Today also we see her advising to Dev do everything within the purview of relationship. Maybe she is afraid. Ya she does seem to be afraid but Dev isn't gonna listen to her! We cant fault her.It seems she lost her husband at a young age and Rajnath and Sakshi have supported her and her son.
Dev is all that she has. Maybe she know Sakshi will go any extent for protecting Shaurya even that means harming Dev. So as a mother she is doing what is a safe bet for her and her son. Never to cross Sakshi's path.That could possibly be the reason. I agree To be frank Dev cannot fight this battle on his own with his family. He is capable of fighting but he needs a strong shield that can take care of Sakshi Goenka. His mother is incapable of that. His vulnearability to his parents can be utilized by Sakshi again. Exactly..as suchitra is too naive to be a upper handDurga also needs Dev to get even with Goenka. I mean sitting outside she can get all the other peripherals who have caused the damage to Payal. But to get to Sakshi she needs Sakshi's or a power equivalent to Sakshi. I mean something like control of Goenka family in her hand and the only way to get that as I see it is to become the eldest DIL of Goenka family by marrying Dev.

Knowing Starplus they cannot survive without saas-bahu so it is a real possibility as they have made Dev elder to Shaurya and rightful heir to Goenka empire. But just with Suchitra he may not get his birthright as Sakshi will try to snatch it away for her son Shaurya.

Clearly, she is not ambitious, competitive or ruthless like her SIL and BIL.
I suspect that she knows more about the evil pair than she lets on.
Sometimes the mind's eye does not see what it does not wish to see.
She is a solitary figure, living in her own world, very removed from the rest of the household. She is very vulnerable to harm from the rest of the Goenkas. She needs to remain passive and out of their radar in order to survive. Her staying out of the Goenkas' path is a survival strategy for her. Only some one who is single minded and strong willed like the Goenkas can take them on. So it is a good strategy for her to lie low.
I would be very interested to see how Suchitra responds to the events as they unfold- especially when Shaurya' crime is brought under the spotlight once again but with strong supporting evidence this time.

Nithya/Durga- Both Names of Goddess Parvathi

So in naming itself CVs have indicated it is a pair, hence I came up with that theory. I am not telling Durga will go and marry Dev just like that.

First and foremost their mis understanding has to clear and that friendship needs to blossom again.

Then maybe some situation arises which forces Dev to take the decision or Dr Dayal to take the decision in best interest of Durga
