So much for initially promising a Khoon bhari maang type show! The woman fights alone in Kahani and KBM! She doesn't become bahurani! 🤢 Hell with EHT publicity team for misleading audience. Congo for fooling us for 6 months!👏

You proved woman can do nothing without getting married. Zero on her own.

Thanks for making a unique woman like Sakshi Goenka a sequel of saas Ramola Sickand. A Lalita Pawar with a glamorous face!😆

A plenty of tweets and posts were seen everywhere and Cvs can't show the marriage what people wanted for they already shown Shaurya as the worst ever not even to be called as a man...But people want this at hook and crook...And Cvs gave this, disappointing many of the loyal viewers..In fact at first, I am not at all Anti Dev or against his introduction bt seeing him as the most underdeveloped character I felt irritated...Once again since I am habitual to some shows like this I will give one more chance to EHT after this marriage hungama...

Thankyou once again for your wonderful posts👏...Will definitely miss it ..

Once Upon a Time there came Show which Hooked me, made me believe that Finally something awesome and different has come up in television! A show which made me recommend to my friends and family to watch to see this refreshing change of television!

And now today I bid farewell to that show!

The once upon a Time Thriller! The once upon a time Revenge Story is no more!

For me The show died even before its end (and God knows when It will end, may after Dev & Durga Child's child's marriage)

Farewell to all! 🤗 I was once active here... but as the pace of the show slowed my interest too...but now its a final farewell! 🥳

It would have been more interesting as a thriller. More corruption drama, more women empowerment, more criminal punishments. I will miss those a lot...

You are right. SP should have focused on other aspects than take same shaadi, saas bahu route.

But we are just left with our shouldas and couldas.

I did not want any romance at all. But if a guy had to be paired with Durga he should not have been a dumbo! Or bullied by one and all, walked all over like a doormat.

I know about the tweets and find it unfortunate that people have such limited perspective and want only luv stories that too with a rapist!

But partly CVs are also at fault for not setting up right expectations from a show. Content creators have responsibility. They cannot always go dumb route.

It is in vain.

Every word resonates, atominis! I hope CVs read this thread and make some changes!

Dev killed EHT! 🤢

Star Plus killed EHT...it forced EHT to become another dragging, predictable, saas bahu melodrama from its original promise of being a tense, gripping revenge drama!

They just had to introduce a dumb male lead, like a strong minded female lead can never be enough for a show!

They side-lined the original theme of rape, injustice and revenge, they side-lined Payal and now focusing on insipid love story!

I had started watching EHT with a lot of excitement, hoping to get some respite from Kekta shows and mindless productions!

But Alas, SP managed to divert it to its old formula!

We still dont know why Durga is holding back the vdo of RajMa 🤔...

OR why she didnt pursue her suspicions abt Karan-Kangna affair...half the time Durga looks like shes sleep-walking through her so called revenge! 🥱

Was this her only plan?... to marry Shaurya (fake marriage) and then destroy Goenka family from within? 😲

Must say Durga has no brains at all and is no match at all for Sakshi!

I dont understand how Dev can agree to marry Durga... unless he already has the hots for her...😆

What abt his Nitya jaap and his undying love for Nitya? 😆

The deal which was so important that Rajnath ignored Sakshi over it and even got Durga married to Shaurya is nowhere now!🤪

Everyone is always at home! Who runs the damned empire? Even Akash is on roads!🤡

Dev loves Nitya but will marry Durga for family? Or in hope of drawing clues from Durga? Kya pyar hai!🤣

Rajnath promises him he will find Nitya and he marries Durga over this toffee promise?😆

Dev D is lucky. He gets everything by default. Life saved twice without using brain. Now getting wife and Nitya on a platter. Born with silver spoon!🤪

Kishwer and Ayub K rarely tweet as much about EHT as they did earlier. Ayub K is doing another show as principal lead on Doordarshan now.

The team rarely shows enthusiasm online as they did earlier.

Dev had challenged and bragged a lot but achieved nothing. Things are just falling in his useless lap. Kya hero hai! 🐷

I think like many here I'm going to quit watching this show. I actually can't believe I'm saying this but I think even Durga marrying Shuraya might have been more bearable purely because I knew that I wasn't going to be force fed any cliche romance. No marriage at all would have been my preferred choice. How I wish Durga had been shown as cunning enough to do Rajma reveal during the wedding so it gets called off and the Goenkas are left with egg on their faces.

Instead the foolish girl is clearly playing into Sakshi's hands by showing how desperate she is to be apart of the Goenkas; lol even a fool like Kangana is going to notice something amiss when a girl who professes to madly love one brother marries the other in a jiffy when jilted. Any self-respecting girl would have cussed the person who suggested they do so to high heaven an left the Mandap with their head held high. Then again no self-respecting woman would have willingly agreed to marry a rapist; fake marriage or not.

Seriously after Dev-Durga marriage what can we expect to see after their romance? Shuraya redemption track and reforming? Wait I know he will repent and propose marriage to mentally disturbed Payal; then his 'true' love for her will magically cure her and the two will begin a happy married life alongside their loving parivaar. But wait no twist will come when Sakshi stirs drama between Durga and Payal and the latter will turn against her sister. In fact she will hate her for crippling her darling husband and then set out to take revenge on her. This is how CV's will keep the theme of the show alongside the Saas bahu angst.

TRP's will rise and old aunties and teenage fan girls cheers will mask the sounds of disgust from rape victims worldwide and anyone who has the mental and emotional capacity to see beyond the manta of 'shaddi conquers all'.
