Why didn't she ??

Hello Everyone!!

Just got this thought randomly. We all know that Dev's mother has till now appeared to be a very polite and helpful lady. Her meeting with Durga and Durga's affection towards her clearly indicated that she had quite a good inclination towards Nitya and her family. Then why didn't she stand up for Payal during the rape case?? She too is a rich women as in she carries the title of Goenkas and She is a powerful socialite as well then what happened to her sincerity during Payal's rape case?? Is she also a shaded character? Does she also have some hidden intentions?? Do give your thoughts guys. And please tell me if anything extra was shown about her because I have missed out some epis of EHT..

In one episode, Rajnath and Sakshi were planning to usurp her property by getting it transferred in their name, under the guise of the cancer hospital.

She was not around that time. She was with Dev in the US. She cannot believe Payal did this to the Goenkas and also admitted to it but Sakshi emotionally blackmailed her and stopped her. She perhaps has a heart of gold but her intention unlike Durga aren't made of steel😊

Oh I didn't know she was away at the time. Yeah, she seems like a nice but weak-willed sort of woman.

She has no idea about the manipulative members of her family. That explains why Sakshi is more powerful than her.

It was shown in some episode that she wasn't around. She was with Dev in US and when she returned, Sakshi built up some other story that Payal and Nitya were not good and tried to manipulate Shaurya...something like that...

Durga and Dayal were discussing that they must thwart their plans and protect the poor lady.

I too felt that at the very least she could have informed her son who was Nitya's best friend. But Durga doesn't seem to resent her at least.

I had watched that epi. And this is Exactly what I mean, she could have informed her son sooner or later. This woman looks too sugary. I wonder if she is actually a positive character.

oh I see.. I had missed out that epi.. Thanks for telling. But even if this happened then atleast once she should have confronted Payal and asked as to what exactly happened. Doesn't she know how her nephew Shaurya is?? When whole kolkata knows it. Something is utterly fishy about her. I might be wrong but right now I kinda feel this.

I somehow agree to you. No wonder till now she gets carried away by Sakshi's sweet talks but then that all could also be a mask of goodness. We never know..
