Chap 6:
At night:
Raghav's house:
Sammy and Raghav are drinking at house.
Sammy calls someone and tells to collect information about Kalpana from her boarding school and also tells him to keep an eye at the area where Kalpana is currently living.
Raghav : 4 days, Sammy and after that She will beg in front of us. But I will not forgive her.
Sammy : We don't have any information about her till now.
Raghav : I will get first installment of information at tonight Sammy.
Sammy : How are u so sure, Raghav?
Raghav : Lets wait and watch.
Saying so, Raghav takes sip from his glass.
On other side:
Kalpana gets down from an auto and starts walking. Suddenly three or four goon type people surrounds her and starts misbehaving with her. Kalpana gets frightened and starts screaming for help. Samrat who is keeping an eye for Kalpana so that none can follow her, hears her scream and rushes to her. They both struggles against them and finally the goons run away. Samrat hugs and comforts frightened Kalpana. They both are unaware someone has noticed everything and captured the whole incident in his camera.
Kalpana and samrat reaches home. Raina and Purba console Kalpana.
After sometime they sit on the hall for their round table meeting i.e. for discussing events of the day.
Kalpana is furious on purba for giving cockroaches in her lunchbox.
Purba(explaining herself) : Sorry babes, I wanted to teach that devil a lesson and I didn't know that u had planned something like that innocent. If I knew it, I would have packed your sweet little creature.
Kalpana then turns to Samrat.
Kalpana (in anger): Do you keep talking on phone though the person with whom u are supposed to be talking does not utter a single 'Hello'. Kalpana mocks Samrat's voice 'We will keep it as a pet and Call it Raghav'
Samrat : Wah !that jerk heard it. Great.
Rahul is listening all this silently.
Rahul : Kalpana I thought you are sensible. I am ignoring Samrat and Purba. They are gone case. Do you really think that your these stupid tricks will help you. It is not school and you are not playing prank to bunk a class. When u joined office, I thought u want to know reason behind their hatred. But You are busy in playing this stupid pranks. People are following u and me to know where we live. They are waiting for our one mistake.and one thing ur stole can't hide the mark of your arm from my eyes. I was silent as I thought you will realize the seriousness of situation. And today's stalking episode is not an abstract event and I am sure about it.
Samrat who is listening all this is fuming in anger. Purba and raina are also shocked to hear this.
samrat : I will kill that rascal for hurting Kalpi.
Rahul : Kalpana, I think you have listened Samrat. Now You will not continue ur job. Me and Samrat will take care of them.
Kalpana(in a deep and sad voice) : I have to continue my job otherwise I have to pay a large amount for breaching the contract. I am not going to run away from the situation. I have to face it. I know you all care for me but please guys don't do anything stupid. This mark will be vanished with time but the wounds which are engraved in my heart, will never heal.This time I want to fight alone, I just need ur encouragement. Please trust me, I will not hide anything from u all afterwards. Please Rahul, try to understand me. It is just matter of 4 day.
Rahul : Ok, Kalpna. But act wisely. We will be there for u always.
and they all give each other a group hug.
Next day(4th day)
In office, Raghav calls Kalpana in her cabin.Kalpana knocks the door.
Raghav : Come in Kalpi.
Kalpana is shocked to hear her nick name from Raghav but she does not react.
Raghav : I have a surprise for u.
Saying so, Raghav hands over her some photographs.
Kalpana is shocked to see the photographs of yesterday's stalking episode.
Kalpana in anger : Rahul was right. It was ur plan.
Raghav smirks : I must say ur so called husband is quite intelligent.
Then he points at a photograph in which Samrat was supporting Kalpana.
Raghav : But I don't think the person in the photograph is your so called husband.
Kalpana : It is not matter of ur concern.
Raghav smiles: Samrat desai, son of your father's best friend. attended hostel with u.
Kalpana : Just stay away from him.
Raghav : I am not going to run behind him. He is coming to meet me.
Raghav's phone rings and he answers : Send him in my cabin.
Kalpana sees Samrat entering into Raghav's cabin.
Raghav : Samrat, I think you know my assistant supervisor.So, no need of introduction.We should talk about business.
samrat : Great. I also like people who come to the point soon
Raghav : I just want you to slap Kalpana and I will give u a large sum of money.
Kalpana is shocked to hear it.
Samrat (without any expression): How much money will you give me ?
Raghav : The amount u can't imagine. 20 lakhs and I will also give u a job
Samrat : Wah ! 20 lakhs for a slap on friendship is not a small amount. What u say kalpi?
Kalpana does not utter a single word.
Samrat gets up from his chair and moves toward Kalpana.
Raghav is happy thinking that it is his first victory. He is going to snatch her friend.
But Samrat hugs Kalpana and then turns to Raghav.
Samrat (in anger) : Mr. Singhania, money can't buy everything.U are lucky that I promised Kalpana that I will not hurt u.
Samrat then turns to Kalpana.
Samrat : Kalpi, I had kept my promise. Please take care of yourself.
Saying so, Samrat leaves from there.
Raghav sees Kalpana smiling.
Raghav is furious. No one dares to insult him like this and this man had threatened him. He is not gonna leave him.He turns to Kalpana.
Raghav : your friend cares for u.He hugs u, comforts u when ur so called husband is not there for you.people calls this type of relationship illegitimate.
Kalpana is furious hearing this.
Kalpana : I know what relationship I share with my friend. But some people are so narrow minded that they see dirt in every relationship.
Saying so, Kalpana goes out of the Raghav's cabin.
BuT raghav is still wandering about Kalpana and Samrat's relationship. Why is he not able to see her with someone else?
5th day:
It is sunday.
Kalpana, Raina and Samrat plan a surprise for Rahul and Purba. They send them on a movie date so that they can enjoy little privacy.
And in home, They prepare Rahul and Purba's favorite food and set their room for a candle light dinner.
In Raghav's Home:
Sammy is very happy as he gets all information about Kalpana's friends.
Sammy : Raghav, I got all info about Kalpana's friends and u will be shocked to know about them
Sammy places photograph of Samrat.
Sammy : U know all about him. Kalpana's very good friend.
Then he place photograph of Rahul.
Sammy :Rahul Shah, He is a software engineer, He is in love with Kalpana.
Raghav frowns at Sammy.
Sammy : Wait Raghav, more is coming.
Then Sammy places Photograph of Raina.
and Raghav is shocked to see it.
Sammy : Don't be shocked . Yes her name is Raina Shah, younger sister of Rahul shah.Your stupid and irritating PA.
Then Sammy shows him photo of Purba.
Sammy : Purba aka Kalpana Yadav aka Kalpana Rahul shah.
Raghav looks at Sammy.
Sammy : Don't be shocked. Kalpana and her name is same.Love interest and wife of Rahul shah.
Then Sammy shows him copy of the marriage paper and points at bride's signature.
Raghav : Interesting. Kalpana has got really good friends who can go to any extent to help her.
Sammy : Then how will u separate her from her friends? they will never ditch her for money.
Raghav : Everything and everyone come with a price tag. just You should know how to bargain.
6th day :
In office,
Kalpana is sitting on her desk and self thinks:' Kalpi, you have to do something. Just 2 days are left. This time u have to do something big.'
Sammy comes in the office and announces that some foreign clients are coming and Everyone should behave accordingly.
Kalpana self thinks 'God, thanks for being there for me always. foreign clients..gr8. I will leave office today with termination letter.'
Clients enter the office and Raghav and Sammy introduce them to their employees. Then they move to discussion room.
Kalpana follows them with some files.She enters into the discussion room and says sorry in shrill voice and walks towards Raghav but bumps into a chair which is near projector intentionally and projector falls on the floor gaining attention from everybody. she then goes to Raghav and hands over him files and asks sorry for the inconvenience she has caused.
Raghav takes file from her and asks her to get out.
Kalpana pretends to be nervous and takes water bottle. She removes the cap of the bottle and takes the bottle near to her lips and then drops the bottle intentionally . water is spilled on one of the clients.
Kalpana asks forgiveness from the person and to her horror, the person tries to touch her in wrong way.
Raghav notices this and gets angry. But before he could do anything, Kalpana slaps the person hard.
The person is angry and asks Raghav to sack Kalpana if he wants the project.
Raghav walks toward the person and gives her a tight slap and asks him to get out as he is not interested to deal with cheap people like him.
All clients and Sammy leave the discussion room. Kalpana tries to get out from the discussion room but Raghav stops her.
Raghav smirks : Not so soon Ms. Kalpana yadav. I want to talk to u.
Kalpana : I am not interested.
Raghav : you will be interested , Kalpana. after all I am giving you the termination letter which you wants so badly.
Kalpana : R u serious.
Raghav : I am serious Kalpana.
He gives her the termination letter and Kalpana gets happy.
Raghav's POV :
Ur happiness will not last long Kalpana. just enjoy ur short lived happiness. becoz after today, happiness will be not in your fate. You will cry everyday.
Kalpana rushes to her desk happily and takes her bag. She is about to leave the office when her phone rings.
Kalpana receives the call.
Kalpana : Hello, Dada.
Pakya :Hello, Kalpu.
Kalpana notices fear in his dada's voice.
Kalpana : what happens dada? why are u sounding so worried?
Pakya : Police arrested Samrat in forgery charges.
Kalpana (in shock): What ?
Pakya : Uncle and aunty are crying.
Kalpana : I am coming there Dada.
As soon as she cuts her dada's call, Kalpana gets call from Raina. Kalpana receives the call.
Kalpana can hear the sound of Raina's sobing.
Kalpana: Don't worry, Raina. Samrat will be alright.
Raina : What happened to Samrat ?
Kalpana : You don't know about Samrat. then why r u crying?
Raina : Police arrested Bhai in forgery charges.
Kalpana : What? They arrested both Samrat and Rahul. I am going to police station to meet them. U and purba reach there.
Kalpana rushes the police station in which Samrat and Rahul are locked up. Purba, raina and her dada are waiting for her.
They plead to Inspector to allow them to meet Rahul and Samrat.
constable bring Rahul and Samrat. They all shocked to see bruises and wounds on Rahul and Samrat.
Purba in anger to inspector : How dare you to touch my husband and his friend. I will complain about you. You can't torture innocent people.
Inspector smiles and gestures constable to take back Rahul and Samrat in the lock up.
Inspector's phone rings. He attends the call and then gives his phone to Kalpana.
Kalpana hesitantly takes the phone and she is shocked to hear voice of Raghav.
Raghav : Have u met your friends. I had requested inspector to allow you to meet them. So you can see the wounds on your friends.
Kalpana : how dare you to do this to samrat and Rahul?
Raghav : I have not done anything serious till now. But if you don't reach my home in 30 minutes then you knnow police's third degree.
Kalpana senses determination and hatred in his voice.
Phone is dropped from Kalpana's hand. She looks at the questioning eyes of Raina, Purba.
Kalpana turns to her dada : Please take care of Purba and raina. then she tells purba and raina that nothing will happen to Rahul and samrat.
she rushes out of police station and tries to stop auto. But she does not get one. She starts running on the road. Time is running away from her hand. Finally she gets an auto . she reaches Raghav's home and checks her watch. she is 2 minutes late. She rings the bell and servant opens the door and takes her to drawing room. Raghav and sammy are sitting on the sofa.
Raghav smirks at Sammy : Calls the inspector and tells him to start torturing Rahul and samrat.
Kalpana : No, please don't do this to them.
Raghav : You are late Kalpana. then again he looks to Sammy : Tell them to start with Samrat. he dared to threaten me and he should pay for it.
Sammy dials the number but Kalpana snatches his phone.
Kalpana is crying : Don't involve them in all this. U people hate me. But what have they done to u ? Please stop it.
Raghav smirks : They tried to help you against me and this is their mistake.They challenged Raghav Singhania.
Kalpana sits on her knees : I am begging in front of u. Don't hurt them because of me. I can't be able to live with this guilt that they are getting suffered because of me.
Sammy can't control his emotions any more.
He retorts : wah Kalpana, U can't live with the guilt if your friends suffer becoz of u. But what about my sister, are u not feeling guilty that my sister died becoz of u.
Kalpana is shocked to hear it and stands up : Your sister Trisha died because of me . What are you saying? She was killed in accident.
Sammy : and You were responsible for her accident. Your one lie that Raghav loves u pushed her towards death.
She loved Raghav madly.
Kalpana is in disbelief as she had never said this to Trisha. She and Trisha had discussed about Raghav but Kalpana always used to bash Raghav as he was rude to her and Trisha always tried to defend Raghav. She was a sweet girl.
She tries to say something but she gets a tight slap on her cheek and she is shocked to see her mother is standing in front of her.
Kamla came to meet Raghav and listened the last part of their conversation and she is shattered to know that Trisha died because of Kalpi.
Kamla : I have not expected this from you. You lied to trisha and your one lie ruined one home Kalpi.
Then Kamla turns to Raghav and Sammy : Raghav baba and Sammy, forgive my Kalpana. She is just a child. Please forgive her.
Kalpana is crying and self thinks : When my own mother does not believe me? why do sammy and Raghav believe me?She remembers all the pains and negligence she suffered from her mother since her childhood . Her mother insulted her by not trusting her.Her aai did not trust her in result fiasco. she did not trust when she tried to prove the photographs of her and Sammy are fake. She removed tears from her eyes. There is no glint of pain in her eyes any more but a madness and a determination to hurt her mother by hurting herself.
Kalpana looks at Sammy and Raghav and in a stiff voice : I accept I am responsible for everything. I will accept any punishment that you will give me. But Keep Samrat and Rahul out of it.They have not done anything wrong to you.
Raghav and sammy are shocked to hear this as they are expecting explanation and crying session from kalpana
Kamla looks at Kalpana disbelievingly. She is worrying about her daughter. she knows Raghav well. He will destroy her daughter's life but she is so helpless today that she can't help her daughter. Her daughter is going to suffer becoz of her own mistakes.
Raghav looks at Kamla ma and he gets softened.
Raghav calls Inspector and tells him to leave Samrat and Rahul.
Raghav then looks at Kalpana : Your punishment is still same. You are going to marry Sammy tomorrow.
Kamla intervenes : But Kalpi is already married.
Raghav : Kamla ma, Kalpi is a damn good liar. Rahul is her friend's husband. Kalpana will stay here today and her marriage will take place here tomorrow. I can't forgive her as my Trisha died becoz of her. If u can forgive me, its ok. otherwise I am accustomed to losing people whom I love.
Kamla turns to leave but stops hearing Kalpana's voice.
Kalpana : Raghav, please ask ur business associate not to keep my baba in delhi in the false pretext of work. I know it is your plan to keep my baba away from my home during marriage.
Her words softened : I want my baba to attend my marriage.
Kamla leaves Raghav's home and Raghav takes Kalpana's phone and asks Servant to take Klapana in guest room.
Kalpana turns to sammy and Raghav : I want to talk to my friends for the last time.
Raghav is reluctant but Sammy dials the number in Kalpana' s phone and puts the phone in speaker.
Kalpana : It is my personal call.
Raghav : If u want to talk with ur friends then talks with them on speaker.
Kalpana reluctantly agrees.
Raina receives the call.
Raina : Kalpana everything is alright.Bhai and samrat got released. where are u? when r u coming?
Kalpana : I am not coming today.
Raina :what you are not coming?Has vittal uncle came home? I am putting the phone on speaker. everyone wants to talk to u.
Purba : Please don't worry darling. Just come home soon. I have handled Rahul but Samrat is chanting ur name. He is staying here today. otherwise uncle and aunty will be shattered to see his wounds. They have beaten him very badly.
A tear escapes from Kalpana's eyes and Raghav notices it.
Kalpana : Purba take care of Rahul and Listen to me Raina, take care of Samrat. I know he is in safe hands.Just inform aunty that he is staying with u guys otherwise aunty will worry about him. Give Rahul and samrat turmeric milk. It is good in healing injuries.
Rahul : Kalpana, why are u talking in riddles. Where are u?
Kalpana : I am safe and Sound. Please take care of yourself.
Samrat : Kalpi,come home now. I want to talk to u.
Kalpana : I can't come Samrat. Please understand.
Kalpana cuts the call. She had heard Rahul and Samrat's pained voice. She is responsible for it. She leaves with the servant without giving a glance to Raghav and Sammy.
In Sammy's Room :
Sammy is thinking events of the day. He is so close to his revenge. But he is not happy. Kalpana had accepted that she was responsible for Trisha's death but why can't he believe it today though he has been believing this since Trisha's death.
In gym:
Raghav is practicing boxing on punching bag.Trisha's last words are echoing in his ears. Kalpana had accepted her fault and He is going to punish Kalpana for that. Then he remembers the moment he spent with Kalpana and He punches the bag more hard. He remembers Kalpana and Samrat and the tears in Kalpana's eyes for samrat. He is angry and furious.
Raghav goes to guestroom and sees Kalpana sitting on the corner of bed. Kalpana stands up seeing him in the room. he does not know wheather he is burning in rage or jealousy. He gets closer to Kalpana and grabs her hair.
Raghav : you lied trisha that I love u. I lost her beause of u. U lied me that you love me.I want to kill u. but it will be small punishment for u. I will torture u everyday. You will die every second . And ur Sweetheart samrat will also pay for your deeds.
Saying so, he throws her on the floor.
Raghav tries to leave the room but Kalpana's voice stops her.
Kalpana is pleading : Please don't hurt samrat. he has not done anything to u. It is between me and u. Keep Samrat out of it. I am begging infront of u.
Raghav leaves the room in anger.He self thinks She is pleading for Samrat. What relationship she shares with samrat.
Precap :
Sammy will get to know the truth of Trisha's death.
Raghav will realise his feelings for Kalpana.
It is said that there is thin line between Love and Hate.hate can turn into love and love can turn ito hate. But when the person you love does not acknowledge your existense. your presence does not envoke any feelng in her.she is indifferent toward u. Will u ever be able to convince her that you love her.
