CHAPTER 5: BEGINNING OF FIRST WAR BY THE POOR.

It was three days after Pakhi and Kalpi's birthday. The Kapoors prepared fake documents and sent a fake chawl demolishing notice to the chawl people stating that they have just 15 days within which they need to vacant the chawl as a mall by the Kapoors will be contructed here. T he news came crashing to the chawl people. Shocked would be an understatement. They were in trauma. Manda was the first one to speak up " Ab hum sab kahan jayengey". Kamla assured them that she would convince Sahil Kapoor at any cost. But Manda was not in her mind state and said " Arey Kamla taayi aapko kya karak padega. Aapki Pakhi beti aapko aur aapke poore parivar ko apne saath apne ghar le jayegi. Par hum sab ka kya hoga". Vitthal and Pakya puts her to shut "Tu chup nahi rehe sakti kya. Dekh rahi hain na sab kitne pareshaan hain phir bhi tu shaant hokar ek jagah pe baith nahi sakti. Khud kuch soch nahi sakti kamsekam hum sabko toh sochne de". Pakya asked Manda to stop blabbering and said "Dekh taayi iss waqt na mera aur in sab ka dimaag thikane pe nahi hai isiliye tu kuch ulta seedha mat bol varna hum sab tujhe tere ghar mein bandh kar denge. Chup chaap ek jagah pe baith jaa samjhi". Meanwhile Kamla to goes to Kapoor house. When she does not find Sahil there she decides to go ti his office. On the way she spotted Sahil's car and followed him to the hotel where he along with Prem had some meeting.
Kamla enters the hotel and stops them near the lift. She pleaded them to take back the orders but they refused. She almost begged infront of them by joining her hands but to no avail. Prem sternly said "Thik hai toh aap log humein dus saal ka kiraya dus thin ke andar de dijiye aur phir aap log vahan rehe saktey hain". Kamla was shocked at such a reply. She felt helpless and asked them to take back the orders again and again . The Kapoors dismissed her very rudely and went their own way. While going inside the lift Prem smiled and said to himself "Ab dekhta hoon Raghav tu kaise bahar nahi aata hai". Oblivious to the fact that Raghav was present there all the time and witnessed the whole scene. He smirked and said "Mujhe toh bahar aana hi hai Prem par tumhare hisaab se nahi mere hisaab se. Tumhara project cheen kar maine toh sirf ek choti si chingaari jalayi thi. Aag toh tumne laga di. Ab tum dekho tumhari yeh ek galati kaise tumhare parivaar ke barbaadi ka raasta kholti hai. Aaj ke baad tum log kabhi chain ki saans nahi le paoge yeh vada hai mera." saying so he left from there and went to the plae where Kapoors had there meeting. Raghav got all their plans regarding the mall without much effort and inwardly laughed at their foolishness. Meanwhile Kamla went back to the chawl and said "Humein apne hak ke liye ladna padega. Kapoor seth peche hatne se inkaar kar rahe hain. Ab yeh lada i nahi balki ek jung hai humari zindagi ki. Aur humein yeh jung har haal mein jeetni hi hogi."
Thus the war broke between the rich and the poor which was led by none other than Kamla.
