Kalpi arrived at the office as per her normal routine, having met Prem on the way down from the penthouse, Raghav and Prem exchanging gentle smiles and the two lovebirds enjoying their little disagreements en route to the office, sharing numerous intense eye locks during that time. Sammy was already at the office thinking how he was going to handle the situation regarding Priya, as for once he wanted his friend to have happiness. Kalpi was informed that the shortlisting for potential candidates has been completed and she should do a final check before they can arrange for the interviews. Kalpi was eager to get the post filled as she did not want the building association to incur any problems due to Priya leaving. There were five candidates short listed and Kalpi was reviewing each application thoroughly, smiling when she came to the fourth candidate. It was none other than Ms Paakhi Kapoor; she knew that Paakhi would be the ideal person for the job, as she was very well aware of her potential and efficiency. Kalpi thought that this would be an ideal opportunity to give Paakhi a second chance, knowing in her heart that Paakhi will not let her down as she has truly changed.
Kalpi called Mr Deshmukh, requesting a meeting regarding the PA post, as she wanted to discuss with him that she had reviewed all the applications and the best candidate suitable for the post was Paakhi, as she fulfilled all the essential requirements. Kalpi remembered that Mr Deshmukh was present at the time she had exposed Prem and they were all aware of the fact that Paakhi was the one that betrayed the company, realising that he may not like the idea of offering Paakhi employment, but she wanted none the less to make an attempt. Kalpi discussed each application with Mr Deshmukh, leaving Paakhi's application last, and she did by far have the most impressive CV, so there was no doubt that she deserved the job based on merit. Mr Deshmukh without having knowledge that Paakhi was the last application that Kalpi discussed, started telling Kalpi that the ideal person for the job is the person that she discussed last; Kalpi smiled before she further explained who the last person was, shocking Mr Deshmukh. Kalpi was determined to convince him that despite everything that happened in the past they cannot deny that she is the ideal candidate and they should not penalise her for a mistake she had made in the past. Mr Deshmukh trusted Kalpi's judgement and was happy to give Paakhi an opportunity to redeem herself.
Kalpi was ecstatic, informing Mr Deshmukh that she will request the secretary to draft the offer of employment and advise Ms Kapoor that should she accept the job, she would need to report to the office the next day, which Mr Deshmukh smiled telling her that he hopes that have made the correct decision. Kalpi reassures him that everything will go well and that she does not foresee any issues.
Prem was trying to figure out a way to get Priya to trust him enough to tell him her plans, considering even pretending that he will be available to assist her, so decided to call her on the pretence that he wants to wish her luck for her first day. Priya was excited when he called her, thanking him for his friendship and kindness, which made Prem feel sick that he had to pretend to be friendly with such a malicious person. Prem tried to ask her if she has thought about how she was going to achieve her goal, without mentioning the whole story, which made Priya laugh, telling Prem that he should surely know her by now, and meaning that she definitely has a plan. Prem was now tense, therefore starting asking her about her plan, and that she should let him know if there was anything that he could assist with. Priya told him that Raghav and Kalpi met daily during lunch hour, so for starters she is going to deliberately book meetings for that time, so Raghav would not be able to meet with his beloved Kalpana, making Prem burn with anger, thinking how can she even think of taking that away from them, considering their busy schedules that was probably the only time they were able to be together. Prem pretended to be indifferent, telling her that she had a smart idea and hopes that things happen as they meant to be, which made Priya smile unaware of the hidden meaning in Prem's words.
As Prem got off the phone with Priya, he called Paakhi who had just received the call regarding the PA job, so she was overjoyed that she will be able to protect Kalpi with ease. Paakhi told Prem that she was offered the job, and will need to start the following day, which brought a little smile to his face, but that was short lived as he remembered Priya's plan which she was most likely going to start executing the same day. Prem told Paakhi about Priya's plan, asking her to inform Sammy as he is the only one that can ensure that the meetings are booked for before or after lunch, so that Ragna can continue their lunch dates. Paakhi reassured her brother that everything will work out, as she will call Sammy and inform him likewise.
Paakhi called Sammy who was still pondering about conversation with Paakhi the previous night, smiled seeing her name flash on his phone, immediately answering as he knew it would be about Priya's plan. Paakhi told Sammy that she had good and bad news, deciding that she will give him the good news first, informing that was offered the job at Kalpi's office and will be starting the next day, further telling him about the bad news; that her brother called her as he managed to talk to Priya regarding her plans. Sammy was appalled that Priya could be so devious, and has obviously thought her plans out, reassuring Paakhi that she will not succeed as he will make sure of it.
