CHAPTER 2- FIRST MEET OF SAKHI
"YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT DESTINY PLANS FOR YOU. BUT WHATEVER IT DOES. DOES FOR GOOD."
Pakhi and Kalpi are in their final year of graduation. There is a swimming competition held in their college and both the girls participate in it. Kalpi wins the competition and Pakhi is declared runner up. The very same day Vitthal too gets a job on some anonymous person's recommendence. Now that called in for a celebration. But Kalpi still wondered as to who recomended her baba's name for the job. Little did she know that Raghav Singhania is back. Kamla was busy looking after Pakhi's grand mother who was ill so could'nt come for the family. Thus the trio left without her. Even after Kalpi's repeated explanations they ended up in a lavish hotel but when the bill came it took them off guard. It was too big an amount for them to pay. Prem yet again got a chance to insult and humiliate the Jadav's but to his bad luck before he could say anything the waiter came and informed them that they don't have to pay the bill as it is already paid. When Kalpi asked about the person the waiter said that the bill was paid by Raghav Singhania. Pakhi and the Jadav's were surprised yet happy to know that Raghav is back while the Kapoor clan were equally shocked and Raghav's return came as a big blow to them. After reaching home kalpi realised that she owes a thankyou to Raghav. So next she went out hunting for Raghavand after a lot of efforts finally she was successful in thanking Raghav, on phone though but still she was satisfied that atleast she thanked him. Moving out from the association office Kalpi wondered as to how did Raghav know that she will be searching for him. Getting no answers to her questions she went home. While somewhere in a bunglow Raghav sat smiling and knew that the fighter cock he once knew is still the same. He smiled and said to Sammy sitting infront of him "She is still the same Sammy, aaj bhi vo madat karne walon ko thankyou bolne ke liye unke peeche bhaagti hai...pagal kahin ki". He gave a small laugh while Sammy watched him and wondered " Really, how can a small thankyou make a person smile?". But here was Raghav who is believed to be the most khadoos person on earth is smiling and laughing just by recieving a thankyou. Sammy wondered " Kalpana ke baare mein Raghav ne sab kuch bataya hai. Lagta hai ab milna hi padega is ladki se jo sirf ek thankyou se iss kabhi na hasne waale Raghav ko smile karwa diya".
Many incidents took place in series where Raghav ended up helping Kalpi and her family without even coming infront of them. One such incident lead to the first meeting of Pakhi and Sammy. Yes, it was the exam paper leak fiasco. Prem very well knew that Raghav is always there helping kalpi and her family would surely come to light if something happens to Kamla bai's dream of making her daughter a memsaab. Thus he trapped kalpi in the case of leaking the exam papers and accused her. Prem said to himself " Ab main dekhta hoon Raghav tum kaise saamne nahi aate ho. Ab toh Kalpi ko bachane ke liye timhe saamne aana hi padega." and led out a small laugh. As Prem thought he recieved a call from Raghav in the evening asking him to come to his own construction site " Mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum itni jaldi haar maan jaogey. Mujhse milne ke liye umhe Kalpi ki madadat leni padi. Anyways chalo tumhari iccha poori karta hoon. Ek ghantey mein tumhari construction site par aajana main wahi intezaar karunga". Prem happily agreed and the line went dead the other side. Little did he know that he has done a blunder by saying yes to Raghav. Meanwhile Pakhi gets a call from an unknown number asking her to come to her brother's construction site "Agar tumhe janna hai ki Kalpi ko exam ke papers leak karane ke jhootey case mein kisne fasaya hai toh abhi ke abhi apne bhai ke construction site par aa jao, tumhe saari sacchai pata chal jayegi". Befor pakhi could say or ask anything about the caller the line went dead. Pakhi thinks to herself " Kaun tha ye. jo bhi ho agar kalpi ko bachaane ka rastaa mil sakta hai toh main zaroor jaungi". When Prem reached the site a car was already waiting there and thus asked Raghav to come out as there is no use hiding anymore. A guy stepped out of the car. He was tall, smart and very handsome. Prem being too excited blurted out everything regarding the exam papers inorder to prove himself superior and more intelligent that Raghav. But to his surprise the guy introduced himself as Raghav's friend Sammy and conveyed a message from Raghav " You better think in the right direction and do increase your thinking level". Prem was furious knowing that Raghav had again managed to outsmart him but before he could question any further, Sammy asked him to keep all his questions ready for Raghav " Tum apne sawal Raghav se poochna jab vo tumse milega filhaal toh tum unn sawalon ka jawab soch lo jo tumse vo poochegi" and pointed behind Prem. As Prem turns around he finds Pakhi standing there with accusing eyes. This was the first time Sammy and Pakhi saw each other. Pakhi's eyes drifted from Prem to Sammy and she wondered " kya inhone mujhe phone kiya tha? Kaise inko thanks kahungi? Inhone toh Kalpi ki problem ko solve kare mein meri madat ki hai par main inse kya kahoon?". Pakhi saw him enter his car and going. While Prem asked Paakhi to sit in the car and drove off. All the while Sammy kept thinking about Pakhi's hurt face. He said to himself "Raghav sahi kehe raha tha. Pakhi apne gharwaalon ki tarah bilkul bhi nahi hai. Uske paas ek saaf dil hai aur humesha sach ka saath deti hai".
