leave this jerk.
Kalpana : Calm down purba. I know u all care for me and U all helped me and are helping me. But sometimes we have to fight alone. hurting me proved his frustration that he can't win against me. and today u called me
Kalpana. U hate this name right ?
Purba : Our name is same but we are so different from each other. Do you know My Dad gave me this name? My mother and I loved him dearly. But He cheated my mother and my mother died because she could not take it. I started hating everything about him and the name that he gave me reminds me my mom's pain. I hate him Kalpana.
Kalpana hugs Purba tightly. Purba is crying (maybe first time in her life)
Kalpana : Don't say this purba. Please stop crying.
Purba : I love my mother Kalpana. I missed her on my wedding. she was not with me becoz of my dad.
Kalpana : We can't change our past but we can make our future. U have got a very good husband and family. Now don't cry baby, ur make up will be ruined.
Purba hits her softly.
In Raghav's home :
After completing his conversation on phone.
Sammy : Raghav, My man followed Kalpana . He knows the area where she lives.
Raghav : I want to know the complete address.
Sammy : someone stopped him thinking he was following a girl and He lost her.
Raghav : Gr8. Any news about Rahul Shah.
Sammy : No one stay at the address which he had given in his office. Our man tried to follow him but he is too smart for them.
Raghav throws the glass which he is holding on floor in anger.
Raghav : Change those idiots.They are professional and they can't follow a person. I want all information in 2 days Sammy. in 2 days.
Next day :
Kalpana is getting ready for office when purba comes there and gives her lunch box.
Purba : I have made noodles for u, baby.
Kalpana stares at her shocked.
Kalpana : R u alright? U had made noodles. U just know how to pour water into glass from bottle.
Purba (blushes) : I have made this for Rahul. Actually he likes it.
Kalpana teases her : Ok, now I can understand. But is it edible ?
Purba : Ok , if u don't want , give me back the tiffin.
Kalpana : I am sorry dear.
Kalpana keeps the lunchbox in bag and leaves for the office.
She reaches office . while entering, she collides with Raghav and loses her balance.
Raghav holds her. Kalpana stands up and mutters a thanx. while she is managing her stole, Raghav notices his finger marks on her arm. and then looks at the Kalpana who is busy in hiding it. Her eyes do not have any glimpse of pain. They are deep like ocean. They are bright like light. They are calm like a storm is hidden beneath it, they have innocence and mischeief of a child.
Kalpana goes to her desk and starts working ( Actually pretending). she keeps looking at door. Its lunch time, But her eyes are still fixed at entrance.
Kalpana's POV :
It is hard task. May be it will take time. I should have my lunch.
She opens her lunchbox and a shrill scream escapes from her mouth. she drops her lunch box and jumps on her chair. she is standing on her chair screaming. Her lunch box have cockroaches in it. Every one ( mostly girls) of the office starts screaming as the cockroaches spreads in the office.
Raghav and sammy come out of their cabin and ask the matter and then they notice cockroaches in the office.
Raghav : where is Kalpana? This time she crossed all the limit.
and Sammy shows him Kalpana who is standing on chair and screaming.
Raghav goes near Kalpana and Sammy calls the house keeping department.
Raghav : Kalpana, get down from the chair.
Kalpana : I can't. I don't like cockroaches.
Raghav shouts : get down and everyone keep silence. Everything will be alright in 15 minutes. So get back to your work
Kalpana gets down from the chair.
Raghav : Miss Kalpana come to my cabin.
Raghav and sammy enters the cabin and Kalpana follows their suite.
Raghav is furious.
Raghav : What is all these ? Is this ur school Kalpana? What do you think that I will terminate you if you play these stupid pranks.
Kalpana : I have not done it. Someone played this prank on me.
Raghav : You are a damn good liar.
Kalpana : I am not telling lie.
Suddenly Peon enters into Raghav's cabin and gives Kalpana her phone.
Peon : Mam your phone is ringing from a long time and everyone was complaining.
Kalpana takes her phone and it starts ringing again. Kalpana notices Samrat's no and tries to cut it and Raghav snatches her phone in anger and in the process, Call get received and it is put on speaker.
Kalpana hears Samrat's voice.
Samrat : Hey Kalpi, I think u had opened ur lunchbox. I got to know about this prank few minutes back. from the time I am trying to call U. But I think I am late. Now listen what to do with this innocent and cute creature. For today, Cockroaches are enough. Why are not u speaking. OK, I have decided to keep it as a pet and we will call it 'Raghav'. only difference between that jerk and it is that it is not poisonous.
Kalpana snatches her phone from Raghav's hand and cut it.
Sammy and Raghav are staring at Kalpana furiously.
sammy : So cockroaches are not part of ur plan.
Kalpana stammers : U have heard it, Right ?
Sammy : Then what was ur plan or what was that innocent and cute creature?
Kalpna : Nothing.
Raghav furiously : Just answer it.
Kalpana whispers : A little innocent snake and you heard it is not poisonous.
saying so, she runs out of the cabin.
Sammy can't control his laughter anymore and bursts out into laughter. Raghav is seeing this sammy fafter Trisha's death. Trisha's death made his happy- go-lucky friend all gloomy. Afterall she was his only family.
Sammy : This girl is height. sanke is a cute little innocent creature.
A smile breaks out on Raghav's face but next moment it fades away.
Raghav : Sammy, we were going on a wrong way.
Sammy : What do you mean Raghav?
Raghav : Apart from Rahul, more people are helping her. The person who stopped ur detective from following her is her friend . I am 100% sure of it.
Sammy : How can u be so sure?
Raghav : Kalpana once mentioned that she has some good friends.
Sammy : Then we can get information from Kamla bai and Pakya.
Raghav : I am sure Kamla Ma does not know her all friends and Pakya is not gonna reveal anything. and I have a doubt he helped Kalpana in her plan.
Sammy : We can get information from her school. I will send my people to collect information.
Raghav : Ok.
Sammy : Do u know Raghav I can't believe that this girl is responsible for my sister's death. but everytime I see her , I remember trisha's last words. She snatched my sister from me. I will never forgive her.
Raghav comforts Sammy : We will not forgive her.
