Chap 4:
Kalpana is working on her desk when a man enters into the office.
Kalpana recognizes him as one of the clerk of the court. She gets panicked and messages Raina this.
The man asks for Sammy at the reception. Sammy comes to him and they both walk towards Raghav's cabin. After few minutes, the man comes out of Raghav's cabin and Kalpana notices Raina is going toward Raghav's cabin.
Raina stands near Raghav's cabin to listen Raghav and Sammy's conversation and she is pretending that she is trying to recall the thing for which she came to talk with Raghav.
Raghav : R u sure Kalpana got married.
Sammy : Marriage papers have her name only Raghav.
Raghav : Show me. I will check it.
Sammy gives paper to Raghav.
Riana panics if they will notice the signature, they will get to Know that this signature was not of Kalpana's.
Making up her mind, She enters Raghav's cabin.
Seeing her Raghav puts the paper on table and Raina notices Kalpana's Signature.
Raghav : Miss Raina, u should knock before entering my cabin.
Raina starts acting nervous : I am sorry sir. actually I want to request u something.
She starts crying .
Raghav :Just stop crying and tell me what u want to say.
Riana trying to control her sob (Obviously acting) : Sir I have joined two days back but I have to take one week's leave. It is urgent sir. Please.
Raghav : Its ok.
Raina : Thank u, sir.
Raina is still nervous and takes the glass of water from Raghav's table and the glass slips from her hand ( Actually she drops it intentionally ) and Water spilled on the papers of raghav' s desk.
Raina again starts her acting of being nervous and starts cleaning Raghav's desk with her hanky.
She intentionally rubs the Kalpana's signature part in the paper so hard that it tore of.
Raghav calms her down and sends her out of cabin.
He is angry as Raina had torn the page But he can see the name of the bride i.e. Kalpana Yadav.
Raina comes out of cabin and messages Kalpana that work is done.
In Raghav's Cabin
Raghav : why did u choose this girl as my PA. She is stupid and irritating.
Sammy : Just chill Raghav and concentrate on our mission.
Raghav : In one day, my desk was spoiled twice. First Kalpana poured coffee on my laptop intentionally and now this girl spilled water on my desk.
Sammy : what! Kalpana poured coffee on ur laptop intentionally. have she lost her mind?
Raghav : Miss over-smart thinks I will throw her out of the office if she does this.
Sammy : It is very childish.
Raghav self thinks : Indeed what Kalpana did is childish.It is very tough to understand her. A moment she behaves as a mature person and next moment she behaves like a child, She and her stupid antics. He remembers Kalpana's stupid flirting with Sammy and a smile flashes on his lips.
Sammy : What happened ? Why are u smiling?
Raghav : Nothing.
Sammy : You look good when you smile. She always wanted to see u happy.
Raghav knows what Sammy means by She.She was sammy's sister and Raghav's Girlfriend Trisha.
Raghav and Sammy lost her because of Kalpana and He will never forgive Kalpana for that.
Trisha's last words are still echoing in his ears : 'kalpana..told..Kalpana ...Raghav...loves... her' and she breathed her last. She met accident after meeting Kalpana that day. In her phone last dialed number was of Kalpana's. The driver of the car which ran over Trisha swear that suddenly she came out of nowhere in the road like she was not in her senses. Before he could stop his car, it ran over him.
Trisha was always possessive about Raghav and Kalpana's one lie to Trisha that Raghav loved her had cost Trisha's life.
Raghav made this lie truth when he trapped Kalpana in his fake love and then broke her heart getting engaged to pakhi.
Flashback Starts:
After his engagement with Pakhi,Raghav was expecting Crying and blaming sessions from Kalpana. But Kalpana surprised him.
Kalpana : Don't be sorry for me, Raghav.I am little hurt but it will heal with time I am alright and I am happy for u. It is good that U have realized that we are not made for each other before marriage.I do not suit in your world. Pakhi will keep u happy. She is from ur class and society.
Raghav stunned to hear it and looked at Kalpana. she was calm and little sad but not distraught.
Sammy and Raghav wanted to punish her for What she did to them. They wanted her to suffer everyday.
But he got to know that Kalpana agreed to marry someone else at her aaji's insistance.
He got furious and made the situation to force Kalpana to marry Sammy.
He knew That it would hurt Kalpana as she has to face him everyday after marriage.
Flashback ends.
Raghav : I will be happy when I will see Kalpana suffer the way we did. I will snatch everyone from her.
Sammy : Relax Raghav, we will teach her a lesson. now concentrate on the presentation of Mr. Mehra.
Kalpana gets happy seeing Raina's message. She pretends to concentrate on her work but her mind is formulating new plan to truoble Raghav and Sammy. Sometimes back she was awestricken but now she is planning some mischief. she is like this only. Her baba's teaching always helps her to overcome any situation. She remembers the incident when her mother saved Pakhi instead of her and she complained it to her baba. she was 8 years old then.
Flashback -start
Kalpana : Baba, I love aai a lot but why she always chooses Pakhi over me. why don't she love me. Now I will not love her.
Baba : Don't say this Kalpi. Your mother loves u a lot.Just remove expectation from the relationship and u will be very happy. Love should be unconditional Kalpi.
Kalpana : But baba, how can I be happy when my own mother does not care for me.
Baba : Just believe in your love Kalpi, oneday your aai will realise your worth.
Kalpana : will that day ever come baba?
Baba : Kalpi , be happy and optimistic. I want my princess to be strong and happy. Happiness is not come from outer world. It is ur mental state. If u chooses to be happy, no one can snatch it from you.
Kalpana in her innocent voice : I am not understanding what are u saying.
Baba (in his affectionate voice) : U will understand but it will take time.
She hugged her baba happily.
Flashback - end
And She understood the meaning of her baba's every word with time. She learned to be happy in every situation. Sometimes it became hard but her love for life and her positive thinking make situation easy.
Kalpan leaves office for the day and sitting on the hall,Kalpana, samrat, Rahul, purba nad Raina are discussing the events of the day.
Raina informed them that she can't go office for 7 days and explained them the water incident.
Samrat gets furious : How can u be so stupid, Ria ? I can't trust that jerk and send Kalpana there alone. And Kalpana you will not go office tomorrow.
Raina gets hurt by samrat's words and tries to leave from there. Samrat holds her hand and says : I am sorry ria. You know I am little protective about Kalpi. I had promised Vittal uncle that I would take care of Kalpana when We left for the hostel.
Kalpana coughs.
Samrat starts smiling : Kalpi also protected me sometimes.
Kalpana coughs louder.
Samrat : Ok, I accept I got into the trouble and Kalpi helped me everytime.
They all bursts into laughter. but Rahul notices his sister's discomfort.
he excuses himself and Raina
Rahul : What r u thinking Ria.
Raina : Bhai, Do samrat love me? I have always seen Kalpana and Samrat together.
Rahul : There is difference between love and friendship. Sometimes we mistakes friendship as love. But you are lucky, Samrat is not confused about his feeling. He loves Kalpana but as a friend But he is in love with u. Just understands the difference between friendship and love.
Next day.
Kalpana comes office alone.
She calls her dada.
Kalpana : hello dada.
Pakya : Hi, Kalpu where r u ?
Kalpana : In office.
Pakya : what are u doing there.
Kalpana : will explain u later. please give me an idea to create havoc in office.
Pakya : Don't say u are running short of ideas. Samrat had told me about every prank that you played in your hostel.
Kalpana : I am dada. Please help me.
Pakya : Ok, let me think.(Pause) Why don't u trigger fire alarm in the office.
Kalpana : wah ! dada . you are best.
Kalpana goes out of office and buys a matchbox and enters into the office. She goes to a smoke censor which is in deserted corridor. she lits the match and put it below the sensor. After few moments fire alarm starts ringing.
Her collegues get panicked and start running out of office. Kalpana comes to her desk and taking her bag, starts leaving.
As she turns, She finds Raghav is standing there.
Raghav grabs her arm tightly and drags her to his cabin.
Raghav smirks at her:Nice trick Kalpana, But have u forgotten that the whole office is bugged with cctv cameras. When u were pulling ur stupid act, I was watching it and I could stop ur act that time. But don't you want to know why didn't I stop my employees from leaving.
Kalpana keeps mum and starts struggling to free herself from Raghav's clutches.
But Raghav tightens his grip and Kalpana can feel his fingers strong as iron are pressed against her skin. She winces at this pain.
But Raghav does not pay attention to that.He comes closer to her and says : So, I can spend some time with u sweetheart.
Kalpana feels disgusted and tries to stop Raghav using her free hand. But Raghav comes really close to her and then pushes her on the floor.
Raghav furiously : It is your Place, Kalpana. I will crush you and your pride in 6 days.
Kalpana starts crying in pain and disgust. She can sense hatred in his eyes. She looks at her arm on which Raghav's fingers expression had been printed quite evidently.
She stands on her feet and asks him : Why do you hate me ? What I have done to u?
Raghav : Don't act that you don't know.
Saying so, raghav leaves the cabin.
Kalpana stands there speechless. Raghav's love was fake but today his hatred is genuine. what she had done to him that he hates her so much.
