Part 43

Kalpi was trying to call Priya to check how she was coping, while Priya's face lit up thinking that she now has an opportunity to create problems for the couple considering she was very aware of Kalpi's work ethics and would be upset if she could make it seem that Raghav had cancelled an important meeting because of their lunch date. Sammy was intently watching Priya, suddenly realizing when he saw her facial expression that she was definitely up to something so decided to walk in her direction, making it in time to hear that she was talking to Kalpi on the phone. Sammy without even thinking pulled her phone away from her, as if he was eager to talk to Kalpi, so as to prevent Priya from saying anything untoward to his friend Kalpi. Kalpi was surprized when she heard Sammy's voice, asking him if he was well and that she called to find out if Priya was managing with the work load. Sammy was happily explaining to Kalpi that Priya was fine and that her friend is so sweet, telling her that one of the investors wanted to schedule a meeting during lunch time, but Priya would not allow that, so she got the investor to reschedule meeting as she did not want Raghav to miss his lunch date with Kalpi.

Sammy could see the anger and annoyance in Priya's face, as she was making no effort to hide it, but Sammy pretended to be indifferent as if he did not notice the change in her expression, silently thanking God that he got there in time, before Priya could say anything. Kalpi told Sammy that she needed to go and will catch up with him soon, as she had an important meeting before lunch to attend, and told him to tell Priya thanks for looking out for her and Raghav. Sammy smirked thinking that his friend is too sweet and trusting towards evil Priya and he was going to block her every action against them, exposing her to the people that mattered the most to him. Sammy handed Priya's phone to her, telling her that he was sorry for yanking her phone away; as he was just so excited when he heard her saying Kalpi's name and wanted to speak to her. Priya had to force a small smile telling him that it was ok, she didn't mind, but Sammy knew very well that she did mind as it was written all over her face, making him smile inwardly walking away from her.

Raghav was making his way to meet Kalpi, but decided that he wanted to surprise her with a little gift, as she was bringing lunch daily for them both and he has not done anything to thank her. Kalpi was getting impatient, as she was looking at the huge digital clock in the reception area outside her office, wondering why Raghav had not arrived as it was now five minutes after the start of the lunch hour, yes, she started to become restless and it was only five minutes that had passed, thinking that he was not going to come there, she decided to call him, as she picked up her phone, she noticed a figure standing at the door, looking shocked.

Kalpi could not see the face of the person standing at the entrance of her office, but the way her body responded, she knew it was her Raghav. She smiled sweetly looking at the person holding a beautiful display of her favorite flowers; the display was so huge that she could not see his face. Kalpi excitedly walked towards him to help him with the beautiful flowers, taking some parts of the stunning flower display from his firm hands, sharing an intense eye-lock as their eyes made contact. They both came out of their trance when they heard some people giggling as they were passing by the office, telling each other that the couple looks so much in love, wishing they too will be lucky to find love like they have.
Kalpi was blushing; wanting to move away from there, when she heard Raghav asking her if she was going to leave his friend outside, as he brought him along to join them for lunch. Kalpi was confused wondering who Raghav brought to join them, knowing how much they look forward to their alone time, making her look in Raghav's direction with questioning eyes, when she noticed him moving away from the door as if he was giving some space for the person to enter, but no one was there, making Kalpi smile thinking he was joking, until she looked at Raghav who was looking lower than their eye level, making Kalpi follow his eyes and look in the same direction and could not help but smile from ear to ear, as she laid eyes on the most adorable light pink fluffy teddy bear that was was huge, comfortably placed at the entrance of her office. The fluffy bundle reached Kalpi's shoulders when she was standing next to it, taking it into her arms, hugging it tightly saying that she knows what she wants to call her new friend.

Raghav stood watching her in admiration, thinking that even after achieving so much in her life, she still appreciates simple gestures, feeling more love and affection towards the person that stood in front of him. Kalpi walked towards Raghav, sincerely thanking him for the great gift, telling him that she is shocked at how much he remembers about her, as she once told him that she liked fluffy toys but because she needed to study, study, study; there was no time for her to play with such nor did she have any fluffy toys even if she did have time to play. Raghav wiped her tears away, telling her that she needs to smile, as that was the reason he did what he did, he did not go through all that effort to see her tears. Raghav told her that he needs to see her smile, as that will make the trip of him carrying the fluffy teddy all the way to her office, bearing all the taunts and sly remarks people were passing as they saw him; worth the while. Kalpi smiled hearing what he said, going towards him, passionately hugging him; still holding on to the teddy, which was starting to make Raghav think that she was going to give the teddy more attention than him. Raghav laughed at his thoughts, as he was becoming jealous of a fluffy toy, wondering what more he was going to go through because he was hopelessly in love with his Kalpi, trying to stop his thoughts, Raghav looked at Kalpi cupping her face in his hands, asking her what she was going to call her new friend and she replied in a sweet soft voice, "Ragna"
