CHAPTER 3- BIRTHDAY WITH AN ACCIDENT
"WHEN TWO SOULS SHARE THE SAME PAIN , THE SAME ATTITUDE., THE SAME HAPPINESS AND SAME EMPTINESS BUT ARE POLES APART. YOU CAN DEFINITELY PICTURE THEM AS SOULMATES".
Its the birthday of the two girls Pakhi and Kalpi. Neetu planned a lavish party at their farmhouse and wanted Kamla to be away from it. So she gave her a day off. Here Kalpi thought Kamla will have no time for her birthday as Pakhi needs her. But to her surprise kamla took the day off. Here in the farmhouse Pakhi is badly missing Kalpi and Kamla. Meanwhile a helicopter landed near the venue and a man stepped down. Walked upto his car and drove off. Pakhi looked frustatingly and asked "Wow yeh ahi mera birthday. Koi aaya aur mitti udaa gaya." Meanwhile in Kalpi's house everything was ready and Pakya was going through the checklist "Cake- check, phool- check, candle- check, sajaawat- check, khaana- check, gift- check, aai- check, baba- check, mai khud- check, Kalpi-" Just then Kalpi entered wearing a purple evening gown. She looked breath takingly stunning. Here Pakhi was furious on learning the fact that Neetu kept Kamla away from the party and went away from there.
Kalpi was just about to cut the cake when Pakhi called Kamla and cried her heart out. She did not concentrate on the road ahead and met with an accident. Kamla became worried and left in haste without informing anyone. Kalpi was broken that her aai has yet again left her for Pakhi. Here Pakhi was hanging on the cliff and was about to fall when a strong hand came to her rescue. It was none other than Raghav. Once she was up she again started her tantums. Raghav being the way he is just held her hand and jumped off the cliff and said "Ab pata chala upar aur neeche ka fark". They came back to the surface and from there Raghav went his own way leaving a drooling Pakhi behind "He is so handsome" was all Pakhi could think about.While Raghav had a different view "Gosh! She is is the same tantrum queen. Iska naam Pakhi Kapoor nahi Tantrum Kapoor hona chahiye tha." said an irritated Raghav. Kamla reaches the place where Pakhi was and takes her to chawl. But Kalpi was nowhere to be seen. Vitthal was very much furious on Kamla for spoiling his Rajkumari's birthday "Aagayi tu kahan chali gayi thi ? Tujhe pata hai teri vajah se Kalpi ko kitna bura laga. Usne abhi tak cke nahi kaata". Here Kalpi is standing near the building where Kapoors live. She vows to become a memsaab and buy the whole building in which Kapoors live " Mai memsaab ban kar dikhaungi aur iss poori building ko bhi khareed loongi. Phir dekhti hoon kaun keheta hai ki bai ki beti memsaab nahi ban sakti". She was oblivious to the fact that someone was watching her intently and heard each and every word she said. He could feet her pain and wanted to pacify her. But din't know the reason behind such feeling and mentally smacked himself for having such thoughts "Pagal ho gaya hai kya Raghav? Kya soch raha hai tu?" Yes, it was Raghav. He was present there even before Kalpi came. He was looking at the building with hatred filled in eyes that wanted to see just one thing "Sahil kapoor- Destroyed". Kalpi entered her house and saw Pakhi and Kamla together. Her heart ached but she composed herself and said. "Baba". Everyone turned towards her. Kamla ran to her and asked "Kahan chali gayi thi tu? batakar toh jaana chahiye tha na." To this Kalpi simply replied " Kyun aai tu bhi toh gayi thi na bina bataye". Kamla became silent. Pakya brought the cake and asked both the girls to cut it togrther as it was their first birthday when they are cutting the same cake together. Little did any one know that every year it would be the same now.
